The course traverses a variety of gorgeous landscapes and is pretty awesome, just saying. All proceeds benefit the summer camping programs and scholarship funds. The PHenomenal Hope 5K and 1 Mile walk is an annual event to raise funds for research for pulmonary hypertension (PH), a very-rare disease that causes high blood pressure in the lungs and is often terminal.  Now in it's 13th year, we have raised over a half million dollars towards PH research. RACE DAY ACTIVITIES   Easter Egg Dash The Easter Egg Dash is a 5K race (3.1 miles) that loops around the Butler Senior and Intermediate High School Campus. We'll spend the first part of the day (5-6 hours) with classroom instruction. This is a great time to get to know one another, ask questions, and learn the foundation principles of top level navigation. A Race Series Designed by Runners, for RunnersIn 2021 we created the McKirdy Micro Marathon series to help athletes run a personal best and qualify for the Boston Marathon or beyond. At the time, we were just coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic where opportunities to run fast times were limited and motivation to continue training was difficult with no races on the calendar. In 2023, we took the same concept and applied it at an elite level, hosting a race for athletes targeting the USATF Olympic Trials Qualifying Standard (OTQ) or the Olympic Standard. Many “on the cusp” athletes find they have limited options for races that are both fast and will provide the support they need to run their best.Athletes from all over the world came to participate in a small localized race with the potential for massive impact. For the first time since 2020, the 5K and Kids Fun Run return to Hoff Woods Park (556 McCorkle Blvd.) ahead of the Spring Eggstravaganza egg hunt Saturday, March 28. While supplies last, registrants will receive a race t-shirt, finisher medal, and a swag bag with items from local businesses. Sign up early to be sure you receive these items! The first 350 to sign up will receive a medal. The Bunny Hop is a timed 5k. After the race, stay for the FREE Eggstravaganza. Enjoy inflatable games, a photo area with the bunny and an egg hunt. Flirt with Dirt moves to the Meadows Picnic Area this year for a 10k and Half Marathon on the hiking and bridle trails of Brecksville Reservation. This scenic course will be enjoyed by runners of all paces. Hikers welcome for the 10k!

The 9th annual spring half marathon plus 5k starts and finishes in downtown Tulsa.  The half marathon includes several miles along the banks of the beautiful Arkansas River.   Each year the finisher medal for the T-Town Half will feature iconic downtown Tulsa architecture. The first medal for the 2018 event was the top of the 1930's era Blue Dome building. The 2019 medal featured the top of the iconic art deco Philtower Building. It's time to Sink or Skim. Try not to take a dip during the Annual Pond Skim at Stratton on Saturday, March 28th. Participants will try to skim across the water's surface and make it out the other side just as dry as they entered. This event is just as fun to watch as it is to enter. Join us to see who sinks and who skims. Come ready to skim the pond on your skis and snowboards, dressed in your favorite costume. We'll select multiple winners who will be judged on Best Costume, Best Crash, and Best Skim. Online Registration is open to the first 150 participants. Come meet the Easter Bunny at the Sally Ploof Hunter Memorial Library! This sensory friendly event is possible thanks to many kind volunteers. Each immediate family will sign up for one 10 minute slot to allow dedicated time with the Easter Bunny without having to wait in line with crowds. Your child(ren) are free to lay, roll, jump, spin, and flap with the Easter Bunny!  You are welcomed and encouraged to take your own photos. In honor of Women's History Month, RunWithTheWinners Run Club is teaming up with She's Company and Courtney Covers Cleveland to present "5000 Steps Forward" - a women's only walk to benefit the Lupus Foundation of America. The event will take place on Saturday March 28th at 10am, and will start and end at the courtyard in between Le Burger and Truss (2407 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44113).  The morning will consist of a live DJ, raffles, giveaways, and post-run brunch specials at Le Burger, Market Garden Brewery, Bright Side, and Nano Brew.
