Come get “Fired Up” for first responders by participating in the 3rd annual 5k run/walk event during Old Settlers’ Days hosted by Lexington Volunteer Fire Department.   Join us for the 148th annual Old Settlers' Days parade and festival following the race.  Proceeds and donations benefit Lexington Volunteer Fire Department and its community.   Registration fees: includes a t-shirt at the event. The Courthouse Classic is an annual road race for everyone.  Anyone from the novice to the elite is invited and walkers are welcome.  Our race was started in the year 2000, and it takes place at the county courthouse in LaGrange, Indiana. The 2026 race will be run on Saturday, June 20th.  We have three races, a 1 mile fun run (for kids), a competitive 1 mile (open to walkers), and a USATF-certified 5K race.  We have disposable chip timing for all races.  All proceeds go to benefit the Lakeland Cross Country Teams.  Everyone who pre-registers by June 13th will be guaranteed a T-shirt, an excellent goodie bag, and they are eligible for door prizes. After that date, all other registrants will receive these items while supplies last.  After your race, we will have drinks, fresh fruit, snacks, and sample subs from the LaGrange Subway.  When all the races are over we will hand out the awards. The Quick Quack Trail Run 5k adventure course takes runners over unique obstacles like a floating bridge (alternate route available) and ramps all while scrambling over rugged trails as they compete for prized rubber duck trophies! Join Northland Hospice & Palliative Care for our 27th annual Run For Life.  We will begin and end the race in historic Wheeler Park located in downtown Flagstaff. Showing longevity as Northern Arizona's only non-profit hospice, we take pride in delivering services in the place you call home. Welcome to the 22nd annual Flagstaff Running Series sponsored by locally-based Loven Contracting!   The Series package is a great value and it is one-stop shopping for all five races. Considered a bucket-list race, the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner Midnight Sun Run 10K is a uniquely Alaskan race that attracts participants from all over the nation and all over the world. The race begins at 10:00 PM on the Saturday closest to the summer solstice. Starting at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus, participants wind 6.2 miles through area neighborhoods lined with thousands of high-spirited spectators. The course ends at Pioneer Park, where the festivities continue until well after midnight. The race is chip timed, with an elite runner corral that allows serious runners a place at the head of the race, while also supporting every pace and ability. The costumed division is perhaps one of the most anticipated aspects of the race, showcasing true Fairbanks creativity. Proceeds from the race support the mission of Fairbanks Resource Agency (fra-alaska.org) and the Paula Kothe Scholarship Award, which gives $6,000 in scholarships to local student athletes.

Celebrate the women and girls in your life in this family-friendly event to commemorate the achievements of Title IX, the landmark equality legislation signed by President Nixon fifty-three years ago. Bring your family, friends, sports teams and community groups to the NIXON 5K FOR TITLE IX and run (or walk) this moderate course following Yorba Linda’s El Cajon Trail. Athletes are encouraged to wear their favorite team gear supporting female sports! This is accessible for runners of all levels; strollers are welcome and dogs are allowed. Where Family, Freedom, and Community Come Together Celebrate Juneteenth at the 6th Annual Cen-Tex Juneteenth Freedom Run 5K, hosted by the Innovation Black Chamber of Commerce. This year’s theme, Family Rooted in Tradition, honors the generations who paved the way for opportunity while bringing today’s families and communities together in celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress. This annual race is more than a run. It is a community movement. Proceeds from the race support the Juneteenth Relief Grant, a program designed to provide financial assistance to Black-owned businesses across Central Texas. This grant initiative was created to help strengthen local entrepreneurship and support business owners facing financial challenges. Grant applications are submitted by local business owners and reviewed by a community selection committee, which determines which businesses will receive funding made possible through the support of runners, walkers, sponsors, and community partners. This youth aquathon is held for kids ages 7-16 with age categories of 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-16. The race distance is 100-meter swim with 1000 meter run for ages 7-10, and a 200-meter swim with 1500 meter run for ages 11-16. The race is held at the Port Isabel Derry pool and on a closed run course in the neighborhood.
