The 39th Annual The Ben to The Shore Bike Tour on Sunday, July 26th, 2026 is a charity bike ride that raises money to provide necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders and cultivate positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve. There are 3 route options available: the full 65-mile route from Philadelphia to Atlantic City; the 30-mile route from Hammonton, NJ to Atlantic City; and the 10-mile route from Galloway, NJ to Atlantic City.  Upon arrival at the finish line at the Showboat Hotel, riders are greeted by friends and family, volunteers and supporters where we celebrate their amazing physical accomplishment and raise additional funds at our legendary after party.

The 2026 Run With The Deer Flies 25K, 15K, and 8K will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026.  Three distances to choose from, including the 8K that was added last year.  This proved to be a popular addition for new trail runners as well as those who would like a shorter distance.   We are looking forward to returning to Camp Seph Mack near Penn Run, PA and hope to see you there.  The Deer Fly is directed by trail runners for trail runners. The Deer Fly is a fun and challenging trail race with a mix of single-track trails, pipeline roads, swamps, hills, and creek crossings.  Aid stations approximately every four miles, but carrying water is strongly recommended.  Post-race Bona's Pizza compliments of Steve Pagano. (Unfortunately, our course and our fair does not allow dogs. And, according to my children, it's way too bumpy for the stroller!) This is a sprint Triathlon with a 500 yard pool swim, 12 mile bike and a 5 km (3.1 mile) run in the coastal California town of Crescent City.  The swim is in the City's pool, with a bike course along the Pacific Ocean and a run by the Beach Front Park and the harbor.

The Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon is located approximately 2 miles off Route 5 near West Hill Golf Course at the Intersection of Ike Dixon Road between Sand Road and Gillie Brook Road.  The swim is 1/2 mile (2 loops) in a natural, spring fed Gillie Lake, a relatively flat 15 mile bike course and a spectator friendly 5k run to round out the course.  This is a great event for all women - first time racers, seasoned triathletes and relay teams.  Come join the 13th Annual Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon, it's a spectator friendly course, and family atmosphere. The 2024 edition will include the sprint triathlon (individual and relay) and Aquabike (swim, bike). This race category is popular with those not ready to run the 5k stance for whatever reason. Racers will swim and ride the same courses as those in the triathlon, but when you are done biking, you are finished with the race. The 2026 Annual Meeting will be held in Fayetteville, WV. We will meet at Fayetteville Town Park for a group run. Then go the Ascend WV Cooperative Work Building for the meeting and lunch. This is a WVMTR Club Event that has no registration fee, but participants must register so there is an e-signed waiver and emergency information available. Members and non-members are welcome! The Mini Mountain Challenge goes down this July 26, 2026 at Sunday River. Five hundred of the toughest and gnarliest kiddos from ages 4-12 take to the mountain obstacle course. The Mini Mountain Challenge is a scaled-down version of the Tough Mountain Challenge designed for kids ages 4 to 12 that's all about having fun and getting dirty. Kids can expect a short course that includes uphill and downhill running, dirt, mud, fun obstacles, snow guns, ball pits, foam finishes and even a few of the adult obstacles. Mini Mountain is organized into heats broken down by age group. Course length and obstacles will vary by these age group, and everything is located in the same venue as the full Tough Mountain event.

The Great Lake Plunge is Evanston's only open water swimming event. The swim consists of three events: 4K, 2K, 1K. This is a not-for-profit event which provides grants to support local water safety training and awareness This is a unique, family friendly event that will leave an impression for years to come. Visit our website for detailed information. The racecourse is a 1K GPS buoyed rectangle. Swimmers will start at the southwest corner and be directed clockwise, first heading northwest, then turning northeast before returning southeast and finally southwest, back to the starting area. Buoys will be placed at the corners and halfway points.   The 1K swimmers swim 1 loop, 2K swimmers 2 loops, and 4K swimmers 4 loops.

Millersburg Food Run 10K, 5K & 1 mile Ready, set, go! The Millersburg Food Run is scheduled for Sunday, July 26th at 8:00 am! The Millersburg Food Run 10K, 5K & 1-mile is the Millersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church’s contribution to help meet the needs of some Holmes County families.  The profit from the race will be donated to the Love Center Food Pantry. The Love Center Food Pantry has been servicing the needs of Holmes County since 1986.  Nearly 1000 families utilize the food pantry and it has processed over 660,000 lbs of food a year.  This Christian ministry is supported by businesses and congregations throughout Holmes County. There will be competitive, professionally timed, 5K and 10K courses and a non-competitive 1-mile course.  Runners, joggers, walkers, all are welcome! The Matt Mason “Cowboy UP!” Triathlon/Duathlon has been established to honor, pay tribute, support and celebrate the lives of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. This triathlon is our way to stay close to our dear friend, Matt Mason, and keep his memory alive while focusing on supporting others like him and their families. Race Distances: Short Course Distance Duathlon is a 1.5 mile run (shotgun start), 11 mile bike course (2 laps), and a 5K run (mostly flat, out and back course). Welcome. We are so excited that you are planning on joining us for a three-day Montana cycling celebration of community, conservancy and nature. The Last Best Ride is a gravel race (or ride to some) originated in the Summer of 2021 where local professional cyclists Jess Cerra and Sam Boardman dreamed of creating a local Montana gravel race where the big sky's of Montana were showcased while featuring some of the best gravel riding in the lower 48.  The Last Best Ride is now in its sixth edition and we are excited that it will be lead under the new race director Brian Grubb.  Brian is a cyclist, father, lawyer, local Whitefish community member and enthusiast who is bringing a new vision to TLBR. Brian and his board are all local to Whitefish and looking to create a weekend filled with friendship, community support, a little bit of suffering and lots of celebration.  In it's sixth year the race will continue to be the only supporter of the Barbara Mansfield Champion Scholar Award

EVENT INFORMATION: The Parade 5k race runs the Elkhart County Fair Parade route with thousands of spectators.  Temperatures are usually very warm.  Be sure to hydrate the day before and morning of the race if hot temperatures are forecast.  We recommend that all competitors have trained prior to this run and are able to complete the 5K in 50 minutes or less.  The Parade will follow the last runner on the route, which is why we need competitors to finish in a timely manor.  Respectfully, this event is not intended for casual walkers or anyone that will have difficulty finishing the course. Running with strollers is acceptable, but please no pets.  Costumes are also always fun to see! 45th Annual Country Run over the scenic rolling hills of Yorkville. Dearborn County's oldest road race! Out and back 5k course (3.1 miles) over asphalt road from St. Martin's Church with some small hills. Split times will be given at each mile. Modern restroom facilities will be available in the parish hall before and after the race. Water will be available at the start finish line and during the race. Stick around for a delicious fried chicken dinner! Signs mark the kilometers and miles.
