Welcome to our fifth annual Worth the Weight Race set to take place Saturday, August 8th in Old Westmont. We offer 5K, 10K, Kids Fun Run (WTW Kids!), and virtual options.Worth the Weight Kids! will start at 8 AM and our adult races (5K run/walk and 10K) will start at 8:15 AM.Location is the same: 827 Diamond Blvd. Johnstown, PA 15905 (bathrooms will be available on-site).All routes will feature the quaint and scenic neighborhood of Old Westmont and was recently updated last year to include the beautiful Inclined Plane! Brookline Breeze 5K Run & Fitness Walk

The Brookline Breeze is a challenging 5K fitness run/walk on the rolling hills of Brookline, a neighborhood located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 5K course takes runners and walkers from Brookline Memorial Park to the city border with Dormont and back again. The 3.1 mile route follows Brookline Boulevard to Pioneer Avenue, then turns left and proceeds to a turn-around near West Liberty Avenue, then back again. Breeze Day fun begins at 7:30am with packet pickup and pre-race registrations. The first event of the morning is the One-Mile Mini-Breeze for the young ones, followed by the One-mile Dog Walk. Slickville 5k Coal Mine Climb & 2 Mile Fun Walk

Slickville, PA
Come join us during our 2025 Slickville Community Days celebration! The August 9th 5k race is a challenging backcountry route with several hills leading to the "coal mine climb" up the slate mound past the famous Slickville sign that overlooks the town. The 2-mile walk is a much gentler course through town for the first half and returning to the finish on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail where you can watch the runners in their attempt to reach the summit of the race.  Be sure to sign up early to guarantee receipt of an event sports shirt in your preferred size. After completing the run/walk, all participants will be treated to a complimentary pancake breakfast with locally sourced genuine maple syrup courtesy of the Slickville Community Church and Maple Lodge. Three Bridges Five Mile Road Race, part of the "LDR Championship Series

Daniel's Race

This 5K race is in remembrance of Daniel Myslivecek, who lost his battle with Melanoma at the age of 16. A friend of Daniel's organized the first 5K in 2005 to help the family with medical costs. Daniel ran in that first race and died 4 months later from his illness. The 5K has continued with the support of our community and each year the proceeds are given to a family or organization that helps children with a life-threatening illness while heightening Melanoma awareness. 2026 Brigantine Beach Triathlon

The City of Brigantine and Green Whales, Inc are proud to present the 2026 Brigantine Beach Triathlon. Every year since its inception, the race has benefited various entities on Brigantine Beach including the Polar Bear Plunge, Brigantine Rams, Brigantine Baseball and Softball, Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the American Red Cross, the Brigantine Community School,  the South Jersey Cancer Fund, Atlantic United Soccer, and the EHT Police Exploreres, and local community benefits.    Local Police, Fire, EMS. the Department of Public Works, the Beach Patrol, the Department Of Emergency Management, the NJ State Police, US Coast Guard, the City Manager, City Council and Mayor of Brigantine are all intimately involved in making this race a success, year after year. The 5th Annual Sprocket Fuel MTB Race returns this August to challenge mountain bikers of all ability levels on the AWESOME trails at Harris Lake. Get your game face on and race on some of the best single-track in the Triangle Area! During registration, choose from 34 skill and age-based classes. Depending on class, racers will start in waves and complete 1-3 laps (3.5-22.5 miles) on a course that includes smooth, twisty, and flowing single-track trails. 50th Annual Great Waldensian Footrace

The Vinings Down Hill 5K Run for the Kids

On August 8th, 2026, an anticipated 2,000 runners, walkers, and spectators, will gather for the 2026 Vinings Downhill 5K race. The Vinings Down Hill 5K course begins at the top of Mt. Wilkinson, winds around the Cumberland Mall area, and ends at the Lovett School (280-foot net drop).  Despite the name of the race, well, it’s “not quite” all downhill…there are 3 hills to climb throughout the race – at the half-mile mark, during the second mile and during the last half-mile. There are also 3 really amazing down hill sections that make up for those climbs! There is also a Kids 1K Fun Run and a fun Doggie Dash & Costume Contest! Crystal Lake Team Marathon

One of the most beautiful 26.2 courses in the state of Michigan around Crystal Lake in Beulah. The course starts and finished at the east end of Crystal Lake in Beulah (start and finish rough 400 meters apart).   As in years past, we will be offering runners the chance to run the full 26.2 as a competitive individual.  The individual race begins at 7am with teams starting at 8am. We request all individuals and teams finish by 1pm (6 hr cutoff). For those that may need longer, please email and we can setup earlier start time.  Teams of 5 are encouraged, but you may register a team with fewer than 5 runners. This year’s Quality of Life Run will take place on Saturday, August 8, returning to our original course from the Top of the Rims. The 5-mile race starting line will be located at Masterson Circle. From there, the course will proceed east on Highway 3 to 27th Street, then continue down to MSU-B, where the 2-Mile Race will begin. The finish line for all races will be at the cul-de-sac at N. 32nd Street and 6th Avenue North.    With the change in course and date, we hope to attract even more runners. We are excited to announce the 4th Annual Swift Bear Trail Run along with the new added event of 50K! It will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 during Hays Powwow in the beautiful Mission Canyon. Along with the 50K, there will still be the 10 Mile and 20 Mile runs. So, come on out and get your run on!
