Welcome to beautiful Wilmington, NY, the home of Whiteface Mountain and the 8th annual Whiskey Run 5K and 10K! But why a Whiskey Run you ask? As it turns out, the area has quite a storied history with liquor, legal and otherwise. During the War of 1812, Wilmington supplied good rye whiskey to the American troops at the Battle of Plattsburgh as part of their daily ration. During prohibition with its proximity to Canada, Wilmington residents provided temporary haven for bootleggers crossing the border, and until recently, Wilmington was home to US Barrel, a whiskey barrel cooperage.  So with our somewhat checkered history and natural beauty we invite you to join us for the annual Wilmington Whiteface Whiskey Run starting at 9:30 am at Preston Festival Field in Wilmington. It’s a time to come together as a community to walk a mile for women who are working to achieve housing stability.  This family friendly event will include free coffee and snacks, face painting, balloon animals, water ice, fairy hair, live DJ, and a short walk. You will have a great time learning more about our mission and the women we serve. New this year, participants will help build “to-go-bags.” While on the trail, walkers will fill empty bags with personal care and household items from our Giving Garage. The completed bags will be distributed to our women saving them the time and money buying these products on their own. Join us for our 10th annual race this June! Get off the pavement and come explore the Big Sky on this county road race on the Geyser Cutoff Road between Geraldine and Geyser, Montana. Explore the hidden treasures in your own back yard as you run through the hills and onto the prairie finishing the race on Main Street, Geraldine, Montana!! The half marathon & 5k races feature beautiful, Central Montana scenery! The 5K run/walk is a gradual descent into town featuring Square Butte and Round Butte mountains; whereas, the half marathon course will traverse the foothills between the Highwood Mountains and Round Butte as you make your way across the hills descending into town. The Rotary Club of Point Pleasant Boro is hosting its Annual Father's Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Whether you participate as a runner or sponsor, you will play a part in raising funds for various Rotary charities. Indian Creek Foundation is kicking off our 35th Annual Roll Stroll & Run and it will be bigger and better than ever!  The event will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2026. This charity ride/walk/race typically draws more than 300 participants and volunteers from all over the region. We will offer our 4 scenic and challenging cycling routes (10, 20, 40 or 62 miles), two walking courses (1K and 5K), and a timed 5K run.    We are also planning to host our post-race family carnival with even more excitement than ever before! The 3rd Annual Mountain Lakes Volunteer Fire Department "Fired Up for the 4th 5K Run” will be held June 20th! TART Trails and Up North Pride are hosting the annual Rainbow Run, a color fun run and fundraiser around the Boardman Lake Loop Trail. On June 20, 2026, the event will celebrate the trail systems and the Northern Michigan 2SLGBTQ+ Community during Pride Month. Participants and spectators will be invited to Hull Park to enjoy music and refreshments before and after the run. The run/walk route will take participants counterclockwise around the 4-mile Boardman Lake Loop Trail. There will be five distinct and separated stations along the route for participants to receive their colors. All participants who register by May 30th will receive a branded white t-shirt. We will be using a powder made of colored cornstarch that will be human, fish, and environment-friendly and will wash out after a rain to have no long-lasting effects on the park or the City infrastructure. Indian Creek Foundation is kicking off our 35th Annual Roll Stroll & Run and it will be bigger and better than ever!  The event will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2026. This charity ride/walk/race typically draws more than 300 participants and volunteers from all over the region. We will offer our 4 scenic and challenging cycling routes (10, 20, 40 or 62 miles), two walking courses (1K and 5K), and a timed 5K run.    We are also planning to host our post-race family carnival with even more excitement than ever before! 2026 Vitality 5K This is a family event, and we welcome All runners and spectators.   Saturday, June 20, 2026,  The race begins 8am at Lakeview Community Wellness Center (LCWC); the Finish is at LCWC.   Our race events benefit health awareness in our community and Lakeview Community Wellness Center, Our Community Non-Profit Fitness center.    Early registration is $35.00 and ends on Sunday, May 18th.  Late registration begins $40.00 from May 19th until race day. Kids 13 and under run free! Every continent except Antarctica has a continental divide. In North America the divide runs from northwestern Canada along the crest of the Rocky Mountains to Mexico's Sierra Madre Occidental, and it is generally the line that divides the flow of water between the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean. In 1968 a federal plan for the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) was mandated, and construction continues to complete this national trail. Fourteen Butte-iful kilometers along the CDT between Montana's Homestake and Pipestone passes in Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest are complete.  They provide scenic vistas with majestic rock formations. This race along that route celebrates the trail and the memory of one of its greatest local proponents -- the late John "the Wulfman" Wulf, who was the Godfather of Butte's Piss & Moan Runners. The race is run near the Summer Solstice, the anniversary of the Wulfman's final run with his Piss and Moan comrades. R

We are limited in parking. We will have a team of people helping to make parking as efficient as possible, but we need your help by sharing rides.   Official start times: 7:00 a.m. for the Half Marathon, 7:15 for the 10k and 7:30 for the 5k. There will be brief pre-race meetings 10 minutes before each start.   These races are our largest annual fundraisers. Richie's Race (Officially Timed Mile) & Mary's Miles (Walk)  We are very excited to announce our Mary Therese Rose Fund Run/Walk in Memory of Rich DuHaime. In prior years, this was 5K Run/Walk formerly held in Darlington County Park in Mahwah. NJ. This year’s event will feature milers competing on the Lakeland Regional High School track. The walkers will be cheering them on the runners from the inner oval and outer edges of the track. Mile runs are all the rage, but walknig is just as important. Everyone within a stone's throw of Wanaque can see how fast (or slow) they can tackle a mile (5,280 feet/4 laps around the track), while having fun engaging or just kicking back and enjoying the "time" of day.   In Memory of Rich DuHaime Rich and his family have been recipients of assistance through the fund for their special needs child and dedicated the last 10+ years to raise funds for the children of the Mary Therese Rose Fund. On September 4, 2008, Mike Fuccile was murdered on his way to work in Jersey City where he served as a chief compliance officer for Merrill Lynch. Mike left behind his wife of ten years, Nancy, and their three children; Michael, Jack and Brooke. In 2009, The Fucille Foundation was established to help local families impacted by tragedy and it continued to do so until the end of 2023 when it passed its torch to ITAB. ITAB, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to encouraging community solidarity, relies on financial contributions and tangible donations to create meaningful, positive impacts on members of its community affected by tragedy or unforeseen circumstances.
