The theme for 2025 will be Popeye and Olive Oil's 5K to support the North Webster Food Pantry so wear your favorite Popeye or Olive Oil costumes for prizes. More competitive athletes, don't worry, this race is professionally timed and prizes will be given in the following age groups: 2-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for both male and female. As a fixture in the Indianapolis running community, this 5K is run on a fast and flat course surrounding Franklin Central High School. Come join us for the nicest day in small town Indiana! Flat out and back course. The annual Valley of Hartford 5K Road Race raises funds to support the Children's Dyslexia Centers of Connecticut. Celebrate the Midsummer Festival in historic Old Lyme Village with this family friendly event benefitting the Lymes' Youth Service Bureau (LYSB).The Midsummer 5K Run features a scenic road race, a 5K Run & Walk, and a Kids K. Texas Heat is on the top this year! Do you dare to challenge it at the Caliente Off Road 5K? This race is part of the Centex Race Series. We are featuring a new course! The run will be a cross country style off road course throughout Long Branch Park. All runners will receive points. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. The 7/20 Foundation is proud to present the 5th annual Hero’s Journey 5k Run/Walk. This race makes its way through Aurora's City Center and the High Line canal trail with a start and finish in the 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden. For those over 21, this race includes admission into the 7/20 Foundation's annual beer festival.      The Hero's Journey represents any person who faces a challenge, encounters struggles to overcome it, and returns home a Hero. We hope this 5k is a transformative experience as you run/walk together; whether you are a veteran runner or this is your first 5k. We chose to start the run across from the theater and end in the 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden as your return home/finish line to honor the journey from tragedy to hope. It is the perfect place for each of us to honor and celebrate our collective accomplishment as well as our heroes from the July 20, 2012 tragedy.   Proceeds raised through the event will go toward the Zack Golditch Opportunity
