French Lick Tri Kappa 5K In Memory of Sharon Collier

French Lick Tri Kappa hosts it's 3rd annual fundraising 5K in memory of our sister Sharon Collier.  This race will follow trails between the beautiful, historic French Lick Springs Resort and West Baden Springs Hotels.  Sharon was a strong advocate for children and those with special needs held such a special place in her heart. The money raised from the 5K will be added to the fund in her memory to be used for special needs students in the Springs Valley community. Sharon also loved awarding academic scholarships through Tri Kappa to Springs Valley High School graduates so this fund will help award scholarships as well with emphasis onstudents pursuing degrees in special education. Tri Kappa is a statewide organization promoting culture, charity, and education in the communities we serve. The money raised for events like this goes right back into the community as scholarships, awards, and donations.

Strides4CMV- Running for Ruth

My Story:      Madison and James Wells, tragically lost their infant daughter, Ruth, in June 2024 at just seven months old due to congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV), a common but often overlooked virus that can have devastating effects on newborns. Despite a lengthy and courageous battle, her sweet girl passed away, leaving behind a legacy of strength, love, and resilience.    In her daughter’s memory, Madison ran the 2025 New York City Marathon as a charity runner for the National CMV Foundation. As part of this incredible journey, we are again organizing a Memorial 5K Run/Walk on June 20, 2026, in Owensboro, Kentucky in partnership with Strides 4 CMV during CMV awareness month, to raise awareness and critical funds to support CMV research, education, and prevention efforts.   Madison completed her marathon last year in 5:29:26 with a average pace of 12:34. Havoc at HartFit OCR 3k

Havoc at HartFit is a 3k Obstacle Course Race (OCR) competition presented by HartFit ELEVATE OCR and The Midwest OCR. Waves (comprised of 3 athletes) will be sent out at intervals of 30 minutes. Each wave will have a strict 40 minute cap to complete the course. The race will be capped at only 50 participants. The top overall Male and Female times will be crowned the winners.  Featured obstacles and stations will include Assault Bike, Low Rig, A Frame Rig, 8ft Wall, Rope Climb, Bucket Carry, Wreck Bag Run, Tire Flips and maybe a few surprises. Athletes will complete a total of 3 laps to achieve the 3k distance. The first 2 laps will consist of 1100 Meters, all obstacles and a 300 Meter Carry. The 3rd lap will consist of an 800 Meter Run, including all obstacles, but excluding the heavy Carry. In addition, we'll be hosting a 1 Mile kids course at the conclusion of the adult event. Obstacle completion is not mandatory - Fun, on the other hand, definitely is!

Endless Summer running fest, and lake party! Description Between June 20, 8AM and June 21, 8PM you get 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, or 36 hours to clock as many 1 mile loops around Catfish Lake as you can. The loop is a dirt / gravel road with a brief grass section, and about 120 feet of elevation change. This is THE trail race for road runners. At the start / finish you can expect a non-stop party with good food, good music, and summer vibes. Cool off in the lake, or the misting tent, hit the slip 'n' slide, or hang by the overlook. With a beautiful summit lake on one side, and a beautiful mountain view on the other, this is sure to be the summer days you always hoped for. If you don't want to run, get a Hang Pass to enjoy everything the runners get, but the pain (basically just food, and drinks). Courthouse Classic 2026

The Courthouse Classic is an annual road race for everyone.  Anyone from the novice to the elite is invited and walkers are welcome.  Our race was started in the year 2000, and it takes place at the county courthouse in LaGrange, Indiana. The 2026 race will be run on Saturday, June 20th.  We have three races, a 1 mile fun run (for kids), a competitive 1 mile (open to walkers), and a USATF-certified 5K race.  We have disposable chip timing for all races.  All proceeds go to benefit the Lakeland Cross Country Teams.  Everyone who pre-registers by June 13th will be guaranteed a T-shirt, an excellent goodie bag, and they are eligible for door prizes.
