Race will start at 9 am at the Tionesta Lighthouse. The course will be 2 loops around the lighthouse path and out on the residential roads to the riverside cemetery and back to the lighthouse to finish. No pets in the race please. 5k run and 5k walk divisions. Walkers will start a couple minutes after the runners. Top 3 Overall in each and also top 1 in age groups for both run and walk.The age groups will be determined 2 weeks before the race on who signs up at that time. Refreshments after the race. Michael ‘Chippi’ Cawley Memorial Race

Michael aka "Chip" Cawley lived a life full of passion and perseverance. Whether it was fishing at every river and lake he came across, snowboarding with his buds, going on hikes, riding on his quad, or golfing with his poppy, he lived true to himself. Curious about the world, Michael strived to learn about various interests. He was a graduate of Valley  View High School and Marywood University with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. While at Valley View, he was a member of the wrestling and soccer teams. He was also trained by Greg Mancuso as a kickboxer at Northeast Karate. He never limited himself and always accomplished his dreams. Some of his many including excelling at his new job and buying a house. He saw people for who they were and treated everyone with kindness and humility. He loved all animals especially his boxer doggos. And so it starts - The Southeast Slosh! Join us for Ketchikan Running Club's Second Annual Trail Half Marathon on Saturday July 11th. The race will start and finish at Ward Lake and incorporate surrounding trails including Perseverance Lake Trail, Ward Creek Trail, Pipeline and Salvage. There will be 4 aide stations along the route.  All racers will have 5 hours to finish the race. (That is about a 21:30 minute mile - plenty of time for walkers!)  After the cut-off time, racers can finish the course, however aide station support and finish line celebration cannot be guaranteed.   Cost is $50 (+ processing fee), $45 for Ketchikan Running Club Members Individual runners, as well as relay teams (up to 4 runners in a team), are welcome to register.  Each team is responsible for determining where they will start and finish each leg of the relay. Wet Dog Triathlon at Point Mallard

Join us for the Wet Dog Triathlon at Point Mallard Park on July 11th, 2026 at 7:00 AM.  This year will launch a new era for Wet Dog as it becomes a Team Rocket Tri Club managed race.  Long time Race Director Leah Brown will still be very involved as we work together to make Wet Dog the very best open water sprint triathlon in North Alabama.  Wet Dog Triathlon at Point Mallard is a 400 meter open water swim, followed by a 15k bike ride and a 5k run along the beautiful (and FLAT) banks of the Tennessee River at Decatur, Alabama. Wet Dog is a fundraiser for Tennessee Valley Outreach, Morgan County Rescue Squad, and Princess Theater.  Wet Dog at Point Mallard is the second of three races that make up the Summer Sprint Series.  Heel & Crank Duathlon and the Huntsville Sprint Triathlon are the remaining event in the series.  Each participant who finishes will receive a series water bottle at no extra charge.  Race photos will be by We Run Race Photography. The Grin & Bear It is Crested Butte’s oldest trail challenge. Historically presented as a sprint to Green Lake and back, this classic event has evolved to offer a 25k Loop competition while still maintaining the traditional 15k race. New in 2025, the Grin and Bear it BIKE! This route will follow the 25k run route, excluding the .7 miles to Green Lake and back. This challenging route is roughly 14.83 miles with just under 4k feet of climbing.   Note- there is minimal swag and no podium awards for this event.

Wildcat Summer Cup - July 5K

Come out and better your 5k and brunch game with the Sunrise Social Club at the River Region Runners sponsored (R3) Wildcat Summer Cup in downtown MGM. Every second Sunday this summer at 7AM we’ll host a 5k at a unique location. Come for the race, stay for the BYOB potluck brunch. One payment of $20 buys you a bib for the entire series. That’s three 5ks for $20! The course will be marked and hand timed and very unofficial. Runners will be responsible for keeping their bibs throughout the summer and bringing them to race day. Welcome to the 3rd annual MTC Zilla Tri Sprint Triathlon WITH NEW EXPANDED YOUTH SHORT SPRINT AGE GROUPS! This triathlon is a great event for all ages, 10 and up, beginners and seasoned athletes. Event hosted by the Metro-Tri Club. Race begins in the beautiful Bolm-Schuhkraft Park in Columbia, Illinois. The SPRINT event, open to ages 14 and up, begins with a 300 meter serpentine swim in Columbia Bath and Tennis pool. The 11.2-mile bike course has mostly flat roads with one challenging hill, and railroad crossing (time not adjusted for stoppage at train track). The bike is non-draft legal. The 5K run course will take you through a neighborhood, onto the trail, and will have plenty of shade. The YOUTH SHORT SPRINT, open to ages 10-17 years, will begin with a 200 meter serpentine swim in Columbia Bath and Tennis pool. Join us at Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone, MD for the 22nd annual Rocky Gap Off-Road Triathlon, Duathlon, and Relay. The triathlon race course starts with a two lap swim in warm clear waters of a mountain lake and the duathlon starts with a 2.7 mile semi-technical trail run. After the first segment, all racers head out to complete two laps of a mountain bike course that includes twisty lakeside singletrack, wide fire roads, smooth grassy sections, and a few rock gardens. Once completing the mountain bike course, racers transition to a 5.5 mile run that has rooty trails, smooth open flats, and a few ups and downs (of course!). All in all, this course is super fun and has challenged thousands of newbies and seasoned vets over the years!

The 8th Annual Game On! Palm Beaches Triathlon will take place at beautiful Ocean Walk on Singer Island. Singer Island, an oceanfront neighborhood part of the City of Riviera Beach, offers a relaxing blend of natural beauty, seven miles of pristine beaches, and upscale hotels and resorts. This event will feature a Sprint Triathlon and a Sprint Duathlon with relay divisions. The quarter mile Atlantic Ocean swim (or 1 mile run) will be followed by a bike that will take you north, out and back on A1A, and then over the Blue Heron Bridge with views of Peanut Island and the Port of Palm Beach. The run also heads over the Blue Heron Bridge and through the historic Town of Palm Beach Shores, also known as the best little town in Florida. Start your race with camping the night before under the stars.  Traditional potluck dinner the night before with music, games and other shenanigans will take place before turning in.  A leisurely wake up time before starting the stellar trail race in the beautiful Mt Hood forest where you must FOLLOW THE ORANGE RIBBONS NOT THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU.  Be prepared to cross through streams, over streams, up steep terrain and down steep terrain while keeping an eye out where to go.  There is a lot of fun to be had and plenty to talk about when you return through the finish line.  Food will follow along with the beer garden.  This is one of the favorite XDog races that we are glad to welcome back.
