Join us for our 2nd annual 5K run/walk at the Belmont County Fairgrounds to raise money for LifeWise programs in Belmont County, Ohio. LifeWise is a nonprofit organization that teaches character trait education through Bible stories during school hours. The course is paved with beautiful rural scenery. It is a family friendly environment with activities for the kids including a color fun run following the 5K race. The Big Red Bus will make an appearance.  Food will be provided for the race participants. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome. Be respectful of other runners. Despite competing in all the individual events within a Decathlon, and inequality persists: women are still barred from competing in the Decathlon at the international level - the iconic event which crowns the world’s greatest athlete. We’re done waiting for permission to compete - we’re organizing our own competition. Join us for the second annual Women’s Decathlon World Championships. This event is more than a competition: it's a call to action for the International Olympic Committee and World Athletics to embrace inclusivity. The Columbus Triathlon and Multisport Festival has something for everyone of all ages and ability levels! SOUTH CAROLINA TRAIL RUNNERS Runners and families are invited to enjoy the great outdoors on the doorstep of the Blue Ridge Mountains in northwest South Carolina. The scenic 5k course is a great for novice trail runners and experienced racers alike. The single track trails meander along and across scenic Carrick Creek from the nature center as youclimb toward Pinnacle Mountain. After a short climb, the 5k runners will race downhill, looping back toward the start finish line. Up for more of a challenge? The 15k race course, which is currently closer to a17K,  will test the most seasoned trail runners. It follows the same route as the 5k for the first two miles. However, the 15k course climbs nearly 2000 feet over the first 5 miles. You will struggle to make it over several gaps and reach the race’s high point of Pinnacle Mountain. The Brookline Breeze is a challenging 5K fitness run/walk on the rolling hills of Brookline, a neighborhood located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 5K course takes runners and walkers from Brookline Memorial Park to the city border with Dormont and back again. The 3.1 mile route follows Brookline Boulevard to Pioneer Avenue, then turns left and proceeds to a turn-around near West Liberty Avenue, then back again. Breeze Day fun begins at 7:30am with packet pickup and pre-race registrations. The first event of the morning is the One-Mile Mini-Breeze for the young ones, followed by the One-mile Dog Walk. The Mini-Breeze course is laid out around the perimeter of Brookline Memorial Park. Then, at 9:00am, it's time for the main event, the 5K run/walk.

Kirby Medical Center and the City of Monticello proudly offer the annual KMC Sage City Triathlon. The venue is well designed for beginner triathletes and elite competitors, and everything in between. The shallow depth pool makes this an ideal starting point for any triathlete concerned about the swim, and the condition of the course offers an opportunity for elite triathletes to find a new PR.  Registration closes at 4PM Thursday on race week.  There will be no late registration and no on-site registration.  If you want to race, be sure to register by 4PM Thursday!! The Annual White Squirrel Triathlon. Whether you are a seasoned Triathlete or a first timer, this race is a great event for you! This sprint/beginner triathlon will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at Musgrove Park and Aquatic Center in Olney, Illinois. The event will consist of a 200 meter outdoor pool swim, followed by a 14.2 mile bike (HELMETS REQUIRED), and finishing with a 5K/3.1 mile run/walk.. The event is open to all - from beginners to the most experienced athletes. Youth who will be 10 or 11 by race day may swim, run, or both, on a team. On Saturday, August 8, 2026, OFS is hosting its 6th Annual Honor and Remember Run. The family-friendly 5K and 10K Trail & Ruck Run was created in honor of military veterans, their families, emergency personnel, and all who died on 9/11 and the wars following that fateful day. Ruck Runners are encouraged to participate in 2 sets of 22 honor pushups/pullups to help bring awareness to the fact that 22 veterans commit suicide every day. All proceeds will be donated to the Police Departments of Huntingburg, IN and Jasper, IN, furthering their commitment to keep our communities safe and honoring those fallen. This will be the fifth running of the "Spin & Dye" 8k race in Erwin, NC.  The proceeds this year will benefit Rockism for Autism.  This will be challenging 8k that will start and finish at Al Woodall Municipal Park.  The race will start at 7:00 am and will be chip timed.  Medals will be presented to the top 3 overall female and male.  Age group medals will be given to females and males based on USAT&F 10 year groupings: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up. Race the Runway 5.02K is the first event in the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series. This race will be professionally chip-timed. All participants will receive a commemorative Race the Runway 5.02K short-sleeved shirt and a custom finisher medal. Join us before and after the race for light snacks and refreshments, and be sure to visit our vendors and sponsor booths. Pre-race festivities begin at 8 a.m. with snacks, refreshments and opportunities to connect with our vendors and sponsors. Walkers and runners will take off at 9 a.m. Part of the course takes place on the Bowman Field runway, where participants will run alongside aircraft for a truly unique race-day experience. Packet pick-up will be held Friday, Aug. 7, from 12–6 p.m. at the Bowman Field Administrative Office (2815 Taylorsville Rd.). Race-day packet pick-up will also be available from 8–8:45 a.m.

The Adel Sweet Corn 5K run/walk is hosted the second Saturday in August and takes place in Adel along the parade route in front of hundreds of spectators. An amazingly scenic greenway race!  The race starts in Kreager Park park, winds is way along the Maumee river before the return trip along the same path. You'll love the novelty of the distance and the beauty of the path.   We have added a shorter and unique 7K distance. This is race #3 and the final race in the Epic Summer Series.  Run / Walkers will have 3 hours to complete the course.

TRI Columbus race is located in beautiful Columbus, Indiana in the Tipton Lakes neighborhood. The race is 8 minutes from the I65 Columbus/Bloomington exit. TRI Columbus was formally known as the Columbus Challenge Triathlon which ended in 2018. The Columbus Running Club has brought back the much loved event.  The triathlon event is a 500m swim in Tipton Lakes (time trial start) followed by a 13.5 mile bike through the country and a 5k run. The duathlon is a 5k run, 13.5 mile bike and a 5k run. Spectators are encouraged to come!

The Subaru CASA Cycling Challenge is an extreme cycling event that allows individuals and teams to test their endurance over a 24-hour period while raising funds for children in need. The event is the largest annual fundraising event for CASAs for Kids Fund, which supports court-appointed volunteers and facilitates opportunities for abused or neglected children in Tippecanoe County.
