The theme for our race is "Run to Remember" We invite participants to run in memory of or in honor of loved ones. So gather a group of friends and family, get matching t-shirts and honor a loved one, while promoting your own health and wellness.

This locale is more reminiscent of the western United States than central Texas. Sign up for the 19th annual Dr. Bender 5K Classic! This year's race again has in-person and virtual options for participation. Those who wish to participate in person can do so on the morning of Saturday, July 18th, at Canal Winchester High School. Race morning will consist of our traditionally fast and competitive 5K race, as well as separate Girls and Boys 1 Mile Fun Runs (suggested for ages 12 & under). A virtual 5K event will also be available for those who are not able or choose not to participate in the in-person race. As always, proceeds from registration and sponsorships from this year's event will directly benefit the boys and girls cross country teams at Canal Winchester High School.

HOW REGISTRATION WORKS The event is comprised of 24, 1-hour games in a row and is open to men's and women's teams of all ages and abilities. Every team that registers plays in at least one, 1-hour game and will be matched with an opposing team of similar age and abilities If you register as a dual-slot, your team will have the entire hour with no opposing team schedule, and choose how you wish to play for that hour. All games will be played at St. Charles Preparatory Academy- Walt Plank Field
