Marsh Madness 10K

Come on out and run (or walk) a unique 10K race at the 1,000 acre Howard Marsh Metropark and then enjoy some post-race kayaking or canoeing. The 10K course on the gravel trails on top the marsh dikes is flat, fast, and scenic. The marsh is also home to unique plants, many types of birds, and lots of other wildlife. After the race, you can launch your kayak, canoe, or paddle board and explore the marsh's eight miles of aquatic trails for a complete "marshy" experience. Rental kayaks will be available from the Metroparks. Also whether you're a birder or not, don't forget your binoculars.   Awards in the 10K will be given to the Male and Female Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Grand Masters winners and will consist of a unique marsh-themed sun catcher and gift card from Second Sole running store. TRIATHLON, DUATHLON & SUPER-SPRINT RELAY The Nona France Quarry at Blue Creek Metropark is home to Whitehouse Ohio's premier sporting event. Choose from a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, or the exciting triathlon super sprint relay.  Swim, bike and run in this beautiful setting in Whitehouse, OH. The biking will take place on the roads to/from the park and the run will take advantage of the trails through this natural setting inside the park area. You will not want to miss this event.   The only Triathlon Relay held in Northwest Ohio is modeled after the Relay Triathlon held in the 2021 Summer Olympic Games.  Each member of the 3 person team will complete all three legs of the super sprint triathlon.  The relay will take place after the individual events are complete, allowing you to compete in both. Dean Martin Hometown Festival: Dino Dash 5k Trail Run / Walk

Hosted by The Dean Martin Association, Steubenville Parks and Recreation, the Jefferson County General Health District and supported by The Friends of Beatty Park, this race will be run on two nature trails - the Purple and Red trails at Historic Beatty Park. In 1871, as the region of Tyrone started to settle, 31 residents saw a need for fire protection and started assisting the community as Neptune Steam Volunteer.  Today, Neptune Fire Company has served our community as a volunteer fire company for over 150 years and is stationed at 1701 Lincoln Avenue in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.  In 2024, Neptune Fire Company has 25 members assisting the community in more than 375 calls per year. The Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K will take place on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at 8:00 AM.    Late registrations will be available Friday June 19th, from 4pm-6pm at the Hampton gazebo located on Lee Avenue in Hampton.   Race day registration will be available from 630am-730am at the Hampton County courthouse.   Packet pickup will be available from 4pm-6pm on Friday, June 19th.  Packets can also be picked up on race day beginning at 6:30 AM and lasting until 7:30AM.    Race starts and finishes on Elm Street in front of the courthouse.  Awards will take place after the race.    Awards will be given to the top three overall finishers as well as the top Male and Female in the following age categories:  12 & Under 13 - 19 20 - 29 30 - 39 40 - 49 50 - 59 60 - 69 70 and up  Race will be held rain or shine. The Tyrone Race Series presents The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint!   The Neptune Fire Company 5K, Firefighter 5K, First Responder 5K and Kids Bucket Brigade Sprint Event that will take place on June 20th, 2026! In 1871, as the region of Tyrone started to settle, 31 residents saw a need for fire protection and started assisting the community as Neptune Steam Volunteer.  Today, Neptune Fire Company has served our community as a volunteer fire company for over 150 years and is stationed at 1701 Lincoln Avenue in Tyrone, Pennsylvania.  In 2024, Neptune Fire Company has 25 members assisting the community in more than 375 calls per year. Each firefighter is safely equipped with gear costing over $8,000 to help fight fires and assist the community.  Donations raised will assist operational funds and equipment upgrades.    Not a runner and still want to contribute?
