Whispering Hills Jellystone Park, located in Ohio’s Amish Country, offers a beautiful and varied terrain including rolling hills with a mix of challenging inclines and relaxing downhill stretches. Wind through the 220 acres, taking in the picturesque fall foliage and views of the countryside. Proceeds from this event will benefit the American Heritage Girls Troop OH-3125 chartered by Ripley Church of Christ in Big Prairie, Ohio. Our mission is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. Funds will be used for supplies, uniforms, activities, and trips. We are a faith-based character-building program for girls in the Shreve and western Holmes County area.

The Miles for Mary 5K Run and Walk began in 2013 to honor the memory of Mary Park and a growing number of other beloved members of our community. It also serves as a fundraiser for brain cancer research while raising awareness in a scenic and fun setting. This year, we are observing the 14th series of Miles for Mary, which has raised over $850,000. Community education leads to greater awareness of brain cancer and the importance of raising funds for more effective treatments.

The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is a 13.1‑mile experiential destination race that celebrates more than 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky’s distilling heritage. Starting and finishing in downtown Louisville, the course winds through the vibrant fall foliage of Cherokee Park, one of the city’s most scenic landmarks. A 22 Kilometer Trail Race. There will be divisions for individual, 2 person relay team, and 3 person relay team.  Starting on the Canton side of the Lake Barkley Bridge and crossing into the beautiful Land Between the Lakes Recreation area. The course will follow the paved path along highway 80 until connecting with the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail. Runners will stay on the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail for the full distance of the trail ending at Fenton. The course will then connect with the Kentucky Lake Bridge where runners will cross and finish just west of Kentucky Lake along Highway 80.

Be a part of a celebration of the parks in beautiful Queen Anne's County, Maryland. Just over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, this straight forward event will be a great way to end your season!  Come experience the Matapeake Beach area with a 1/2 mile swim in the Chesapeake Bay, a 12 mile out-and-back bike ride along the straight and flat Route 8 (Romancoke Road) corridor, and then it's back out for an out-and-back 3.1 mile run on the South Island Trail. 2025 Results Link   Trail run 5K at the Leelanau State Park trails off Densmore Road by the Woosley Airport in Northport, Michigan. Expect a challenging and fun trail loop with professional timing and 5-year age groups. The 2026 Chemin-A-Haut 4 Mile Trail Run and 1 Mile Walk will be the 10th year for the event to take place.  The event is for all that enjoy the beauty of nature. My mother was an amazing woman who had taken care of herself and health the best way that she could while she was living with this disease.  However, sadly she died last year August of 2024   due to diabetic complications. This was very traumatic for our family.         I’ve personally seen how hard it was for my mother to be able to afford her diabetic medicine when she really needed it, even with the  insurance that she had . Having to pay for medicine while Paying bills and taking care of other household necessities can all be a lot to anybody. What a lot of people don’t know is that unfortunately, whatever insurance won’t pay most have to pay a remaining balance out of pocket.   So, when I think about what she went through with this disease, and I think about how many othe

The 8th Annual Hoptown Half Marathon & 5K is a joint road race through Hopkinsville, KY, scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026. Gleaning Housing is hosting the second annual Running Pumpkin 5k. Bring a pumpkin or if you are feeling more festive dress in your best pumpkin costume. We will provide pumpkins for anyone that donated $20 or more to Gleanings Housing. Active SWV's Bridge Day 5K course starts on the North side of the NRG Bridge and gives runners the chance to take in the vast views from the bridge while running south towards the Court Street finish line in the town of Fayetteville.
