High Uinta Half Marathon is a fast race above Kamas/Francis area.  We reluctantly use the term Drop13 because of what it represents.  Drop13 represents a course that is extremely fast downhill.  This course is 99% decline for 13.1 Miles.  2600 feet of decline with very little incline or even flat portions.  This course is not just fast but beautiful.  Aspens, pines, rivers, are throughout the route.  This route starts at one of the highest elevations in Utah for races.  Last year July 4, the starting point still had snow all around.  This is a great course to get out of the heat and enjoy more of a Spring race in the heart of summer.

The Lake Lucerne Advancement Association Community Support Committee’s Third Annual 5K-ish Run/Walk will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025.  This year's charity, Crandon Area Rescue, is a non-profit squad that serves approximately 435 square miles, including Argonne, Crandon, Hiles, Lincoln, Nashville townships, and the City of Crandon. With four ambulances and around 20 active responders, they provide essential emergency care when needed. There is no registration fee, however a suggested donation amount of $35 requested per racer.  If you would prefer to donate a different amount, you are welcome to do so. ~~~~~ Over the past three years, this event has raised over $10,500 in direct donations from the race! The event supports our fund raising efforts to expand the current Mercer bike trail from Carow Park along Hwy J to WinMan Trails ultimately completing a 26 mile loop of Mercer and Manitowish Waters as part of the Heart of Vilas County trail system. In previous years this ride was known as Lupine Junefest. The volunteers who created and supported that ride did a wonderful job of building the foundation for the trail expansion project. Welcome to the Sportsplex Tri for Kids & Small Fry Tri!We’re excited to celebrate 15 years of getting kids moving, challenging themselves, and having fun! The Sportsplex Tri for Kids is a USAT-sanctioned triathlon for ages 5–15, featuring age-appropriate swim, bike, and run distances. Athletes will compete in the age group they are in as of December 31, 2027. A USAT membership is required, and a one-day membership can be purchased during registration. Our Small Fry Tri is a fun, non-competitive event designed especially for our littlest athletes, ages 2–5. Kids will slide down the splash park water slide, ride anything with wheels they choose, and then make their way to the finish line for an exciting run through the finish arch! Whether this is your child’s first triathlon or another year of racing with us, we can’t wait to welcome your young athlete and celebrate with your family!

Race Through the Trees In Montour Experience a unique running adventure through Montour Wildlife State Park, where history meets nature. This scenic 5K course winds through the grounds of a once-thriving town, now reclaimed as a wildlife habitat. As you run, you'll be immersed by the river wildlife and forest that is has been mostly forgotten. Off the beaten path, the Sunken City Trail follows dirt and asphalt roads will little to no traffic. Join us for our 2nd Annual 5k on the hills of the Heucks Retreat community! Runners and walkers will start and finish at Heucks Retreat Baptist Church.
