Dragon Fly Triathlon & AquaBike will host the Mississippi Age Group and High school State Championship  State championships will have the following qualification criteria for Age Group Nationals:  State championships will qualify the top 35% or top five (5) finishers in an age group (whichever is greater). You may only qualify for Olympic-distance Nationals by placing in the Olympic-distance State Championship race or Sprint Nationals by placing in the sprint distance State Championship race. This is our 9th Annual Christmas themed fun family race!!!We love this event. Run the Pier Running Festival is a premier annual race experience set along the beautiful Manistee lakeshore, showcasing some of the most iconic scenery Northern Michigan has to offer. Participants will run out onto Manistee’s historic North Pier, circling the legendary lighthouse before heading back along the shoreline in one of four race options: 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or Full Marathon. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply taking in the views, this is a course you won’t forget. This year’s festival features 600 total finisher awards—so run strong and earn yours. The Turtle Trot Walk Run will start and finish at Whalen Park in the town of Louisville.  The race will start at 9 am with same day registration beginning at 7:30 am.  The park is located 1.5 miles west of the River Course at Louisville Landing Recreation on State Route 131.  The race course is a 3.4-mile flat, scenic route along the beautiful St. Lawrence River.  In-Law Brewing Company will provide a ticket for a free beer, to anyone of legal drinking age, who registers for the race.  Curran Renewable Energy will provide free T-shirts to the first 250 who register.  You must register by July 6th to guarantee your t-shirt size choice. Medals will be awarded to 1st place male and female winners in each of the following age groups:  15 and under, 16-29, 30+39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+   The Turtle Trot is a great family event.  There will be door prizes, raffle and auction tents and a bounce house.

The Chesapeake Bay Paddle benefits the Chesapeake Conservancy’s efforts to designate the Chesapeake Bay as a National Park, WaterKeepers Chesapeake to help keep the waters and rivers of the Bay healthy and Oyster Recovery Partnership’s work to plant 10 billion oysters in the Bay. 100% of the race registration amount is tax deductible as a charitable donation. First Responders "Bring in the Backup" Triathlon represents all branches of the Military, Firefighters, Nurses, EMS, Dispatchers, Corrections, and Law Enforcement. The First Responders will lead off the race, followed by all other race participants as 'backup' to support the First Responders. Celebrate the Midsummer Festival in historic Old Lyme Village with this family friendly event benefitting the Lymes' Youth Service Bureau (LYSB).The Midsummer 5K Run features a scenic road race, a 5K Run & Walk, and a Kids K. The Milbridge Days 5K and Fun Run return for the annual Milbridge Days Celebration in beautiful Downeast Maine. This 3.1-mile wheel-measured course starts on the corner of Fickett's Point Road and Bay View Road. It is an out-and-back trip down Fickett's Point Road overlooking Narraguagas Bay. The Kid's Fun Run is one mile—1/2 mile up Fickett’s Point Road and back. Join us and beat the heat this summer at our Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics. This event is presented by the Leawood Police Department, a participating agency in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas, and features a fast course through the streets of Leawood. Your participation will help raise money for Special Olympics and finishers in both the 5K and 10K Run/Walk will receive a custom finishers medal! Due to limitations on road closures, the 10K is a run only event with a one hour and 15 minute time limit.  Please don't choose the 10K if you are not able to meet the 10K limit as the roads will be reopened.

This is the 19th year for the United Way of McPherson County Triathlon, held at McPherson Water Park and Lakeside Park in McPherson, Kansas.  Nicknamed by one racer as "The Fastest Short Course in Kansas," the United Way Triathlon starts with a 200-meter swim, followed by a 7-mile bike and finishing with a 2-mile run.   There is also a Junior Triathlon for youth with a 100-meter swim, 1 mile bike, and 1-mile run.    Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26th, 2026.

Nordic fest is an annual 3-day summer festival held in Decorah, Iowa that celebrates community and the area’s Scandinavian heritage.  Started in 1967, Nordic fest is organized by a board of volunteers and offers food, activities and entertainment for the whole family.  The Elveløpet is held on the Saturday morning of Nordic Fest weekend.  Hailed as Decorah’s “river run” race course along the Upper Iowa river and surrounding area.  This family fun event highlights the natural beauty that Decorah has to offer.

The 2026 Louisiana Watermelon Festival 5k event offers a great challenge to local runners and walkers. This course is a fast first mile downhill followed by what we like to affectionately call Watermelon Mountain at mile 2. This year, proceeds from the event will go to Willpower Foundation, Inc. This is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers in Northeast Louisiana that host events to race money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
