If you are new to our Series of Wednesday night fun, welcome!! This is a race series for EVERYONE! As long as you have a bicycle worthy of being ridden on dirt, and can pedal it, you can do this! If you are a pro, it’s great for training. If you are new to Mountain Biking and/or Riverside State Park, it’s a great way to learn the trails and make new friends. We use the term “race” loosely. We are all about fun and keeping it simple! Come out on Wednesday Nights and ride your bike. Pedal as hard as you want or casually if you want. About Kathy's Run for Cancer: Kathy was diagnosed over the Memorial Day Weekend in 2023 with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.  While there is no cure for this disease it is very treatable. Kathy has undergone multiple radiation and chemotherapy treatments.  After twelve weeks she’s had a great response to the treatment and is now only getting immunotherapy infusions every three weeks. Kathy is a fighter, and her great attitude has been instrumental to her positive results. By supporting our local cancer centers and education Kathy feels this turns a difficult situation into something very positive.  The opportunity to revamp this race came at the right time as the committee for the Rose Run decided to step away.  Kathy has gotten incredible care at the Bronson Cancer Center along with the West M

Gnadenhutten has one of the finest fireworks displays for such a small community. Mostly flat with one “minor” hill course through historical Gnadenhutten.  Strollers and pets on a leash welcomed! The festival will be held downtown Gnadenhutten and the race will start and end at the Masonic Temple Lodge located at 112 S. Walnut St.

Welcome to the first Red, White & Blue Race! This event benefits Code 3 Mind Health, Inc.  We are a local non-profit that provides mental health wellness checks for first responders.   This course is along the scenic coastal trail in Fort Bragg California.  The event begins at the south coastal trail (Noyo Headlands Park) and continues north with the 5k turnaround being near the compass rose.  If you participate in the 10k run, you will continue north past historic Glass Beach, and across the Pudding Creek Trestle onto the historic Mackerricher Haul Road with the turn around being near the "silver gate" entrance.  For the half-marathon participants, the course continues along the Haul Road, through Mackerricher State Park and turning around just before the entrance to Ten Mile State Preserve.  This course is ocean front, with epic views every step of the way!  For those of you that have participated in races in this area before, it will look very much like the Whale Run cou

The 40th annual FREEDOM SPRINGS TRIATHLON  will be held at the beautiful Blue Springs Recreation Park, 5461 Blue Springs Road in Marianna, Florida on July 4th, 2026.   This is a sprint triathlon: 400 meter swim, 10 mile bike, and 5K run. This race is great for first-time triathletes, beginners and 'all-kinds-of-bikes" riders.  SWIM (0.25 mile/ 400 meters) takes place in spring water (68F, wetsuits are allowed). BIKE (10 miles) is a fast, fun, out and back ride. RUN (5K = 3.1mile) starts on a road and leads onto a fun, clay road.   The race sells out and registration may close earlier than expected. A 4th of July weekend tradition in Marquette County, the Yankee Doodle DASH is a race you won't want to miss! The Gene Bednarowski Memorial Run has traditionally been run on the 4th of July weekend, and this year is no exception to that rule. We are actually running on July 4th this year.   The event is in memory of Gene Bednarowski, a former Watervliet mentor, teacher, and coach. Proceeds support the Watervliet Track and Field Program. At one time in the history of this event, there was also a 10K race and we are hoping to bring that back this year as well, providing we can get the approval from the State of Michigan.  If the approval comes through, the race will be run through neighborhood streets, along the scenic Paw Paw Lake and through the city of Watervliet.   We are also happy to be partnering with the Fruitbelt Run Series again.  This race can now count towards the completion of Fruitbelt series, which allows competitors to run a series of 5 races which will result in a series medal.  This year's prize is a special medal commemorating the 20th year. Join us for Whitefish's newest race, the Firecracker RUN 406.  The event is produced by the event management group that stages the Whitefish Marathon so if you have run Whitefish, or have read of the marathon's reviews, you know what kind of event to expect. The Thousand Island Park 5K, or TIP5K, is a memorial footrace to honor the memory of General TJ "Demon" Costello, who served as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. This race started at a family reunion in 2013 and has grown to include the local community of TI Park. It's a small, family-oriented race that welcomes all levels of participation. Walkers and strollers are welcomed! Although, be advised that the course covers dirt roads, grassy lawns, and one trail. Also, the route will be poorly marked, open to traffic, and the timing crew will consist of a couple of teenagers with an iPhone. No timing chips here! So, your official time will likely be wrong, if it's recorded at all. However, I can guarantee a great scenic run, good times and camaraderie, and maybe a cold drink or two at the finish line.
