Back for a second year in Lincoln, Maine is the River Driver 50 Miler starting at 4:30 am at the Lincoln Loon, heading south on Rt 2 to Greenbush and back. This is a flat and fast, out and back course for any ability. This race will be part of the Lincoln Marathon 5K/10K/Half/Full which will start at 7:30 am the same day. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Ice cream, whoopie pies, fluff a nutter and more will be waiting for you at the finish line at Prince Thomas Park. And there is even a lake to take a cool dip.

Friends of the Shelter is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization established to fund the medical care of the sick and injured dogs at the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center. The Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center is funded by the county budget and from funds generated through fees, such as dog licenses. However, these sources of funding are not sufficient to provide medical care for the Shelter dogs that need more than basic services. The Friends of the Shelter was formed in 2003 to save these sick or injured—but otherwise adoptable—dogs so they can be adopted into loving, forever families. Friends of the Shelter is an all-volunteer group of local individuals who donate their time to the day-to-day operations of the organization. Additionally, the volunteers plan and coordinate fundraising events, marketing and public relations projects and provide accounting and legal guidance. As an all-volunteer group, the organization is able to keep overhead very low, allowing over 95% of donations to help our shelter dogs in need.

The Lawndale 5K is hosted every year by Lawndale Christian Fitness Center (LCFC). This event brings the community together to run, walk, and play, and it invites people near and far to join in! The proceeds of the Lawndale 5K are used to support our FitnessRx program, which provides free memberships for LCHC patients with a chronic illness. Since 2017, we have partnered with the Jeffersonville Police Department to hold an annual community event to raise money for our local law enforcement, the Back Your Blue 5K.  Every year , the event is held down at the Big Four Station in Downtown Jeffersonville with food, activities, and demonstrations for everyone to experience. Local businesses and members of the community sponsor the event, which helps raise funds for the officers of the Jeffersonville Police Department.  The event is open to anyone who wants to participate, run or walk.

The Fort4Fitness Fall Festival is the year’s biggest community celebration of fitness in Downtown Fort Wayne! Every year, thousands of athletes train for and participate in the Fall Festival. The Saturday event features three race distances (4 Mile, 10K, and Half Marathon) to suit people of all ages and abilities. Participants are enthusiastically encouraged along the way by neighborhood cheer groups and live music performers, and they're awarded a finisher medal at the Finish Line at Parkview Field. Virtual options for the 4 Mile, 10K, and Half Marathon are open as well. These participants will complete their distances at any time or place and will receive a race shirt and finisher medal.

20th Annual 24-Hour Race VENUE:Hinson Lake, Rockingham, North Carolina RULES: This event will be electronically timed.  All participants will be issued a bib/chip which must be worn at all times to guarantee that all completed laps and splits are recorded.  There will be a chute for runners only and if you will be taking a break, you will be asked to steer clear of the lap counting area. COURSE: The course is the 1.5032-mile inner loop that circles the lake. It is a USATF certified course with certification code NC14103DF.  The surface is sand/gravel-maintained trail through the woods. You will run over 16 small wooden foot bridges including a 300-foot bridge that crosses over the lake. The trail will be marked on race day and will use chem-lights at night. The Ville to Ville Sprint Relay is a 3-person running relay. Teams will complete 21 miles with a start and finish at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, SC. Runners will travel the Swamp Rabbit Trail and enjoy a festive post-race tailgate celebration with music, college football, and craft brews.
