The Brookline Breeze is a challenging 5K fitness run/walk on the rolling hills of Brookline, a neighborhood located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 5K course takes runners and walkers from Brookline Memorial Park to the city border with Dormont and back again. The 3.1 mile route follows Brookline Boulevard to Pioneer Avenue, then turns left and proceeds to a turn-around near West Liberty Avenue, then back again. Breeze Day fun begins at 7:30am with packet pickup and pre-race registrations. The first event of the morning is the One-Mile Mini-Breeze for the young ones, followed by the One-mile Dog Walk. The Mini-Breeze course is laid out around the perimeter of Brookline Memorial Park. Then, at 9:00am, it's time for the main event, the 5K run/walk.

The Shimmy in Shickshinny 1/2 and 1/4 Marathon is BACK for 2026! This flat, fast, and shaded course is PERFECT for a mid-summer half-marathon!The Shimmy in Shickshinny follows the hard-packed Susquehanna Warrior Trail as it runs along the west bank of the Susquehanna River in Luzerne County, PA. SOUTH CAROLINA TRAIL RUNNERS Runners and families are invited to enjoy the great outdoors on the doorstep of the Blue Ridge Mountains in northwest South Carolina. The scenic 5k course is a great for novice trail runners and experienced racers alike. The single track trails meander along and across scenic Carrick Creek from the nature center as youclimb toward Pinnacle Mountain. After a short climb, the 5k runners will race downhill, looping back toward the start finish line. Up for more of a challenge? The 15k race course, which is currently closer to a17K,  will test the most seasoned trail runners. It follows the same route as the 5k for the first two miles. However, the 15k course climbs nearly 2000 feet over the first 5 miles. You will struggle to make it over several gaps and reach the race’s high point of Pinnacle Mountain. Join us for our 21st Annual HEAT Kid's Triathlon on Saturday August 8, 2026 at 7 am. There are two race divisions. Juniors: ages 6-10 and Seniors: ages 11-15. The 6-10 year olds will swim a 50 yard pool swim, bike 2 miles, and run 1 mile. The 11-15 years olds (Seniors) will swim a 100 yard pool swim, bike 4 miles, and run 2 miles.   *USAT (USA Triathlon) rules require that the age that is used is the age as of 12/31 of the race year.  So, make sure you are clear if you have a 10 year old, for example that will be 11 before the end of the year that they are required to race in the Senior age troup. USAT also has rules about the bike - no training wheels are allowed.

Come join us during our 2025 Slickville Community Days celebration! The August 9th 5k race is a challenging backcountry route with several hills leading to the "coal mine climb" up the slate mound past the famous Slickville sign that overlooks the town. The 2-mile walk is a much gentler course through town for the first half and returning to the finish on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail where you can watch the runners in their attempt to reach the summit of the race.  Be sure to sign up early to guarantee receipt of an event sports shirt in your preferred size. After completing the run/walk, all participants will be treated to a complimentary pancake breakfast with locally sourced genuine maple syrup courtesy of the Slickville Community Church and Maple Lodge. Registration is open on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM.  The run/walk begins at 8:30 AM.  An awards ceremony will follow around 9:30 but feel free to stay or come back later to check out the other events including a car

Race the Runway 5.02K is the first event in the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series. This race will be professionally chip-timed. All participants will receive a commemorative Race the Runway 5.02K short-sleeved shirt and a custom finisher medal. Join us before and after the race for light snacks and refreshments, and be sure to visit our vendors and sponsor booths. Pre-race festivities begin at 8 a.m. with snacks, refreshments and opportunities to connect with our vendors and sponsors. Walkers and runners will take off at 9 a.m. Part of the course takes place on the Bowman Field runway, where participants will run alongside aircraft for a truly unique race-day experience. Packet pick-up will be held Friday, Aug. 7, from 12–6 p.m. at the Bowman Field Administrative Office (2815 Taylorsville Rd.). Race-day packet pick-up will also be available from 8–8:45 a.m.

An amazingly scenic greenway race!  The race starts in Kreager Park park, winds is way along the Maumee river before the return trip along the same path. You'll love the novelty of the distance and the beauty of the path.   We have added a shorter and unique 7K distance. This is race #3 and the final race in the Epic Summer Series.  Run / Walkers will have 3 hours to complete the course.

TRI Columbus race is located in beautiful Columbus, Indiana in the Tipton Lakes neighborhood. The race is 8 minutes from the I65 Columbus/Bloomington exit. TRI Columbus was formally known as the Columbus Challenge Triathlon which ended in 2018. The Columbus Running Club has brought back the much loved event.  The triathlon event is a 500m swim in Tipton Lakes (time trial start) followed by a 13.5 mile bike through the country and a 5k run. The duathlon is a 5k run, 13.5 mile bike and a 5k run. Spectators are encouraged to come!

The Subaru CASA Cycling Challenge is an extreme cycling event that allows individuals and teams to test their endurance over a 24-hour period while raising funds for children in need. The event is the largest annual fundraising event for CASAs for Kids Fund, which supports court-appointed volunteers and facilitates opportunities for abused or neglected children in Tippecanoe County. The Bulldog Chase is a flat, fast out and back 5K course.  This is the last race in the series of the 5 races for the SIRC. There will be many door prizes and the final standings of the SIRC race series will be announced at the awards program upon completion of the Bulldog Chase.

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, OFS is hosting its 6th Annual Honor and Remember Run. The family-friendly 5K and 10K Trail & Ruck Run was created in honor of military veterans, their families, emergency personnel, and all who died on 9/11 and the wars following that fateful day. Ruck Runners are encouraged to participate in 2 sets of 22 honor pushups/pullups to help bring awareness to the fact that 22 veterans commit suicide every day. All proceeds will be donated to the Police Departments of Huntingburg, IN and Jasper, IN, furthering their commitment to keep our communities safe and honoring those fallen. It is time again for the Annual Pike XC Alumni & Family 5K XC race on the beautiful Pike XC Course. Our course is located right behind Eastbrook Elem. (7625 New Augusta Road, Indianapolis, IN, 46268). The race will take place on August 9th, 2025 @ 9:00AM.  Check in will begin @8:00am & close @8:30am at the finish line. This will be the fifth running of the "Spin & Dye" 8k race in Erwin, NC.  The proceeds this year will benefit Rockism for Autism.  This will be challenging 8k that will start and finish at Al Woodall Municipal Park.  The race will start at 7:00 am and will be chip timed.  Medals will be presented to the top 3 overall female and male.  Age group medals will be given to females and males based on USAT&F 10 year groupings: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.
