The Lake T Sprint Series has been the first race for many Iron Distance Triathletes. In its 25th year, this race continues to be the stepping stone for so many triathletes to get to the next level. Racks are first come, first serve, waves are male/female, and there is a relay division as well.  The 600 yard lake swim is followed by a 2 loop bike course with rolling hills. The 5K run is a beautiful course around the lake which has a few small inclines and downhill the last mile. We hope you will join us for this year's Reading Lions Journey for Sight 5K! The Reading Lions Club ("Club") and The Friends of Reading Recreation annually present a family-friendly 5K Road Race and 1 Mile Walk through central Reading.  All proceeds from the race are donated to the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund (MLERF), and other local sight-related charities supported by the Club. MLERF finances basic eye research at world renowned institutions such as the Mass. Eye and Ear right here in Boston. Over the years, the Club has donated over $350,000 from the proceeds of this race to MLERF, and we are excited to continue these efforts in conjunction with the Friends of Reading Recreation (FORR).

Come run in a local tradition!  Berna’s Great Legs 5k is a long established women-only race. Ride 3 of 3 in the Wheelie Good Cause series.  An easy, 10 mile ride through West Toledo, suitable for most ability levels.  Please note: this is an unsupported ride. The route will, at times, be on open roads with automobile traffic. Participants are expected to follow the rules of the road at all times. A nice, cold beverage from the brewery is included upon your return! For those under the age of 21, a non alcoholic beverage will be included. Please bring ID for ride check in. This ride supports the mission of The Wheelie Good Cause by funding life changing cancer research and treatment initiatives.

My Sister's Place will be the beneficiary of this event this year!  My Sister's Place is a Christ-centered shelter that restores hope for single women and mothers with children who are experiencing homelessness. Our program helps rebuild stability by providing a loving and welcoming environment, spiritual growth opportunities, community connections, and life skills training to support the journey to housing independence.   We raised $50,000 last year for Love Your Story! It is amazing to see the community come together to support a great cause. The High Lonesome 100 is a high flying endurance race in the Sawatch range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The Laurel Memorial Run/Walk - Celebrating people with Down syndrome & other developmental disabilities! The Laurel Memorial Run/Walk takes place the third weekend in July each year. WOLF RUN SERIES This year we feature the RUNNING WOLF route, so if you missed it the first time around, now's your chance to complete this course as part of your Wolf Trifecta Series. The route this year will start in the Little Belt Mountains, this is a mostly downhill course for 9 miles where it then veers right to add a couple challenging climbs before the finish. To complete the Wolf Trifecta Series you must eventually finish all three courses (Running Wolf, Dry Wolf and Big Bad Wolf), either running or biking. These do not have to be completed in consecutive years.  Once all three races are in the books, not only will you have bragging rights, but you'll be rewarded with a Wolf Trifecta Series T-shirt and hand-made medal!
