Join us for this year's annual Chalk the Block 5K Race in conjunction with our beautiful art festival. The race will take place on Sunday July 27th at 9am. The starting line will be at the Union Street playground and the finish line will be on W Main St in front of Great Day Juice.

The 2026 Annual Meeting will be held in Fayetteville, WV. We will meet at Fayetteville Town Park for a group run. Then go the Ascend WV Cooperative Work Building for the meeting and lunch. This is a WVMTR Club Event that has no registration fee, but participants must register so there is an e-signed waiver and emergency information available. Members and non-members are welcome! The Great Lake Plunge is Evanston's only open water swimming event. The swim consists of three events: 4K, 2K, 1K. This is a not-for-profit event which provides grants to support local water safety training and awareness This is a unique, family friendly event that will leave an impression for years to come. Swimmers will start at the southwest corner and be directed clockwise, first heading northwest, then turning northeast before returning southeast and finally southwest, back to the starting area. The Mini Mountain Challenge goes down this July 26, 2026 at Sunday River. Five hundred of the toughest and gnarliest kiddos from ages 4-12 take to the mountain obstacle course. The Mini Mountain Challenge is a scaled-down version of the Tough Mountain Challenge designed for kids ages 4 to 12 that's all about having fun and getting dirty. Kids can expect a short course that includes uphill and downhill running, dirt, mud, fun obstacles, snow guns, ball pits, foam finishes and even a few of the adult obstacles. Mini Mountain is organized into heats broken down by age group. Course length and obstacles will vary by these age group, and everything is located in the same venue as the full Tough Mountain event.

45th Annual Country Run over the scenic rolling hills of Yorkville. Dearborn County's oldest road race! Out and back 5k course (3.1 miles) over asphalt road from St. Martin's Church with some small hills. Split times will be given at each mile. Modern restroom facilities will be available in the parish hall before and after the race. Water will be available at the start finish line and during the race. Stick around for a delicious fried chicken dinner! Signs mark the kilometers and miles.

EVENT INFORMATION: The Parade 5k race runs the Elkhart County Fair Parade route with thousands of spectators.  Temperatures are usually very warm.  Be sure to hydrate the day before and morning of the race if hot temperatures are forecast.  We recommend that all competitors have trained prior to this run and are able to complete the 5K in 50 minutes or less.  The Parade will follow the last runner on the route, which is why we need competitors to finish in a timely manor.  Respectfully, this event is not intended for casual walkers or anyone that will have difficulty finishing the course. Running with strollers is acceptable, but please no pets.  Costumes are also always fun to see! Welcome. We are so excited that you are planning on joining us for a three-day Montana cycling celebration of community, conservancy and nature. The Last Best Ride is a gravel race (or ride to some) originated in the Summer of 2021 where local professional cyclists Jess Cerra and Sam Boardman dreamed of creating a local Montana gravel race where the big sky's of Montana were showcased while featuring some of the best gravel riding in the lower 48.  The Last Best Ride is now in its sixth edition and we are excited that it will be lead under the new race director Brian Grubb.  Brian is a cyclist, father, lawyer, local Whitefish community member and enthusiast who is bringing a new vision to TLBR. Brian and his board are all local to Whitefish and looking to create a weekend filled with friendship, community support, a little bit of suffering and lots of celebration.  In it's sixth year the race will continue to be the only supporter of the Barbara Mansfield Champion Scholar Award

This festival was formerly know as The Pig Gig.  After the previous promoter retired 11 years ago we decided to bring it back in 2022.  We are bringing the 5K run/ walk back!  Last year we had a great turn out for our 2nd year of bringing back the race after several people asking.  Race participants will receive a day pass to enjoy the festival for the entire day (only valid Sunday July 27, 2025). Entry to the race you will get a t shirt &  a day pass to the festival the day of the event, which there will be a concert that evening and local bands in the beverage tent.   Medals will be given out to the top 2 in each age division for runners & top 2 overall in walkers.

Millersburg Food Run 10K, 5K & 1 mile Ready, set, go! The Millersburg Food Run is scheduled for Sunday, July 26th at 8:00 am! The Millersburg Food Run 10K, 5K & 1-mile is the Millersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church’s contribution to help meet the needs of some Holmes County families.  The profit from the race will be donated to the Love Center Food Pantry. The Love Center Food Pantry has been servicing the needs of Holmes County since 1986.  Nearly 1000 families utilize the food pantry and it has processed over 660,000 lbs of food a year.  This Christian ministry is supported by businesses and congregations throughout Holmes County. There will be competitive, professionally timed, 5K and 10K courses and a non-competitive 1-mile course.  Runners, joggers, walkers, all are welcome! The first year of the World Championship Pack Burro Race in 1949 saw 21 entrants with only 8 finishing the race. These days there are nearly 100 racers and burros that take on this historic challenge. Some choose the “lower altitude” short course of approximately 12.3 miles while others take on the long course and attempt the grueling climb to the top of Mosquito Pass and back, 29+ miles and an elevation change of 3,232'! The racers start at 9,953 feet in Fairplay with long course runners hitting their halfway point at the top of Mosquito Pass, elevation 13,185'! Dirt Days Trail Series - East Fork SP Trail Run Sunday, July 26, 2026 8:30 am  East Fork State Park, Bethel, OH The East Fork SP Trail Run is where the Dirt Days Trail Series all began. As the name states, the race will take place on the well-established Backpack Trail, at East Fork Lake State Park. The 5.6 mile course is densely wooded, and might give runners the feeling that they are on the Appalachian Trail. The course reverses direction each year. Note: Previously, this race was called the Backpack Trail Run but there was some confusion as to whether you had to wear a backpack for the race.  All registration will be done online including on race day.  We have added a "Trekker" category for those who would like to do the 10+ mile course but need extra time to finish. Please join us on Sunday, July 26th, at the Westerville Sports Complex (325 N Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43082) to support cancer patients, survivors, and to raise awareness of cancer prevention. The morning will be filled with activities for the entire family. The welcome and a tribute to cancer patients and survivors will begin around 8:30 followed by the pre-race warm up and the KIDS DASH. The 5K will begin at approximately 9AM.  The KIDS DASH will provide 10 and under superstars with a race tailored just for them! All participants will receive a fun prize and a few surprises too!

The 2026 Run With The Deer Flies 25K, 15K, and 8K will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026.  Three distances to choose from, including the 8K that was added last year.  This proved to be a popular addition for new trail runners as well as those who would like a shorter distance.   We are looking forward to returning to Camp Seph Mack near Penn Run, PA and hope to see you there.  The Deer Fly is directed by trail runners for trail runners. The Deer Fly is a fun and challenging trail race with a mix of single-track trails, pipeline roads, swamps, hills, and creek crossings.  Aid stations approximately every four miles, but carrying water is strongly recommended.  Post-race Bona's Pizza compliments of Steve Pagano.
