The Santa Cruz Triathlon is a popular, scenic, non-profit race offering Sprint and International (Olympic) distances, plus relays, aquabike, and an aquathlon option, known for its coastal course along West Cliff Drive and along Highway 1. Its an ocean swim around the iconic Santa Cruz Wharf, a spacious transition area on a soccer field, then riding out along West Cliff and Highway 1 to the quaint town of Davenport and back. Then finish with a beautiful run along West Cliff and finish on Cowells Beach.  This is great for beginners and veterans alike, with proceeds funding local high school and college athletics in Santa Cruz County. It's a long-running event that donates significantly to youth sports, featuring a sheltered ocean swim and largely closed-course bike and run, creating a fun, community-focused event.

Run/Walk To Save a Life is in honor of Christopher Andreozzi who passed away suddenly from sudden cardiac death caused by an arrhythmia on May 23, 2023. Christopher (Chris) was a lifelong resident of Hamden who graduated from Hamden High School, Trinity College, and Yale University.  Chris was a devoted psychiatric APRN at Yale New Haven Hospital and Turnbridge.  He was passionate about the care of his patients and believed that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. Proceeds from this event will benefit the CJA Charitable Foundation, Inc. All donations to the CJA Charitable Foundation, Inc. go directly toward furthering the Foundation’s mission of honoring the life and legacy of Christoper.  The Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) and arrhythmias while equipping individuals and communities with the knowledge and tools to respond to cardiac emergencies. We have partnered with USA Race Timing and Event Management to bring you the Annual Dublin Pet Fair 5K race, sponsored by Pet Palace! The race will start and end at the Dublin Rec Center and will travel through the Indian Run Meadows Park with the turning point at the ML Red Trabue Nature Reserve. The purpose of the Dublin Pet Fair is to bring awareness to animal welfare organizations in the state of Ohio, to promote adoption of shelter and rescue pets, to showcase animal related vendors and sponsors, and to provide an educational and entertaining event for the public. Proceeds from this event will be utilized for spay/neuter efforts to help control pet overpopulation, a major concern faced by the rescue community in our state.  Rescue organizations and shelters will bring along adoptable pets. Gravel racing through the Fall colors in the Upper Peninsula of MI, what could be better?  We offer 36, 50, and 100-mile course options that you can fiercely compete in, or slow roll and enjoy the beautiful scenery.  Race will start and finish at the gravel pit off of Sportsmens Club Rd (45.91628° N, 87.99001° W).  The courses will be minimally marked, a .gpx-compatible device is required for navigation.  Helmets and rear flashing lights are required, as is following all traffic laws and rules of the road.

The Golden Grizzlies Festival of Races is an event for all ages and abilities! Join us as we run a scenic loop through Oakland University's campus and finish with a lap on the Elaine Leigh track facility! Race for the Refuge The Highland City Striders welcome you to explore the trails at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge in Sudbury, MA! The Race for the Refuge begins at the ARNWR Visitor’s Center and traverses the beautiful trails around the Refuge. The course will lead runners into this idyllic nature refuge, past ponds, through pine and oak forests, and alongside mysterious military bunkers. Course Description The double track trails are hard-packed earth and gravel. It’s a great course for beginner trail runners. For the advanced trail runner, it could be an opportunity for a new PR!  Events The lineup features a 10K (1 loop) and 30K (3 loops) races, and a 6-hour timed event. For the timed courses, runners may do as many loops as desired. A loop must be completed by 3pm to be counted towards final mileage. This event honors the memory of Kelsey Favrot, who bravely fought brain cancer and wanted to help others facing the same diagnosis. Her goal was to establish a neuro-oncology program at LSU Health New Orleans so other patients could receive quality care without having to travel out of state. The LSU Foundation has honored her wish by creating the Kelsey Bradley Favrot Chair in Neuro-Oncology. As the oldest race in the Plainfield, this event has averaged around 800 to 900 people each year and has been put on by the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce. First Annual NCHI Inaugural Community Health Walk

Our family-friendly 1 mile run/walk and 5k race event is one of two flagship fundraising initiatives for the Lester PTA. Over 35% of our programming budget is generated by the Fun Run and all of its surrounding activities (Experiences, Raffles, Silent Auctions & More)! Our Commit to Community, Supporting Victims of Violence and Abuse takes place in September and includes the Kids Obstacle Course, 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run. All money raised through this event funds the St. Joseph Hospital's Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) program. Every participant, every donor, and every sponsor will be helping people in eastern Maine who require help from the hospital's SAFE nurses.

MoCo Dems 5K Fall Fun Run is organized by the MD District 15 Democratic Caucus in Montgomery County, Maryland. Welcome to the MCRRC Parks Half Marathon! The race begins just before sunrise, at 6:45 AM, on a scenic Montgomery County road and quickly transitions into a tour of beautiful Rock Creek Park. Mile markers help keep you on track, and we also have an excellent pace team ready to help you reach your goals. For years the Teaburner 5k was a major part of the Craft Faire weekend.  We are excited to bring running back in a bigger and better way.  In addition the the 5k we are having a 5 mile and a 1 mile race. The course consists of FLAT and FAST scenic roads. We are excited to share that this year we have added a 4 mile race option through the beautiful trails of RB Winter State Park. This distance is perfect for beginners who want to try trail running, as well as experienced runners who would like to enjoy a relaxed day on the trails with friends. The Dam Half Trail Challenge has grown from a small race for hardcore trail runners into a popular, family-friendly event with a few hundred participants taking on the trails each year. Trail running has exploded in popularity, especially in central PA, where our diverse and high-quality races have even drawn national attention.  Profits from the races will be shared with the Mifflinburg Hose Company and the Middleburg Boy Scouts. NOTE: To receive the neck gaiter and gloves you must register by Sunday, September 6. We need three weeks lead time for the supplier.
