'89er 5K

The '89er 5K is hosted by the cadets in the '89er Battalion, Guthrie High School JROTC. The Guthrie JROTC program is the first JROTC program in the State of Oklahoma, dating back to 1935. As a 5K, we encourage competitive runners, recreational runners, and walkers; walk your dog, push a stroller, or simply enjoy the fellowship of your friends and neighbors. This is a community event hosted by the students in JROTC. Run proceeds support educational and leadership training opportunities for the students in JROTC.    This year's '89er day race theme is BOOMTOWN, celebrating Guthrie's legendary boom - from 10 to 10,000 in one day. Come run the boom!    LOCATION: The Start/Finish line is at Honor Park in Downtown Guthrie, near 301 West Harrison Avenue, across from the Oklahoma Publishing Museum.   Course: USAT Certified Course: OK24012MU   PARKING: NOTICE!!!!
