The Cheesy Pretzel 5k is back for 2026! The Cheesy Pretzel 5k & 1 Mile Walk is a USATF certified 5k event [IL23028NM] that winds through The Promenade Bolingbrook and surrounding neighborhoods.  All participants in the 5k and 1 mile walk will receive an order of Pretzel Bites and Cheese!  The first 550 registered participants will receive a moisture wicking long sleeve shirt & Cheesy Pretzel Finisher Medal!  Shirt size preferences will be first come, first serve; corresponding to each participants race registration date. Strollers and walkers are welcome to join the event. Stroller riders are free, but will not receive a race shirt or finisher's medal. Registered runners must be at least 5 years old. Join the Fort Wayne Running Club as we continue the tradition of supporting Riley Children's Hospital with the 20th Annual Run for Riley. Participants may choose between the 5 mile chip timed race or the 5K event.  Both events begin at Maple Creek Middle School and progress to the beautiful paved trails of the Fort Wayne Greenway. The course splits with 5 mile participants going one way and 5K participants going the other way. All participants end on the school track.  After the event join us in the school cafeteria to bid on the silent auction items, the 5 mile race awards and as always the wonderful treats and snacks Run for Riley has become known for. Make sure you stay for the announcement of our donation total to Riley Hospital.

Welcome to the Windsor Marathon. This event starts and ends at The Island at Pelican Lakes in Water Valley, with a great after party including breakfast, drinks and music. It's all for a great cause—raising awareness about the serious issue of human trafficking right here in our community. The Zarzaur Law Sea Turtle Triathlon is held annually the first Sunday of October.  The 2025 event will be on Sunday, October 5th, 2025. The event is held on beautiful Pensacola Beach, Florida. The event features a full triathlon experience for children from 6 to 15 years old while friends and family cheer them on. With a fully supported event on a closed course, safety and encouragement from volunteers complement the excitement of children becoming triathletes. The swim course is held in the beautiful waters of the Gulf of America followed by scenic bike and run courses.  Both the bike and run courses features an out and back layout  along Highway 399 which is closed to vehicular traffic during the event.  Every athlete will receive a finisher medal.  Custom age group awards are presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placement in each age group.  ​

Third Annual Boal City Oktoberfest 5K Trail Race Get ready for a 5 K trail run on Sunday, October 5th, during the heart of Oktoberfest and peak fall foliage! For the most elite runners out there, get ready to push your limits and challenge yourself to the max. The Keene Family YMCA’s Fall Foliage Trail Races offer runners a great opportunity to explore some of Keene’s best trails, while supporting the charitable work of the Y. This unique race starts and ends at the Keene YMCA, where spectators and your fellow runners will be cheering you on. This year we’re excited to bring you an even better race experience, with options for those new to the sport and for the seasoned trail runner. Our 5K course is a great introduction to trail running, with a good mix of terrain that will give you a taste of what it’s like to run trails. This is a fast course, offering a great experience for beginners, and a potential PR opportunity for those with a bit more experience. These 28 miles are divided into 4 legs, with each leg being chip timed by Competitive Timing.   The teams can consist of 8, 4, 2, or solo runners.**** Again we are adding an 8 person team.  This would let more people participate with dividing each leg into 2 runners.  Many can run 3.5 miles, but not 7 miles.  We're hoping to encourage more to participate running in our beautiful canyon!  The division would be entirely up to the participating team members and these splits will not be recorded by chip timing, only at each leg exchange, as normal.  Each participant is still required to pay the individual entry fee in order to receive the awesome swag and chip timing at each leg exchange. **** Each team is responsible for their own team members throughout the race distance. The Antelope Island Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.  All the distances are on Antelope Island. Antelope Island is home to 600 bison and the largest island on the Great Salt Lake. This course is a true marathon in that it is not all downhill like many. There are several rollers for the runners. The views of the race have the Great Salt Lake to the East and Antelope Island mountain on the West.
