The Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival is back as a Poker Run in 2026! For riders, there will be the option of a short, long, and adventure route. Once again, the short and long courses are open for runners to sign up as well! Each route will have multiple poker chip stations at random locations. Riders and runners will collect a chip from each location and submit them to find out their poker hand.  The best poker hand will win various prize packages!  The ride/run is free to enter.  If you would like to make a donation to the trails, you can do so during the registration process or at any time by clicking the Donation button at the top of this page.  All proceeds from the donations will go to supporting the Maasto Hiihto/Churning Rapids and Swedetown trails.    Be on the lookout for some new additions to the courses and bonuses from sponsors this year!   Please note that this year's event is self-supported.  There may be pop-up aid stations. The Beer Mile is an event consisting of drinking a beer, running a 1/4 mile, and repeating that process 3 more times for a total of 4 beers and 1 mile of running.  You must be 21 to participate.  You must bring ID to the event.   There will be three options to participate:  Single - 1 person drinks all the beer and runs all the laps  Double -  Find yourself a drinking buddy (and running buddy) 2 people split the running and beer drinking.  Each person must drink 2 beers and run 2 laps (1/2 mile total per person)  Quad -  This could be a good team-building exercise for your company, or softball team, or just you and three friends.  4 person team split the running and beer drinking. Experience the thrill of running before a pre-assembled cheering crowd as excitement builds for the annual Gaspee Days Parade. Each year, more than 2,000 runners take part in this beloved event, racing along the Parkway’s iconic red, white, and blue road stripe. Whether you’re competing for a prize or running just for fun, your participation helps support one of the community’s most cherished traditions—all proceeds benefit the Gaspee Days Parade.   RACE DETAILS The race starts at 9:30 AM sharp on Broad Street at Chiswick Road, Cranston, RI. The course spans 5K (3.1 miles) and was bicycle calibrated by Ray Nelson. It runs south on Broad Street into Warwick onto Narragansett Parkway then turns at General Hawkins Drive and returns north. The race finish line is just past the Parade reviewing stand at Rhodes Place. Timing and results are coordinated by Spitler Race Systems. Due to the timing of the Parade, which immediately follows the 5K, the race has a strict cut-off time of one hour. Y

Join us for the Shenandoah Coal Cracker 10K! The Coal Cracker 10k is an iconic running event nestled in the heart of the Coal Region. Beginning in the center of Shenandoah (PA), runners take off through downtown Shenandoah before being met with the first of many challenging hills. The course then takes the runners through the twists, turns, and gently rolling hills of the Coal Region before taking a left turn up the infamous St. Nick's breaker. Runners will test their grit and endurance as they face this steep, seemingly endless hill. Once at the top, runners will have a 1 mile cruise downhill back into town where the finish line waits atop a short but nasty incline! The 4th annual Run for Theron 5K race and 1M fun run is held to shine a light of hope on fighting the scourge of suicide. Can you go the distance?  Come prove it in this "last-person standing" race. Every 15 minutes, participants will start a 1-mile road/sidewalk segment. If you make it back to the start/finish line before the next 15 minute horn goes off, you are still alive and go for another segment, if not, your race is over. How long can you endure?  This year's 4th Annual race features a point-to-point route starting at Zanesville Middle School and run along the paved and partially shaded Joe's Run Trail. The turnaround point is 1 mile away from the starting line. Both ends of the course will have designated rest areas stocked with drinks and snacks to enjoy while participants rest until the next 15 minute interval begins.  This event is presented by Zanesville Soccer Boosters, a non-profit 501(c)(3) supporting the Zanesville High School Boys & Girls and Zanesville Middle School Boys & Girls soccer teams.

This fun event has something for everyone! The USATF certified course  begins and ends at the Intervale Trail Head of The Jackson River Scenic Trail in Covington, Virginia. The trail follows an old railroad bed of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The course has a smooth crushed gravel surface and is mostly flat with some light hills. The trail follows its namesake river, winding it's way through small communities, cultivated fields, and small patches of woodland. It isn't uncommon to see wildlife along the way.   WEATHER This is a rain or shine event.  In the case of severely inclement weather, announcements regarding the race status will be made on the website (www.jacksonrivermarathon.com), on Facebook and via local media.  If there is sufficient advanced notice of a severe weather event, notices will also be sent via the email submitted with your registration.   AWARDS All finishers receive a commemorative finisher's medal. Tri 4 Schools is a part of Active Youth Wisconsin, a nonprofit committed to empowering kids to be happy, healthy, and confident through movement. The Gravel Unravel Experience Gravel Unravel is an endurance gravel bicycling series on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. The purpose of the Fathers and Families race event is to promote the vital role fathers play as a stabilizing presence in the home and community. Hosted by A Father’s Legacy, Inc., the Second Annual Fathers and Families Fun Walk/Run raises awareness and support for programs that empower both young and mature fathers to build strong families and thriving communities. The race will be held at the beautiful Pratt Park 120 River Rd, Fredericksburg. This paved and gravel course winds its way along the back side of the YMCA.  We will have music on site, a photographer, an award ceremony, and refreshments after the completion of the race at Pratt Park. Welcome to the Grand Lake Family YMCA's First Annual "Toes in the Grand 5K & Fun Run." Located at Wolf Creek Park & Boating Facility during the City of Grove's "Toes in the Grand Festival". All proceeds will benefit the Grand Lake Family YMCA Annual Campaign! Packet pickup will begin at 7:00am on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in the Pavillion on the North End of the Boat Ramp area. Please join us for the 5th annual Bad Dog 5000 this June 13 at the Carry-it Party Shop in Ottawa, Ohio. This race was founded to honor 2 very special ladies, Sam and Carol. 100% of the proceeds got to the Putnam County CAP. This amazing organization helps with expenses for people going through treatment for cancer. This year will be a night race with registration opening up at 6pm, and race beginning at 7:15pm. We also upgrade the prizes to customized beer glasses for the winners, and as always we have a SICK design for the T-shirts this year!  You will want to stick around for the after party too! Drink tokens for every runner, good for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We will also have a 50/50 raffle that night as well.  This is a family friendly event. Bring the kids and run, jog, walk, bike, or rollerblade. We don’t care, everyone is welcome!

Join us for Bigfoot's Backyard Bash! Runners will get a shirt and finisher medal. This is a low key, fun vibe event. Runners can start anytime between 8am and noon. Our mission is to end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a fatal genetic disorder that slowly robs our children and loved ones of their muscle strength.
