Join us in supporting Julie’s Pink Warrior Project at the JOSC race series bonus race, the Miles for Mammos 5k on Saturday, October 17, 2026! Julie's Pink Warrior Project provides free screening mammograms to the uninsured and underinsured in our community. Money raised from this race go directly to funding those free mammograms.  This flat, fast race kicks off at 9am after an energizing warmup. We'll be bringing back this this spooky 5K to the Rochester area. The Rochester Boos & Brews 5K will be heading to Mendon, NY for 2026. The 5K will take place on the Lehigh Valley Trail. Costumes are not required but highly recommended. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk? The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! HKY 100 Mile Ultra Run Experience. Camaraderie. Competition.  Hickory’s inaugural 100 Mile Ultra Trail Race is for teams of 2 to 10 people and soloists.  This demanding course puts you or your team racing around the clock challenging the limits of endurance, pace and strategy.  The course consists of a 4-mile route taking you on double-track farm trails (believed to be old moonshine roads), to single track hiking trails onto the newly created Aviation Trail, then through Winkler Park into the Hickory Crawdad’s stadium where the start/finish line welcomes you back.  Over 15,500 feet of elevation awaits you for this 100-mile challenge. The route consists of approximately 70% trails and 30% paved. There are several short steep climbs and two longer climbs at .65 miles each (see course map).  The course will be well marked with cones, arrow signs and reflective tape for night running. What is the RAH?™ We’re glad you asked. RAH! represents the celebration of an annual event with hundreds of runners and thousands of fans in the beautiful, historic neighborhood of Ardmore in Winston-Salem. RAH! stands for Run Against Hunger because it’s a food drive with all net proceeds benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, which assists food insecure and at-risk families and children right in our own neighborhoods. RAH! is the sound of an entire community coming together to do something really worth cheering for. The race occurs the third Saturday in October, annually.  The 2025 RAH! features a fun run (1 mile), a 5K, and a 10K. Our Fall Spectacular event includes a 5K Run/Walk for all ages, a Mile Fun Run for ages 9 and under, and a Kiddie Dash for ages 6 and under. The County of Santa Clara Reentry Resource Center and its partners are hosting a 5K run/walk to raise money to support the immediate needs of justice-involved people (clothing, food, hygiene, transportation, etc.). The in-person 5K will take place on Saturday, October 17th at Hellyer County Park with a race start time of 9:00AM. Participants who choose the virtual option can run or walk the race on the day and time of their choice between October 17, 2026, and October 31, 2026. The "March" was the brainchild of Jerry Edmundson, former director of the Dyersburg/Dyer County Union Mission.  Edmundson created the race in 1991 to promote the Mission's youth programs, and the race has been held on Dyersburg's Square the third Saturday of October every year since. In 2016, when the Mission relinquished sponsorship of the event, Sarah Alley and a committee of supporters renewed the race as the Autumn March for ALS Awareness. Proceeds go towards Tennessee ALS Chapter, local Senior Scholarships, and supporting Matthew 25:40, Inc. Sarah Alley has been living with ALS for 13 years. ABSOLUTELY EPIC! No other way to describe our inaugural event. As a result, we are setting the stage for the 2nd Annual Lizard Peak Scramble in Lake Havasu City, AZ to be bigger, better and rowdier. Needless to say, we were stoked at your response.  We had participants from the four corners of AZ, across the Southwest and as far away as Washington, Texas, Montana and Minnesota. Many racers brought the heat. From our 10k to our 5k fun run loop we had people leave it all on the trail.  We had a total of 263 registered participants across all events in 2025 including the Kids Dirt Dash which was an absolute homerun.  For 2026 we are preparing for a significant increase in racers, casual runners and hikers.  If you came last year, you know what a great time it was. On Saturday, October 17, 2026, enjoy a beautiful run through Sakonnet Vineyard in Little Compton, RI.  Grab some friends and enjoy a trail run finishing amongst the vines.  After the race, there will be dinner, wine, and music in the vineyard.  Race participants will receive a souvenir wine glass as a memento of their experience. RACE DAY:    OCTOBER 17, 2026  9:00 AM EDT Start A point-to-point Half Marathon on the Butler Freeport Community Trail --- majority of the course is on a crushed limestone surface.  Our gentle downhill course allows many finishers to run their personal best times. Spectacular fall foliage makes our course one of the most scenic you will experience.  Race begins in Cabot and finishes at the south end of the Trail at the former Butler Junction under the highway 356 bridge over the Allegheny River.
