Daniel's Race

This 5K race is in remembrance of Daniel Myslivecek, who lost his battle with Melanoma at the age of 16. A friend of Daniel's organized the first 5K in 2005 to help the family with medical costs. Daniel ran in that first race and died 4 months later from his illness. The 5K has continued with the support of our community and each year the proceeds are given to a family or organization that helps children with a life-threatening illness while heightening Melanoma awareness. Slickville 5k Coal Mine Climb & 2 Mile Fun Walk

Slickville, PA
Come join us during our 2025 Slickville Community Days celebration! The August 9th 5k race is a challenging backcountry route with several hills leading to the "coal mine climb" up the slate mound past the famous Slickville sign that overlooks the town. The 2-mile walk is a much gentler course through town for the first half and returning to the finish on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail where you can watch the runners in their attempt to reach the summit of the race.  Be sure to sign up early to guarantee receipt of an event sports shirt in your preferred size. After completing the run/walk, all participants will be treated to a complimentary pancake breakfast with locally sourced genuine maple syrup courtesy of the Slickville Community Church and Maple Lodge. Registration is open on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM.  The run/walk begins at 8:30 AM.  An awards ceremony will follow around 9:30 but feel free to stay or come back later to check out the other events including a car

The Sweet Pea Run

It's held the weekend of the Sweet Pea Festival of the Arts as a liaison event. This is a fun, family event as well as a competitive running race offering cash prizes. Thanks to our special sponsors, The Billings Clinic and members of the Big Sky Wind Drinkers Running Club, this race will be FREE this year for kids 15 and under! The beautiful loop course will start and finish in the Snowbowl base area. The 9.3 mile course will climb for 4.65 miles on a mixture of dirt and double track roads. You will reach the top of the climb, and the only aid station on the course, at the top of Grizzly Chair. From there you will enjoy a beautiful 4.65 mile descent down the popular stretch of single track in the ski area, known as Beargrass Highway. This trail will bring you all the way back to the base area and finish line. The City of Brigantine and Green Whales, Inc are proud to present the 2026 Brigantine Beach Triathlon. Every year since its inception, the race has benefited various entities on Brigantine Beach including the Polar Bear Plunge, Brigantine Rams, Brigantine Baseball and Softball, Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the American Red Cross, the Brigantine Community School,  the South Jersey Cancer Fund, Atlantic United Soccer, and the EHT Police Exploreres, and local community benefits.    Local Police, Fire, EMS. the Department of Public Works, the Beach Patrol, the Department Of Emergency Management, the NJ State Police, US Coast Guard, the City Manager, City Council and Mayor of Brigantine are all intimately involved in making this race a success, year after year. Schweizer Fest 2 & 6 Mile Road Run

Tell City, IN
Lace up those shoes, and join us August 8, 2026 for the 49th running of the Schweizer Fest 2 & 6 Mile Road Run. We feature 2 race distances, both of which go through Tell City's historic downtown area, the heart of Schweizer Fest. Everbody's Fun & Fitness Center is excited to host this event, which is open to runners and walkers of all skill levels. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group and gender. A special award will be given to the top male and female in each of the races. This years awards breakdown is based on 5 year age groups. The 2 mile course is a fast, flat route in the downtown area. The 6 mile route will take you through downtown before heading to Mozart Street where you will ascend a 1 mile, 200 foot vertical hill with minor grade breaks before you descend on Tell Street, followed by a Main Street finish. Slickville 5k Coal Mine Climb & 2 Mile Fun Walk

Slickville, PA
Come join us during our 2025 Slickville Community Days celebration! The August 9th 5k race is a challenging backcountry route with several hills leading to the "coal mine climb" up the slate mound past the famous Slickville sign that overlooks the town. The 2-mile walk is a much gentler course through town for the first half and returning to the finish on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail where you can watch the runners in their attempt to reach the summit of the race.  Be sure to sign up early to guarantee receipt of an event sports shirt in your preferred size. After completing the run/walk, all participants will be treated to a complimentary pancake breakfast with locally sourced genuine maple syrup courtesy of the Slickville Community Church and Maple Lodge. Registration is open on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM.  The run/walk begins at 8:30 AM.  An awards ceremony will follow around 9:30 but feel free to stay or come back later to check out the other events including a car

Blueberry Hill 5K & Newberry Fun Run

This challenging course covers 30 kilometers (18.6 miles), from Ferry Road Park in North Bend through Coos Bay’s waterfront finishing back at Ferry Road Park. Run/walk the whole thing yourself or form a 3-person team and make it a run or walk-cheer-athon.  The first leg is relatively flat, the second is moderately rolling, and the third is for your hill lover!  Note, prices listed are for the entire team. Aid stations close at noon and the finish line closes at 1:00 PM, so plan to finish the walk in 6 1/2 hours, the run in 5 hours. Water will be available at the exchanges, approximately every 6 miles. Brookline Breeze 5K Run & Fitness Walk

The Brookline Breeze is a challenging 5K fitness run/walk on the rolling hills of Brookline, a neighborhood located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 5K course takes runners and walkers from Brookline Memorial Park to the city border with Dormont and back again. The 3.1 mile route follows Brookline Boulevard to Pioneer Avenue, then turns left and proceeds to a turn-around near West Liberty Avenue, then back again. Breeze Day fun begins at 7:30am with packet pickup and pre-race registrations. The first event of the morning is the One-Mile Mini-Breeze for the young ones, followed by the One-mile Dog Walk. The Mini-Breeze course is laid out around the perimeter of Brookline Memorial Park. Then, at 9:00am, it's time for the main event, the 5K run/walk.
