For runners wanting to take it up another notch, there will be the possibility to sign up as an ultra team, completing the whole course with a team of just 6 runners, or to sign up as a wild card team for teams with 3 to 10 runners. Parkersburg, WV
The race was started in 2011 by a local firefighter, Andy Nestor to provide free athletic shoes to local students in need.  The success of the program was overwhelming.  River City Runners and Walkers Club coordinate with local school nurses to identify children in need of quality athletic shoes but financially unable to get the shoes. The program is 100% free. Our mission is to motivate children to get outside and move, maybe join a sports team or just run and play.  We hope to change the image of West Virginia from an unhealthy, sedentary lifestyle to an active, healthy culture starting with our future - the children of WV and surrounding areas.  To date RCRW have given out hundreds of athletic shoes since 2011.  Help us continue this amazing program by supporting the K4K night race this year! Townsend, TN
Welcome to the 20th edition for the Tour de Rocky Top, the Knoxville area's largest cycling event. After 18 years at Barley's, Race Day Events is returning for the second year to Peaceful Side Social in Townsend. Reviews from the first edition at Peaceful Side were very positive, with the number one improvement being the route "approach" from Townsend instead of from downtown Knoxville. The same great Blount and Sevier Co roads are back again in 2026, along with the much improved post ride meal offered by Peaceful Side this past year. The 2026 TdRT has expanded yet again to include EIGHT route options. These will include a slightly revised 24 miler, along with moderate 42 and 50 mile options for those not comfortable riding the longer distances.  Those longer distances include a 62 and 77, both very similar to last year, along with a new 88 mile route that also avoids Butterfly Gap. The two Butterfly Gap options this year are 60 and 82 miles. Both Butterfly Gap route op

Hatchet Mid-Summer Mile

Tomahawk, WI
This event is born from years of competing in meets across the country and inspired by the strong tradition of distance-focused track events right here in Wisconsin. Our goal is simple (and slightly obsessive): to create a meet centered around the mile. Athletes of all ages and abilities are welcome, from K–12 runners to collegiates, pros, and masters. Events will range from a fun 400 meters for our youngest competitors to the featured one-mile race, covering just over four laps around Hatchet Field on a recently renovated track surface inside a completely updated stadium. Yes, it’s technically more than four laps. No, we didn’t do the math wrong. Welcome to track. While the competition is expected to be intense, the atmosphere will stay fun and relaxed. Expect fast races, loud cheers, questionable pacing decisions, and that unique mix of pain and joy only distance runners truly understand. The vibe will stay light, positive, and welcoming for athletes, spectators, and anyone who wander
