2026 Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival

The Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival is back as a Poker Run in 2026! For riders, there will be the option of a short, long, and adventure route. Once again, the short and long courses are open for runners to sign up as well! Each route will have multiple poker chip stations at random locations. Aberdeen Area Running Club Beer Mile 2026

The Beer Mile is an event consisting of drinking a beer, running a 1/4 mile, and repeating that process 3 more times for a total of 4 beers and 1 mile of running.  You must be 21 to participate.  You must bring ID to the event.   There will be three options to participate:  Single - 1 person drinks all the beer and runs all the laps  Double -  Find yourself a drinking buddy (and running buddy) 2 people split the running and beer drinking.  Each person must drink 2 beers and run 2 laps (1/2 mile total per person)  Quad -  This could be a good team-building exercise for your company, or softball team, or just you and three friends.  4 person team split the running and beer drinking. Each year, more than 2,000 runners take part in this beloved event, racing along the Parkway’s iconic red, white, and blue road stripe. Join us for the Shenandoah Coal Cracker 10K! The Coal Cracker 10k is an iconic running event nestled in the heart of the Coal Region. Beginning in the center of Shenandoah (PA), runners take off through downtown Shenandoah before being met with the first of many challenging hills. The course then takes the runners through the twists, turns, and gently rolling hills of the Coal Region before taking a left turn up the infamous St. Nick's breaker. Blue Devil Endurance Challenge

Can you go the distance?  Come prove it in this "last-person standing" race. Every 15 minutes, participants will start a 1-mile road/sidewalk segment. If you make it back to the start/finish line before the next 15 minute horn goes off, you are still alive and go for another segment, if not, your race is over. How long can you endure?  This year's 4th Annual race features a point-to-point route starting at Zanesville Middle School and run along the paved and partially shaded Joe's Run Trail. The turnaround point is 1 mile away from the starting line. The Jackson River Scenic Trail Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k

This fun event has something for everyone! The USATF certified course  begins and ends at the Intervale Trail Head of The Jackson River Scenic Trail in Covington, Virginia. The trail follows an old railroad bed of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The course has a smooth crushed gravel surface and is mostly flat with some light hills. The trail follows its namesake river, winding it's way through small communities, cultivated fields, and small patches of woodland. The purpose of the Fathers and Families race event is to promote the vital role fathers play as a stabilizing presence in the home and community. Hosted by A Father’s Legacy, Inc., the Second Annual Fathers and Families Fun Walk/Run raises awareness and support for programs that empower both young and mature fathers to build strong families and thriving communities. This race was founded to honor 2 very special ladies, Sam and Carol. 100% of the proceeds got to the Putnam County CAP. This amazing organization helps with expenses for people going through treatment for cancer. This year will be a night race with registration opening up at 6pm, and race beginning at 7:15pm. We also upgrade the prizes to customized beer glasses for the winners, and as always we have a SICK design for the T-shirts this year!  You will want to stick around for the after party too! Drink tokens for every runner, good for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We will also have a 50/50 raffle that night as well.  This is a family friendly event.
