Explore the scenic Glenroy Preserve trails at the fourth annual Kettle Cooker Five & Dime on October 4th, 2027 presented by Herr's Snacks and Altra Running, along with many local sponsors! The Bigfoot Race is the fourth in a series of trail runs through Louisville's beautiful parks. This is an eight mile run through the trails of Jefferson Memorial Forest.  We'll start at Horine Reservation and make our way winding through Red/Orange Trails with a couple miles toward the Welcome Center and back.   5 Mile Option Added! The Stein Dash

5Ks are fun. Beer is fun. 5Ks & Beer are typically not a natural pairing….typically. However, on Sunday, October 5th, the best of both worlds collide for the second annual STEIN DASH – and this year will again be EXCITING, for sure! (How you ask? Keep reading…).   So, here's the plan. You and your bestest friends are going to meet us at the start line Sunday morning. You're going to wander over to packet pickup where you will receive a pretty sweet Commemorative Stein, an awesome event shirt, a bib number, and a high-five. Then we shoot off our gun and you get running.   3.1 miles is no marathon but it still requires a pit stop (or three) and honestly water at on-course stops are a thing of the past. Grab your Stein, fill it up with a different beer at each of our three Beer Zones and chug, sip, sample, taste, pound – however you want to do it – just drink that beer and get back on the course because the clock still runs as you drink.   We are all going to be super proud of

The Antelope Island Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.  All the distances are on Antelope Island. Antelope Island is home to 600 bison and the largest island on the Great Salt Lake. This course is a true marathon in that it is not all downhill like many. There are several rollers for the runners. The views of the race have the Great Salt Lake to the East and Antelope Island mountain on the West.

About the Lafayette Res Run for Education The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the Lafayette Res Run for Education which is traditionally held the third Sunday in October.    The 2025 Lafayette Res Run for Education will be held Sunday, October 19. 5k: 8am, 10k: 8:15am, 2 mile: 8:45am in downtown Lafayette, CA.   Back by popular demand, from its introduction in 2020, you can register for the Reservoir Challenge – the virtual race which “runs” around the 2.7-mile paved trail of the Lafayette Reservoir October 11-18. Please note, the Reservoir Challenge is not an option on Sunday, October 19 as the Reservoir will be closed for the 10K runners.
