Rocky Mountain Road Runners holds a monthly Trophy Series in the Denver area.  We provide a low-key, low-cost racing environment. Everyone is welcome to run with us! The 8mi race uses a handicap start system, slow-to-fast, spread over ~45 minutes. This gives everyone a chance to win. We'll use your estimated finish time to assign you a start time with others the same speed. All 5k racers will start ~15min after the first 8mi starters. Our October race is at Star K Ranch, in Aurora, along the mostly dirt Sand Creek path. Race Day Details Time:   8:30am + handicap start for the 8mi. Back Roads Half & 10k

The main roads may be efficient but the back roads sure are beautiful. Take in the views of the Beartooth's as you cruise on rolling rural roads.  This fall Half and 10k is a great way to wrap up your summer running season. We know it's cross country season so this race on is on Sunday so you can watch your kids run on Saturday and then show them what you've got on Sunday! This is a race for everyone. Walkers welcome in the 10k. Sorry no dogs at this race as we go by lots of livestock and livestock guardian dogs. Both courses are on gravel with a few paved sections and minimal elevation gain....well there are 1 or 2 big hills, but after that, smooth sailing! Strollers are welcome, but require some serious grit. There is a short steep hill on the 10k course in the first mile and a longer, less steep hill in the first mile of the half. Both races finish with a steep of trail downhill -strollers have 100% gone down this, but do so at their own risk. We do mark a turn on the 10

This 10.6 mile point-to-point race runs through Lolo National Forest on rolling single-track trail alongside the Clark Fork River.  After the race, runners will be shuttled to Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort to enjoy post race food, drinks, and soak in the hot pools. 20th Annual Run for Riley 5 Mile & 5K

Join the Fort Wayne Running Club as we continue the tradition of supporting Riley Children's Hospital with the 20th Annual Run for Riley. Participants may choose between the 5 mile chip timed race or the 5K event.  Both events begin at Maple Creek Middle School and progress to the beautiful paved trails of the Fort Wayne Greenway. The course splits with 5 mile participants going one way and 5K participants going the other way. All participants end on the school track.  After the event join us in the school cafeteria to bid on the silent auction items, the 5 mile race awards and as always the wonderful treats and snacks Run for Riley has become known for. Make sure you stay for the announcement of our donation total to Riley Hospital.

Fall Backyard Burn Trail Run - Laurel Hill

Lorton, VA
Located just south of the Capital Beltway in Lorton, this beautiful race course includes a mixture of forested and open meadow singletrack meandering through 1600 acres of the former prison grounds. The race starts and ends under the old guard towers at the Workhouse Arts Center, which is the site of the former Lorton Reformatory.  The course is one of our least technical and most of it is on singletrack that is a mix of dirt and crushed stone.  The only short pavement sections are at the beginning and end of the race.  There are no extended climbs, but lots of short ups and downs. Kettle Cooker Trail Race

Explore the scenic Glenroy Preserve trails at the fourth annual Kettle Cooker Five & Dime on October 4th, 2027 presented by Herr's Snacks and Altra Running, along with many local sponsors! It takes a village! Glenroy Preserve is a beautiful outdoor playground that also happens to be rich in history. Some of the trails will take you through parts of the Underground Railroad, while even running past a tavern that was said to have served patrons during the Civil War. Each distance is a loop.
