Take in the spectacular scenery at the Autumn Leaf Run. It's open to all ages and all skill levels of runners, walkers and nature enthusiasts. The 5k trail loops through diverse terrain including wide tree-lined trails, moderate hills, prairie areas, bridge crossings and several single track trail sections. The start and finish lines will be in close proximity and the race will be timed using a chip timing system. All proceeds go to the Freeport Parks Foundation to help fund upcoming projects at Oakdale Nature Preserve Park.

Foundations For Hope 5K- October 3, 2026  8:00 am Chipped Time Event Run or Walk 5K Fun For All Jerry Can 5K Relay - will be a (3) person relay with both men's teams and women's teams welcome. Each team will run/walk the 5K with a Jerry can provided by Foundations 4 Hope. The Waterman’s Triathlons are nestled on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in picturesque Rock Hall, MD. The Idaho High Mountain Triathlon brings athletes to the beautiful, eastern Valley County region of Idaho.  This challenging event takes advantage of the unique topography of the area from Warm Lake to Yellow Pine.  This triathlon begins at Warm Lake (elevation 5300') and ends at Yellow Pine (~4900') after crossing at a 7300' summit.   The event includes a Triathlon for able-bodied athletes; an Adaptive Triathlon; a Triathlon Relay; an Adaptive Triathlon Relay; and a Mixed Adaptive Relay (where at least one team member is able-bodied).  Relay teams must include three athletes.  Awards and after party will be held at Yellow Pine.  Plan to stay over after the race? 35th Annual Running  The Arkansas Traveller is steeped in tradition as one of the oldest 100 mile races in the country, maintaining its founding philosophy of providing a true ultrarunning experience melded with Southern hospitality. Our course consists of a 17-mile loop followed by an 83-mile out-and-back through the Ouachita Mountains on forest roads, jeep trails, and an eight mile section of the Ouachita Trail. 12,000 cumulative feet of climb. We will have 23 fully stocked and staffed aid stations with the friendliest volunteers and course veterans to help you reach the finish line.  The Traveller is a Western States qualifier. This is an evening Halloween fun run.Costume Contest for people who want dress up! Join us for a haunted forest Halloween Fun Run. A frightful affair for the whole family! Our Spooktacular trail will feature Trick or Treat stops along the course on the Wicked Way. This is the second event in the Holiday Racing Series. The course starts at Willow Park and follows Logan River Trail to Rendezvous Park and back. Costumes are most welcome! FREE Kids Fun Run: The Kids Fun Run is a separate course from the 5K. The kids run is approx. 0.5 miles. It runs around the field at the Willow Park stage. Kids will have the opportunity to grab candy along their short run. Join us for the 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run for Breast Cancer Awareness, hosted by Dr. Kim Leverett — breast cancer survivor and owner of A Kick Above: A Personal Training Studio.  Kim spent 10 years as a full-time pharmacist before following her passion for fitness and wellness. She transitioned into personal training to help others move beyond managing symptoms to truly living well. In 2013, after a routine mammogram, Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her treatment included six rounds of chemotherapy and 35 rounds of radiation. Remarkably, throughout her treatment, she continued to train clients and maintain her own workouts — often without anyone knowing what she was facing. Kim credits her faith in Christ, her fitness foundation, and the support of her clients for carrying her through.
