Races

Our running event courses traverse the world-famous Copper River delta, a land of mountains, glaciers, and blue water rivers and lakes. For each distance event (except the One Mile), runners meet at race HQ and are driven on shuttle buses to the start line for their race.  The race courses are mostly flat (we're at sea level), and follow the old Copper River and Northwestern Railroad route which led to the Kennicott copper mines. We also offer a post-run Salmon BBQ lunch, get your tickets here! Lunch includes salmon, side dishes, dessert and door prizes. We'll announce race winners and distribute medals for the top three women and men finishers for each event here (at the Pioneer Igloo on First Street). The Audi Power of Four Trail Run offers runners a scenic mix of trails across the mountains of Aspen Snowmass. Registrants can choose between the 3 distances offered including 50K, 25K & 10K.

Three 5K's + One Day = The Melt Down!  This challenging event is in it's 11th year.  Three consecutive 5K's at 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  Do one, two or all three races!  You can decide that day!  Races must be done in order (so no fresh runners in race #2 or race #3). If participants are just doing one race it has to be the 8:00 a.m. race.  Races must be finished in 1 hour to allow for the start of the next race.  Course is on a beautiful wide, smooth, paved trail through two parks and crosses a historical bridge!  Indoor restrooms and a fun, free splash pad and playground for the kiddos located right next to the start/finish.   Everyone who finishes the first race races receives a custom MELT DOWN medal.  Fun HOT, summer themed t-shirts!  Awards for top three male/female and top 3 in age groups in the FIRST race only.  Also award for the top male and female best COMBINED times of all three races.

Start your morning the Alma way — with a little fresh mountain air, some movement, and a big stack of pancakes. Join us for the Firefighter 5K, a laid-back community run where everyone is welcome. Bring your kids, your dog, your friends — run, jog, walk, or just saunter your way through beautiful Alma. This event is all about getting outside, having fun, and kicking off the day together. After the run, head over to the NW Fire Protection District Fire Station for a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by IAFF Union Local 5227. Mountain bike riders, trail runners and wheelchair athletes will take on the technical dirt trails of Franke Park during the heat of the summer in the Hot Summer Singletrack. Mountain bike riders can take on the six hour challenge or settle for a more reasonable three hour ride on a seven-mile loop of the technical dirt trails of Franke Park.  Wheelchair athletes can choose to follow a challenging course of paved path and gravel road for either three or six hours. It's back!   Women of all ages* are invited to participate in the Charlottesville Track Club (CTC) Women's Four Miler Training Program.    For the second year in a row, this program is proudly presented by Women in Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness and sponsored by CTC and Women in Motion. Women in Motion is a specialty rehab clinic that provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and IBCLC lactation services. They have specializations in orthopedics, obstetrics, pelvic health, oncology, and breast health, treating all genders through all phases of life. In addition to sponsoring the Women's Four Miler training program, they are also actively involved in national post-professional education and medical mission trips and are committed to doing monthly community outreach in central Virginia!    The Women in Motion team is honored to lead this training program on a volunteer basis, with 100% of the net proceeds from registration going to the UVA Breast Care Center!

The 18th Annual Barnes Drug Store 5K Fun Run & Splash Dash will take place on July 18, 2026 at 200 South Patterson St. Valdosta, GA 31601.    All proceeds and donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000, and all funds raised and matched will benefit Sandy's House, a local organization that holds a 12 month residential faith based program. They are located in Valdosta, Georgia, and the program is set up for women ages 18 and older who are suffering from addiction. They opened their doors on March 21, 2022 and have served women broken from alcohol and drug addiction by providing housing, education, and spiritual training to enable women to rediscover who they are in Christ. Since 2009, Barnes Drug Store has raised and donated over $1 Million for our community through our annual 5k event. 2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Olympia Lakefair Races, which include the Jerry Miller Half Marathon, an 8K and a 3K including free entry for Kids 14 and under; taking runners on routes that circle around the town of Olympia and beyond into Tumwater and Thurston County. Both the 3K and 8K start and finish on 5th Avenue in front of Heritage Park.  They both circle Capitol Lake, with the 8K continuing into Tumwater Historical Park before returning. Both are flat and fast courses.  The Jerry Miller Half Marathon heads briefly through downtown Olympia, then along the Woodland Trial and Chehalis Western Trail biking paths.  The course continues on rural streets and a short trail and tour of Squaxin Park before heading back along East Bay Drive and running through downtown Olympia to the finish line in front of Heritage Park.  Runners will enjoy tree-lined trails and scenic landscapes while enjoying flat and narrow paved trails throughout. This is a family friendly 5K Run/Walk event in honor of Ryan French. Ryan was a resident of Thompson and a student in the Ag-Ed Program at Killingly High School. Ryan was also an avid runner on the KHS Cross Country and Track Teams. The proceeds from this race will be going into the Ryan French Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides Scholarships to well deserving Killingly Ag-Ed Seniors going onto higher education. The race course uses off-road paths that may have exposed rocks and roots which could be a trip hazard to participants. The Gravel Unravel Experience Gravel Unravel is an endurance gravel bicycling series on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State This series is brought to you by a partnership between Peninsula Adventure Sports and La Vogue Cyclery  This event is designed for those who wish to challenge their physical abilities to the maximum while enjoying the lushness of Olympic National Forest. Participants can ride short (25-35 miles), medium (45-55 miles), or long (65-80 miles) distances on majority gravel courses (percent varies by race/distance) while enjoying towering evergreens and vivid green moss and ferns. WOLF RUN SERIES This year we feature the RUNNING WOLF route, so if you missed it the first time around, now's your chance to complete this course as part of your Wolf Trifecta Series. The route this year will start in the Little Belt Mountains, this is a mostly downhill course for 9 miles where it then veers right to add a couple challenging climbs before the finish. To complete the Wolf Trifecta Series you must eventually finish all three courses (Running Wolf, Dry Wolf and Big Bad Wolf), either running or biking. These do not have to be completed in consecutive years.  Once all three races are in the books, not only will you have bragging rights, but you'll be rewarded with a Wolf Trifecta Series T-shirt and hand-made medal! The Roundtown Classic is an annual fundraising event for the Circleville High School Alumni Association. Established in 2005, this organization promotes activities of the Circleville City Schools including scholarships. CHS Alumni is a not-for-profit 501 C3 organization.
