2026 San Antonio Sports All-Star Basketball Game presented by Valero

The San Antonio Sports All-Star Basketball Game, presented by Valero, has served as a celebration of success of boys and girls basketball careers. This new game only in its third year has of more than 120 players from over 60 area high schools will take place Sunday, April 12 at the Northside ISD Sports Gymnasium, located at 8400 N. Loop 1604. It is televised locally on KSAT12. We are excited to official bring on Valero as the title sponsor for this event!   There will be four games total and each session will include a girls’ and boys’ game. The first session tips off from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. while the second session tips off from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. An all-star skills challenge and three-point contest will take place between the afternoon and evening sessions. About the Program The Needham Track Club Spring Track Program is open to children age 4-14. The program meets on Sundays from April 12 – June 14, 2026 at DeFazio Track in Needham. There are two sessions to choose from: 9:15 - 10:20 am and 10:45 - 11:50 am. Children age 6.5-14 can choose a sprinting group or a distance group. Age 6.5 can choose to remain with an age 5-6 team. The weekly sessions include warm up, stretching, running drills, sprinting and distance training, hurdles, field event technique building and warm down. Field event training will be available on events such as long jump, shot put, high jump, and turbo jav. Children are placed in teams where they remain for the entire session.  The season tuition includes an NYTC Spring Program T-shirt, and all sessions.

The Iron Mountain XC is an AMBCS (Arkansas Mountain Bike Championship Series) mountain bike race contested on the lengendary trail system of Iron Mountain which is located on DeGray Lake just outside of Caddo Valley, Arkansas.  This is a USA Cycling-sanctioned race and there are categories for all ages and levels.  An annual licenses is required to race in the Cat 1 & 2 category.  All others can race on a one-day license. NOTE: the Novice category entry fee includes the one-day license fee which is $15.   Chip timing, event t-shirt, post-race food and beverages (adult and youth), and awards are part of this great day of racing. This family-friendly nordic ski race will take place this year on April 12th at the 5K Nordic Loop in Girdwood, AK.
