A weekend of bicycle riding events, with Saturday's inaugural OC Criterium Race, followed by a casual bike tour on Sunday.  A USA Cycling Membership is necessary to compete on Saturday, and registration will be done through the BikeReg platform by clicking on the Saturday races.  Our Ride Ocean City Bike tour rides (18 mile, 45 mile and a metric century/62 mile) are available through this page!   Want to join us for both events? Start time  9:30am.  The beauty of nature is completely on display in this challenging up-and-down, through-the-woods, around-the-lake, all-over-the-park 5k trail race. To be fair, half of the course is paved, the other half is a mixture of natural trail (very little rocks/roots), and crushed limestone. Trail shoes are not necessary. Some participants prefer trail shoes if it has been raining for a few days. The first 100 registrants receive a hooded sweatshirt $5 extra, or a long-sleeved T-shirt. CEEF & CUSD 2026 Run for Great Schools 5K + Kids Dash! Our Swim Lead will provide a detailed overview of the swim leg of our race, answering questions and offering helpful information. The talk will begin at the start of the session, but you are welcome to arrive at any time to swim, practice, and time your 400-yard swim. Half of the pool will be reserved for practicing the snake swim, swimming laps, and learning how to pass others.The other half of the pool will be dedicated to accurately timing the swim leg, with our timing crew using their equipment to record results. Important: You must have completed both your registration and waivers before swimming.

The 13th Annual Mission Run in the Ozarks will take place Saturday morning March 28, 2026 at 7:00 and 9:00 a.m., starting at Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church and ending at the Stone County Court Square. Two-day adult sailing classes are offered most weekends from 9 am to 4 pm at Fiddler's Cove Marina. Classes are open to all eligible MWR patrons and sponsored guests. Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older with a parent or guardian. Class fees per person vary by military affiliation and rank. Dependent fees are calculated at the sponsoring active duty or retiree rate. Pre-registration is required as classes can fill up quickly. Registration includes boat rental, instruction, and textbooks. Students per boat will be kept to the minimum amount possible in order to maximize learning potential and will range from one to four. Number of students per boat is dependent on the boat size, sailing conditions and the skills being developed in the class. Take the Leap at Walnut Beach! Join the brave, warm-hearted souls who will Leap for Literacy. Leapers from around the area are invited to run, jump or dive into the chilly waters at Walnut Beach to help raise money to support Literacy Volunteers of Southern Connecticut. What is the LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon benefiting LivFree? Here’s how it all works - the event is a continuous game with 60 to 90 skaters playing on two teams in 3 rotating groups based on ability with a running score from opening puck drop to the final horn. Each player raises $1500 dollars for the cause. LivFree is a pediatric cancer non-profit organization that provides children and their families with moments of joy to take a break from struggle and enjoy some family time together. The Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi will be hosting its annual Sarah Anderson Live.Laugh.Run. 5K on March 28, 2025. Kappa Kappa Psi is a national honorary fraternity dedicated to serving college and university bands across the country. In November of 2009, Sarah Anderson lost her life in a tragic car accident. Sarah was a sophomore studying to go to veterinarian school at Auburn University, a piccolo player in the Auburn University Marching Band (AUMB), and a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi. In honor of her memory, the Pi chapter will be using all proceeds to fund the Sarah Anderson Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship that is granted to a deserving band member at the end of each fall semester. The recipient will be someone who best exhibits the qualities of our fraternity and who shares the same positive attitude and love for life that Sarah Anderson had. Saturday, March 28, 7am – 3pm NBSD Admiral Prout Fields MWR is looking for volunteers to help with our Spring Fling Event! Set up, tear down, help with games, rides etc. Must be 18yrs+ LOA provided! Jeans, shorts, tennis shoes ok, t-shirt provided to wear during the event. WALK INS WELCOME

Far and away, the very best entry level double century event! A beautiful route in Southern California’s most scenic and most popular cycling region! A portion of every entry fee will be donated to Life Sports Foundation.

5K RACE (run/walk) in conjunction with the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo. Cash awards given for top male and female finisher. Medals given for age group winners. March 28, 2026 RACE INFO: The course will start and end in front of Opp High School. Registration and shirt pickup is from 7:00-8:00 am at Opp High School the day of the race. Race starts at 8:30 am sharp.  Correct shirt size can only be guaranteed if the participant pre-registers.  THE FIRST 200 PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A RATTLESNAKE RODEO ARMBAND ($15 value).
