Plainfield Twisters 5k Fundraiser and Charity run

Plainfield, IL
Come and join the Plainfield Twisters for our opening weekend event! We're starting the day with bib pick up at 8am and starting the run at 9am. During the event we will raffle off baskets as well as holding a 50/50 raffle. Half of the proceeds will go to our 12u Twister team to support them during the spring season and the other half will be donated to the Plainfield Athletic Clubs Angels division. Angels baseball is a team designed for special needs children between the ages of 5-18. Afterwards the Twisters will be hosting a round robin where they will play against 3 other teams! There will be food, prizes, and a whole lot of softball to enjoy.

8th Annual Kid's Splash & Dash (Ozark Race Series)

Healthy Kids Running Series Spring 2026 - Nashua, NH

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Hi Central Road Community!  It’s the LAST DAY!! We need your help! We are short of our goal! The PTA will be holding a fundraising campaign that will conclude on April 18th with the NEW Wolfie Dash Obstacle Course.  All funds raised will help pay for the PTA events that make Central Road great!  These events include: assemblies, Fall Fest, Multicultural events, classroom holiday parties, teacher appreciation week, Veterans Day breakfast, and much, much more.  At the end of our fundraising period, students will participate in the Wolfie Dash where they will be running, jumping, crawling, and climbing. The Wolfie Dash will bring in over 75% of PTA funding for the next school year, as well as some much needed items for this year. Playmakers' Kids Run Club

Playmakers has once again partnered with Meridian Township Parks Department to offer this unique fitness opportunity for children in 3rd-6th grades. Running Club participants receive Good Form Running coaching from certified Playmakers staff during eight training sessions and concludes with a Fun Run Finale! Our goal is to promote fun, healthy, active lifestyles and help children get in shape for other sporting activities.
