The Race to Cure Sarcoma (RTCS) Tampa brings together hundreds of members of the community who have been impacted by this disease. Each year, the Sarcoma Foundation of America raises awareness and funds for much-needed research, through RTCS events across the country. This is a Chip Timed event! Thrive 5K is a community-action event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, supporting all survivors and taking a stand against violence in the Northern Kentucky and greater Cincinnati area. This will take place on October 3, 2026, this event is designed to bring people together in the spirit of promoting healthy relationships and ending domestic abuse. Participants can expect a fun-filled morning of walking, running, and cheering on others as they complete the 5K course (Race course updated in 2026) in the beautiful Devou Park. With each step, runners and walkers will be making a statement in support of those affected by domestic violence, showing that the community stands with them and is committed to creating a safer, healthier for all. The mission of the Dolphin Dash is to reduce or eliminate athletic, marching band and color guard user fees for Dennis-Yarmouth High School Students. Bridging the Gap Ride is an annual cycling event hosted by Motherland Cycling Club (MCC), that aims to bring cyclists of diverse backgrounds and persuasions together for a fun and entertaining ride where participants get to experience different cultures, eat, laugh and dance afterwards--all while also supporting a local charity. 35th Annual Running  The Arkansas Traveller is steeped in tradition as one of the oldest 100 mile races in the country, maintaining its founding philosophy of providing a true ultrarunning experience melded with Southern hospitality. Our course consists of a 17-mile loop followed by an 83-mile out-and-back through the Ouachita Mountains on forest roads, jeep trails, and an eight mile section of the Ouachita Trail. 12,000 cumulative feet of climb. We will have 23 fully stocked and staffed aid stations with the friendliest volunteers and course veterans to help you reach the finish line.  The Traveller is a Western States qualifier. The combination of volunteer and community support, the beautiful scenery of the Ouachitas, and the sneaky-hard runnable hills that will challenge you from beginning to end is what makes the AT100 so unique among the many ultras today. We’re back for Year 2! Join us for the 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run for Breast Cancer Awareness, hosted by Dr. Kim Leverett — breast cancer survivor and owner of A Kick Above: A Personal Training Studio.  Kim spent 10 years as a full-time pharmacist before following her passion for fitness and wellness. She transitioned into personal training to help others move beyond managing symptoms to truly living well. In 2013, after a routine mammogram, Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her treatment included six rounds of chemotherapy and 35 rounds of radiation. Remarkably, throughout her treatment, she continued to train clients and maintain her own workouts — often without anyone knowing what she was facing. Kim credits her faith in Christ, her fitness foundation, and the support of her clients for carrying her through. Now cancer-free since 2014, Kim is on a mission to empower others to prioritize their health and wellness. This annual event is her way of giving back, spreading awareness, and

All profit from this event go to fund the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway Association, so it only makes sense that the featured routes of the event spotlight the Scenic Byway. Weather you’re riding the new Gravel routes we added a few year ago, or the classic traditional paved routes of the Century & Metric Road rides, you’ll be experience the beauty, tranquility & adventure of the Sierra National Forest. Obviously the dirt sections of the gravel routes see almost zero vehicles, but the paved route also see very few cars! THE PROBILITY ANN ARBOR MARATHON Take to the scenic streets of Ann Arbor to help E-Race the Stigma with the 16th running of the Trinity Health Probility Ann Arbor Marathon. All distance events — marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, 10K, and 5K — start in downtown Ann Arbor at 209 S Ashley St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Run through the vibrant streets of downtown Ann Arbor, then wind your way through the panoramic University of Michigan campus. The marathon, half-marathon, and 10K courses also encompass stretches along the Huron River and Gallup Park and through Nichols Arboretum before returning to campus and downtown. Join us on Green Oaks Golf Course for our Third annual fun run/walk 5K!   This year the Divot Dash will be the main Fund raiser for the Art Serafinski Scholarship Fund.  Ypsilanti Township prides itself on being a community of opportunity. It is with that sentiment in mind that the Art Serafinski Scholarship Fund was started. The scholarship named in honor of former longtime director Art Serafinski, has a purpose to provide youth recreation opportunities with our department. This scholarship is need-based and designed to allow children up to age 17 to participate in our recreation classes and leagues at a discounted rate if eligible. Those eligible will receive 50% off their registration fees and up to $250 in aid per child per calendar year. The Night Owl Races are an excellent way to take the next step in trail running. The Six Hour Shuffle and Six Hour Team Shuffle is a good introduction to ultra running. Long enough to get past the marathon distance, but not too long. The Namesake Night Owl 5K and 10K are great introductions to night time trail running.  All three races are run on grassy ski trails over rolling hills. Their will be trail lights on for the 5K, 10K races and the final hour and a half of the 6hr shuffle, runners need to bring supplemental lighting with either a headlamp or hand held flashlight.

The 19th Annual Grand Traverse is a fully supported hike/run along the Superior Hiking trail in Duluth, MN.  The Grand Traverse offers four challenging distances to choose from.  All distances are point to point.  Shuttle bus service provided to start locations.  All distances finish at the Fitger's Courtyard next to Lake Superior.
