Everybody has a story. Just listen. You never know what is going on behind their smile. Approximately 22 veterans take their own lives PER DAY. At 22 Too Many, they are committed to increasing public knowledge and awareness of PTS. 22 TOO MANY is also devoted to honoring the memory of the fallen who have been lost to suicide, as well as providing comfort and support to their mourning families. Suicide is not only a military issue. A 2024 National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report, 131.2 U.S. adults died by suicide PER DAY. Wow! Year 9 of supporting and honoring Jaimie Cox! Come join us in Roscoe, IL for an active day, Jaimie's way!  WE ARE THE ROSCOE AREA'S LARGEST 5K CHARITY EVENT! Our nature based 5K Run/Walk or 2 mile walk will begin at Roscoe Middle School (RMS). The route proceeds west to the historic Stone Bridge Trail before turning south as you continue to pound the crushed limestone path. A 22 Kilometer Trail Race. There will be divisions for individual, 2 person relay team, and 3 person relay team.  Starting on the Canton side of the Lake Barkley Bridge and crossing into the beautiful Land Between the Lakes Recreation area. The course will follow the paved path along highway 80 until connecting with the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail. Runners will stay on the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail for the full distance of the trail ending at Fenton. The course will then connect with the Kentucky Lake Bridge where runners will cross and finish just west of Kentucky Lake along Highway 80.

The 8th Annual Hoptown Half Marathon & 5K is a joint road race through Hopkinsville, KY, scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026. The updated Half Marathon and 5K courses will Start and Finish in the front of the iconic Christian County Justice Center.   The Half Marathon course winds through downtown Hopkinsville, residential areas, through beautiful Christian County countryside, and returns to finish downtown on the Hopkinsville Greenway/Rail Trail. My mother was an amazing woman who had taken care of herself and health  the best way that she could  while she was living with this disease.  However, sadly  she died last year August of 2024   due to diabetic complications . This was very traumatic for our family .         I’ve personally seen how hard it was for my mother to be able to afford her diabetic medicine when she really needed it , even with the  insurance that she had  . Having to pay for medicine while Paying bills and taking care of other house hold necessities can all be a lot to anybody. The 2026 Chemin-A-Haut 4 Mile Trail Run and 1 Mile Walk will be the 10th year for the event to take place.  The event is for all that enjoy the beauty of nature. Gleaning Housing is hosting the second annual Running Pumpkin 5k. Bring a pumpkin or if you are feeling more festive dress in your best pumpkin costume. We will provide pumpkins for anyone that donated $20 or more to Gleanings Housing. Gleanings is a nonprofit that builds affordable rental housing in Lexington, Ky.  Snacks and drinks will provide for all race participants. All are welcome for a fun fall run/walk.

The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is a 13.1‑mile experiential destination race that celebrates more than 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky’s distilling heritage. Starting and finishing in downtown Louisville, the course winds through the vibrant fall foliage of Cherokee Park, one of the city’s most scenic landmarks. Just over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, this straight forward event will be a great way to end your season!  Come experience the Matapeake Beach area with a 1/2 mile swim in the Chesapeake Bay, a 12 mile out-and-back bike ride along the straight and flat Route 8 (Romancoke Road) corridor, and then it's back out for an out-and-back 3.1 mile run on the South Island Trail. The James Island Connector Run (JICR) provides one of the most scenic race routes in the Southeast and one of the most challenging courses in the Lowcountry! Overlooking the beautiful Ashley River and the historic downtown peninsula of Charleston, this 8K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk starts and finishes on the James Island Connector from the James Island side of the river, staying on the connector with no exit ramps. The post-race festival includes a finishers medal and food at the finish line. The race starts at 8:00 am for all distances, runners and walkers.   Awards & Swag We will have the top finisher awards as well as 3 deep in all age groups and a walkers award: top 3 Male and Female walkers.
