The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Explore the scenic Glenroy Preserve trails at the fourth annual Kettle Cooker Five & Dime on October 4th, 2027 presented by Herr's Snacks and Altra Running, along with many local sponsors! It takes a village! Glenroy Preserve is a beautiful outdoor playground that also happens to be rich in history. Some of the trails will take you through parts of the Underground Railroad, while even running past a tavern that was said to have served patrons during the Civil War. Each distance is a loop. The 10 mile and 25K distances will follow the same course but then split around mile 9. The Timothy School is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children with autism, ages 5-21. For almost 60 years, the approved private school has worked to meet student needs through utilizing a research-based instructional model and focusing on each student’s individual strengths and needs to increase their skills and build their independence.   This is a family friendly event for individuals of all ages and abilities. The Bigfoot Race is the fourth in a series of trail runs through Louisville's beautiful parks. This is an eight mile run through the trails of Jefferson Memorial Forest.  We'll start at Horine Reservation and make our way winding through Red/Orange Trails with a couple miles toward the Welcome Center and back.   5 Mile Option Added! The Bryon Martini Jr. 5k Memorial Run/Walk is our way to remember Bryon and celebrate his life while giving back to the community. All proceeds will go towards  scholarships given to high school seniors at Frazier High School to help them start a bright future. The 5k course starts on the back loop in Water Works Park and shoots out the gun going clockwise on the flat and fast loop. Pound the Pavement is a 5K untimed Color Fun Run/Walk where participants start dressed in white and finish covered head to toe in vibrant color. The 36th Annual Race Against Breast Cancer 5K Walk/Run and Family Fun Walk - You make a difference. Right here in your community. By participating in the Especially for You® Race Against Breast Cancer, you’re helping to support free mammograms and other breast-care and gynecological services to area individuals in need.

The 11th annual Pink Ribbon Run (formerly Run for the Ribbons) 5K run and 1-mile walk raises funds for local people battling breast cancer and their families.  The event features a 5K run on a certified course with professional race timing by Run the East. All 5K participants receive an event t-shirt with their registration fee.  You must register no later than September 13, 2026 to guarantee an event t-shirt. 5Ks are fun. Beer is fun. 5Ks & Beer are typically not a natural pairing….typically. However, on Sunday, October 5th, the best of both worlds collide for the second annual STEIN DASH – and this year will again be EXCITING, for sure! (How you ask? Keep reading…).   So, here's the plan. You and your bestest friends are going to meet us at the start line Sunday morning. You're going to wander over to packet pickup where you will receive a pretty sweet Commemorative Stein, an awesome event shirt, a bib number, and a high-five. Then we shoot off our gun and you get running.   3.1 miles is no marathon but it still requires a pit stop (or three) and honestly water at on-course stops are a thing of the past. Grab your Stein, fill it up with a different beer at each of our three Beer Zones and chug, sip, sample, taste, pound – however you want to do it – just drink that beer and get back on the course because the clock still runs as you drink.   We are all going to be super proud of

5k race at the Statesville Soccer Complex. Awards for overall, masters & 5 year age groups nightly. This race will be part of the 2026 Championship Series.  Run in 10 races throughout the year and accumulate points. To be eligible for Series Championship you must compete in 10 out of 15 races.  1 additional point will be earned for each race over 10 Run in All 15 races and receive 5 additional points and a Free Race for 2027. $5.00 for Non SFTC Members to run in the race. SFTC Members are FREE to run in the race. JPII Cross Country Meet

The Antelope Island Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.  All the distances are on Antelope Island. Antelope Island is home to 600 bison and the largest island on the Great Salt Lake. This course is a true marathon in that it is not all downhill like many. There are several rollers for the runners. The views of the race have the Great Salt Lake to the East and Antelope Island mountain on the West.

Run for Austin’s Lungs is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held in honor of baby Austin, who is bravely battling chronic lung disease. Join us to celebrate his first birthday, raise awareness of his Chronic Lung disease, and support his ongoing medical care. Every step taken helps give Austin the breath of a brighter future. The entire registration fee (minus the $4 processing fee) goes directly to Austin’s care. After you register, the site will ask if you’d like to make an additional donation—this can simply be left at $0, meaning your total charge will be $54 for race registration. About the Lafayette Res Run for Education The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the Lafayette Res Run for Education which is traditionally held the third Sunday in October.    The 2025 Lafayette Res Run for Education will be held Sunday, October 19. 5k: 8am, 10k: 8:15am, 2 mile: 8:45am in downtown Lafayette, CA.   Back by popular demand, from its introduction in 2020, you can register for the Reservoir Challenge – the virtual race which “runs” around the 2.7-mile paved trail of the Lafayette Reservoir October 11-18. Please note, the Reservoir Challenge is not an option on Sunday, October 19 as the Reservoir will be closed for the 10K runners. The Reservoir Challenge is great opportunity to safely walk or run the Reservoir on your own, perhaps beating your time from last year.    Beneficiaries of the event are the local schools and the services and programs of the Chamber.
