General Information: Parkinson’s 5K & Wellness Walk April 11th 2026 Lee Health Sports Complex (Hammond Field) 8:00AM   🏃‍♂️ Parkinson's Wellness Walk ⚾ For over 200 years, Parkinson Disease has been steadily growing—and recently, at an alarming rate. It is now the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world. In the U.S., Florida has the highest number of cases per capita, with over 79,000 individuals affected, contributing to the 1 million cases nationwide and 10 million globally. That number is projected to rise to 12.9 million by 2040. Parkinson’s is a chronic, progressive, and complex multi-system disorder with no known cure. While often classified as a movement disorder, it affects much more than just physical movement, impacting mental, emotional, and autonomic functions as well. The Lee Health Parkinson Program has served over 4,500 individuals in our community and currently supports nearly 2,000 people. Our mission is to provide hope and critical resource
