Considered a bucket-list race, the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner Midnight Sun Run 10K is a uniquely Alaskan race that attracts participants from all over the nation and all over the world. The race begins at 10:00 PM on the Saturday closest to the summer solstice. Starting at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus, participants wind 6.2 miles through area neighborhoods lined with thousands of high-spirited spectators. The course ends at Pioneer Park, where the festivities continue until well after midnight. The race is chip timed, with an elite runner corral that allows serious runners a place at the head of the race, while also supporting every pace and ability. The costumed division is perhaps one of the most anticipated aspects of the race, showcasing true Fairbanks creativity. Proceeds from the race support the mission of Fairbanks Resource Agency (fra-alaska.org) and the Paula Kothe Scholarship Award, which gives $6,000 in scholarships to local student athletes.

Celebrate the women and girls in your life in this family-friendly event to commemorate the achievements of Title IX, the landmark equality legislation signed by President Nixon fifty-three years ago. Bring your family, friends, sports teams and community groups to the NIXON 5K FOR TITLE IX and run (or walk) this moderate course following Yorba Linda’s El Cajon Trail. Athletes are encouraged to wear their favorite team gear supporting female sports! This is accessible for runners of all levels; strollers are welcome and dogs are allowed. Following the race, guests are invited to stop by the vendor fair in the Library parking lot!

Welcome to the Miles For Mayo 5K walk/run, a family-friendly event supporting local schools and running programs, representing the passion and values of Matías “Mayo” Rogers. In a short time, Matías ingrained himself in the local community as one of the best runners in Liberty High School history. He was also an honors AP student who lived the values of being kind, generous and helpful. The clockwise course follows Park Road and the trail system, creating a safe and enjoyable route for runners and walkers of all levels. French Lick Tri Kappa hosts it's 3rd annual fundraising 5K in memory of our sister Sharon Collier.  This race will follow trails between the beautiful, historic French Lick Springs Resort and West Baden Springs Hotels.  Sharon was a strong advocate for children and those with special needs held such a special place in her heart. The money raised from the 5K will be added to the fund in her memory to be used for special needs students in the Springs Valley community. Sharon also loved awarding academic scholarships through Tri Kappa to Springs Valley High School graduates so this fund will help award scholarships as well with emphasis onstudents pursuing degrees in special education. Tri Kappa is a statewide organization promoting culture, charity, and education in the communities we serve. The money raised for events like this goes right back into the community as scholarships, awards, and donations.

The purpose of this event is to raise money to assist with the processing and shipping costs of sending Christmas shoebox gifts to children in disadvantaged countries in partnership with Samaritan's Purse / Operation Christmas Child. The Raiders Rumble 5K is an activity to raise funds in support of the Fryeburg Academy Track and Field Programs as well as promote healthy living and an active lifestyle in our community and surrounding towns.  There will be awards! 1st and 2nd in each age division as well as 1st place overall for both Mens and Womens Divisions. The race begins at 8:00 am with the course that winds past historical African American landmarks in Madison and ends at Gaines Park. Early packet pickup and late sign up will be on Friday, June 19 THE MADISON VISITOR’S CENTER from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm. Packet pickup and sign up on race day, Saturday, June 20, will be on Broadway at the Garage entryway. Registration opens at 6:30 am and ends at 7:30 am. There will be a free Children’s fun run at 9:30 am.  All participants will receive a commemorative Juneteenth Medal. Awards will be given only to the 1st place Overall Male and Female Runner and the 1st place Overall Male and Female Walker.

The MD Band Wildcat 5K Run/Walk is a an event hosted by the Mater Dei Band Boosters Club to benefit the Mater Dei Marching Band.
