Howdy Ya'll, Welcome to Texas!!! The Texas Draft-Legal Cup is a USAT Junior National Series race weekend! Headlined on Sunday, April 12th by the top 300 Youth and Junior Draft-Legal triathletes in the USA. There will be an event on Sunday Mid-day for Kids ages 6-15 (non-drafting). We look forward to hosting everyone at this fun and fast race in Fort Worth, Texas!

Parkinson's Awareness Run/Walk Sponsored by Fusion and Rock Steady Boxing! This is a wonderful event where Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and surrounding communities can come out and support the Parkinson's community by running or walking the distance of their choice. Zeta Tau Alpha’s chapter at the University of Virginia has hosted our annual Run for Life 5K in Charlottesville, Virginia every year for the past 28 years. Our race benefits the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation to fund scholarships, educational programming, leadership development and our fight against breast cancer, which includes our partnerships with Bright Pink, the NFL, the American Cancer Society, and locally with the UVA Breast Care Center. In years past, we have attracted approximately 1000 participants and raised nearly $30,000 for breast cancer each year. This race means so much to our chapter members, UVA, and the Charlottesville community.  Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the United States. Join us on the morning of April 12, 2026 for the Chesapeake Climate Action Network’s (CCAN’s) second annual 5K for the Planet. This 5K fun run and walk will take place in Joseph Bryan Park in Richmond, Virginia. The course is on a fully paved trail with small hills throughout. Get ready for a day of fun and fitness at the Farm & Forest All-Terrain 5K and Hog Wild Kids Fun Run on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Stamford, Western Connecticut! The  3rd annual Zachary M. Negrón Unforgettable Trail Race occurs Sunday, April 12, 2026.  This race is a family-friendly event with a competitive edge. Both the 5K  and 10K races are timed with a chip for those wanting some competition! This year, we are making it possible for the youngest runners to participate by including them in the day’s festivities with a Fun Run, which will allow those in second grade or younger to run a mile around the Georgia Cumberland Academy track. We run in honor of two causes. The Unforgettable Foundation of Tennessee assists at-risk and grieving families with finances to help them afford a timely and dignified funeral for their children. The Zachary M. Negrón Memorial Scholarship gives scholarships to a select number of students at Georgia-Cumberland Academy who mirror the traits of perseverance and hard work, characteristics Zachary embraced as a student at GCA to accomplish his goals.

The 10th Annual 5K begins at 3:00PM and the 1 Mile at 2:30PM.  Awards will be at 4:00PM. The entry fee for the 5K is $30 and the 1 Mile Fun Run is FREE to ALL runners! We will start with our 1 Mile Fun Run for the younger ages and any parents & adults who wish to run with and encourage the kids. The course is an out-and-back, heading out Kearsarge Ave and looping through Wildwood Dr. The mile turns around at .5 miles on Kearsarge Ave. In loving memory of Judy George, a remarkable woman whose friendship touched countless lives, we proudly present this 5K run. Judy's fun spirit and kindness inspired everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Before her passing in 2024, Judy had a vision to help organize a 5K event. The San Antonio Sports All-Star Basketball Game, presented by Valero, has served as a celebration of success of boys and girls basketball careers. This new game only in its third year has of more than 120 players from over 60 area high schools will take place Sunday, April 12 at the Northside ISD Sports Gymnasium, located at 8400 N. Loop 1604. It is televised locally on KSAT12. We are excited to official bring on Valero as the title sponsor for this event!   There will be four games total and each session will include a girls’ and boys’ game. The first session tips off from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. while the second session tips off from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. An all-star skills challenge and three-point contest will take place between the afternoon and evening sessions. Do you have a favorite 5k course that is not already a race? We have an exciting challenge for you! Create a 5k route somewhere in NH that would be safe for runners and easy for parking. Run the route then share the course map and info via email to ellenraffio@gmail.com. The winner will have their route turned into a real race in next year's Bring On The Heat Series for 2027.  The winner can choose which charity the future race will benefit.  If you do not want your race to be considered you will still receive 1000 points for this year's Bring on The Heat Series!    Proceeds for this contest will got to the Run to Home Base Foundation.

This event integrates two core components of the fire service: fitness and fireground operations.   The 5K will start and end at Keating Hall, home of Brockton Firefighters Local 144, beginning at 9am. Following the race, we will host Deputy Chief Nicholas Papa of the New Britain Fire Department as he presents his course titled "Coordinating Ventilation: Supporting Extinguishment & Survivability." About the Program The Needham Track Club Spring Track Program is open to children age 4-14. The program meets on Sundays from April 12 – June 14, 2026 at DeFazio Track in Needham. There are two sessions to choose from: 9:15 - 10:20 am and 10:45 - 11:50 am. Children age 6.5-14 can choose a sprinting group or a distance group. Age 6.5 can choose to remain with an age 5-6 team. The weekly sessions include warm up, stretching, running drills, sprinting and distance training, hurdles, field event technique building and warm down. Field event training will be available on events such as long jump, shot put, high jump, and turbo jav. Children are placed in teams where they remain for the entire session.  The season tuition includes an NYTC Spring Program T-shirt, and all sessions.

About Bailey’s Team for Autism...Bailey's Team for Autism is a regional non-profit organization raising funds and awareness in support of individuals living with autism spectrum disorders and their families. Founded in 2001 and incorporated in 2008, we have raised over $1.3 million contributing over 90% of all funds raised with a focus on programming, education, and research. We have supported projects nationwide, but our concentration is in New England - more specifically, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.About the Run...Our 5k is a professionally measured and USATF Certified fast, flat course and encourages good race time!
