The annual Marland Heights Classic takes place on Friday, August 14th, 2026, at Marland Heights Park. A 5K Run, 2-Mile Walk and Kids Fun Run is available for participants. Registration for all events includes a t-shirt. Race day registration and pick-up begin at 5:30pm. The Kids Fun Run will begin at approximately 6:30pm.  Different age categories will run in separate races. The 5K Run & 2-Mile Walk begin at 7:00pm. A first of its kind half marathon in the quad city areas of Northern Minnesota's Iron Range. The race will start with participants meeting at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minnesota the morning of August 15th. Enjoy a late summer, early evening race through Delaware, Ohio’s historic Northwest neighborhood. Our one-mile course starts at the top of Lincoln Avenue near the Delaware Hayes High School tennis courts. Runners will follow a straight course through a beautiful neighborhood lined with cheering spectators. The last half mile is downhill, with the race finishing in Mingo Park. Join us for the second annual Telemark Sprint Triathlon in Cable, Wisconsin on the morning of Saturday, August 15th, 2026. There will be a 750 meter swim in beautiful Perry Lake, twelve mile bike ride through a scenic route around Takodah Lake, and a 5 K run around the Telemark property. The race will finish at the future home of the Telemark Activity Center, an aquatic and fitness facility being planned by the Telemark Northwoods Community Foundation, who is raising funds for the project with this event. Racers will start their swim at 9:15 a.m. (ages 49 and below), 9:18 a.m. (50 to 69) and 9:21 a.m. (70 and up).    Date: Saturday, August 15th, 2026.  Events: Sprint Triathlon (regular and relay, starting with swim). Our church building is 100 years old this year in 2026 and we are fundraising for various repairs and updates.  Please come and join our a-mazingly corny event! The FCA "Stay the Course" 5K & 1-Mile takes place on Saturday, August 15th, 2026. The event takes place at First Christian Church in Salem.  The address is:  1151 E. 6th Street, Salem, Ohio 44460. The 1-Mile begins at 8:15am and the 5K begins at 8:30am.   Registration includes a commemorative finisher medal, participant shirt and chip-timed bib number. Both races are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

HALF MARATHON:The Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon begins at 8:00 a.m. (Wheelchair division 7:50 a.m.) in downtown Parkersburg and is the RRCA WV State Championship. The rolling course will take you out of the city and into the scenic surroundings of West Virginia before looping back into the commercial area. You will finish the race to the cheers of thousands of spectators lined up on Market Street prior to the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Parade.   All participants in the Half Marathon will get a tech shirt, pre-race pasta dinner, finishers medal, & post-race pizza luncheon.   TWO MILE RACE:Starting line is at Third and Juliana streets at the Towne Square Parking Garage and the finish line is at Sixth and Market streets. The Sun Prairie Community 5K is an annual event, this year, held at Token Springs Elementary in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, featuring a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run. The race course follows an out and back route along the bike paths in The Reserve neighborhood, offering participants a fun experience. Proceeds from the event support the Sun Prairie West Cross Country Team, funding college scholarships, awards, uniforms, supplies, and transportation to practices and competitions.
