The Breakthrough Challenge was founded in 2013. Our goal is to raise funds supporting breakthroughs in cancer research at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center by uniting for a scenic and inspiring bike ride through Eastern PA's beautiful Oley Valley.

Miles for Migraine will host its 13th annual 2-mile Walk, 5K Run and Relax Philadelphia Event on Sunday September 29th at The Navy Yard Philadelphia. This event is a fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research. Dress up in your best purple flair for a chance at a fun prize!  All funds raised will benefit the Jefferson Headache Center and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to support local migraine research and fellowship training programs and Miles for Migraine programs & services.

Join us in celebrating the rich history of the Puyallup Valley with a scenic run along the river!This is a fast and relatively flat course, perfect for chasing a PR or enjoying a smooth, scenic run through the valley. The START/FINISH line is located on the Puyallup Riverwalk Trail behind Fred Meyer.  The 10K will head toward Sumner along the river.  The Half Marathon will continue through Van Lierop Park and onto the Foothills Trail, showcasing some of the area’s most scenic paths.  The course includes a mix of paved trail, sidewalks, and a few street crossings. 🏅 Awards will be presented to the top two male and female finishers in both the Half Marathon and 10K. ⚠️ Participant limit: This event is limited to 200 total registrants for safety reasons.Registration Includes:Finisher medalChipped timing bibPost-race snacks 👕 First 60 registrants will receive a short-sleeve event shirt. ⏱ Half Marathon time limit: 4 hours.

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. All participants registered for the GORUCK division will earn this year's exclusive TMF GORUCK patch. Learn more about GORUCK here.

Our Commit to Community, Supporting Victims of Violence and Abuse takes place in September and includes the Kids Obstacle Course, 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run. All money raised through this event funds the St. Joseph Hospital's Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) program. Every participant, every donor, and every sponsor will be helping people in eastern Maine who require help from the hospital's SAFE nurses.

MoCo Dems 5K Fall Fun Run is organized by the MD District 15 Democratic Caucus in Montgomery County, Maryland. As the oldest race in the Plainfield, this event has averaged around 800 to 900 people each year and has been put on by the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce. Prior to the race, be sure to visit our vendors and sponsors who will be throughout the park. Proceeds from the race each year are donated back out in the Plainfield and surrounding communities to non-profits and other organizations. 33 Years of Supporting Vermont Adaptive The Vermont 50 is an annual race held during the last weekend of September at Ascutney Outdoors in  West Windsor, Vermont. All benefits go to Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports. A wonderful  place where youth and adults with disabilities gain a measure of self confidence and independence by participating in adaptive sports programs and activities year-round. Since 1993 the Vermont 50 has been a destination for mountain bikers and ultra runners to enjoy a challenging and scenic Vermont landscape course that is like no other.  There is something for everyone. A classic, high-alpine, vert-heavy Colorado 50k! Get some miles on the Colorado Trail and run all the way to 13,150' feet in elevation! Starting and finishing at the base of Mount Princeton, runners are treated to panoramic views of the Sawatch Range and the gorgeous Arkansas River Valley. The race runs in a large lollipop and is essentially one long 7000' foot climb and one long 7000' descent. The beginning and end have a mix of dirt and paved roads, but the middle is 25 miles of uninterrupted singletrack, including 12 miles on the Colorado Trail. Yet, despite the amount of vert this course is surprisingly runnable, especially for a runner with mountain experience. Add in the changing aspen leaves and the (usually) perfect fall weather and you've got yourself one hell of end-of-the-season race. Weighted Angels is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating out of the Virginia Peninsula. We provide weighted stuffed animals to grieving families who have experienced stillbirth and infant loss before they leave the hospital. Our mission is to make sure no family leaves the hospital with empty arms. Did you know the fastest 5k ever run was completed by Joshua Cheptegei in 12 minutes and 35 seconds? With the current rate of stillbirth being 1 every 16 seconds, that means in just that short time, an average of 47 babies were born silently into this world. The current statistics are alarming and heart breaking. Gather your horde of ghastly ghouls for the second-annual Busch Gardens Fiends Frenzy 5k! This spirited run takes place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 7:30 am. Experience the park decked out in its Howl-O-Scream® decor and encounter a friendly fright or two before you cross the finish line in Oktoberfest village. Join us for a fun morning of triathlon racing and then stay to enjoy The Cove indoor water park!  We are happy to offer race options for kids from age 4 up to age 15! Whether your young athlete is brand new to triathlon or they have been working hard on their race skills, we have a race for them!
