This is a 5k walk run in Gwinn.  It is part of Gwinn Fun Daze. This race is a fundraiser for Northwoods Airlifeline.   The race is at 8 am.  It will be on pavement/dirt/gravel.  We have a parade at 10 am.  11 am in the Nordeen Park are games for kids, bouncy house, food and other vendors like crafts and clothing, wood working, etc.  10-2:30 is an antique vehicle show in the field behind the park.  There is a cornhole tournament and a duck race. We will have prizes for top finishers and door prizes as well.   There will be water, granola bars, and bananas.  Everyone will get a 3 dollar coupon to use at the food vendors in the park on the day of the event.

The 10th annual Jamaco River Run and Post-Race celebration will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026.  This is a fun, family-friendly day complete with a Kid's Fun Run, a USATF certified & sanctioned 5K road race, and a post-race event with music, a craft beer tent, burgers and dogs, activities for the kids, award ceremony and an amazing prize raffle.  Registration & Bib Pickup will begin at 8am at Waterhouse Field (74 E. The 46th edition of the Heart O' Dixie Triathlon will be held on Saturday June 20th, 2026 - during the Neshoba County Fair. The race begins at 6:30 a.m. with a 1/2 mile swim in Lake Tiak O’Khata in Louisville, MS -  followed by a 27 mile bike ride down hwy 15 into Philadelphia, MS -  it concludes with a 6.5 mile run finishing on the horse racing track at the historic Neshoba County Fairgrounds. The first Heart O' Dixie Triathlon was held in 1980 not long after the first modern swim/bike/run Triathlon event was held at Mission Bay in San Diego, California in 1974.  The Heart O' Dixie Triathlon is one of the longest running triathlons in the United States.
