Race-day registration is $45 and takes place from 7:15 to 8:15 at the Booker Building. We are asking that everyone register as soon as possible so that we can have our ducks in a row come race day! Registration will be capped at ~250 people and I will NOT accept race day signups like we have in the past. I'm also asking this year that we do not register kids in strollers, on bikes, or anyone/thing not planning to complete the entire 5k course on their own. This is to help ensure that we leave as many spots open for other racers as possible. The Rocktown Turkey Trot is the perfect mix of fun and fitness on Thanksgiving morning. The four mile course is designed with all skill levels in mind - and it's ideal for first-timers and veteran runners alike. The Turkey Trot is a professionally timed event (you'll receive a race bib and chip timing device at packet pickup), but don't let that deter you from coming dressed in your favorite Thanksgiving-themed running gear! The Gobble Gobble Kids Dash is a can't-miss tradition for kids on Thanksgiving. They'll be energized by the roar of the crowd and feel the freedom of wind in their face as they run through the closed-down streets of Court Square in Harrisonburg. Kids Dash participants will finish prior to the start of the Rocktown Turkey Trot.

The 19th Annual Tipp Turkey Trot returns to Kyle Park. Once again this year, there are options to run either 5k or 10k!  This race serves as a fundraiser Ginghamsburg Church's New Path Ministry which provides food for families in need.   Start your Thanksgiving off by getting some exercise and providing for such a good cause. The Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot 5K   EVENT INFORMATION Event date is Thursday, November 26, 2026 at beautiful Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, RI! Held annually on Thanksgiving morning, this run/walk has become a beloved community tradition for many, allowing people to kick off the holiday with a healthy dose of fun and exercise before they "gobble" their Thanksgiving feast.   Walkers begin at 8:30 am.  Runners begin at 9:00 am. Strollers are welcome.  No dogs, please. Prizes will be awarded and participants will be entered into a raffle to win one of many gift card prizes (no double winners).   ** Proceeds benefit the Keene High Girls Cross Country, Indoor, and Spring Track teams, including college scholarships for graduating KHS seniors.

This is a 5k race in memory of Drew Ceppetelli who passed away on Thanksgiving morning. This is an event that honors her life and raises funds for a scholarship in her name. This is a way for friends, family, and community members to come together and remember her while raising money for a fund used for people to better themselves, a cause that was important to her. The race is an untimed event, which means that participants can run or walk the course at their own pace. The course is designed to be beginner-friendly, with mostly flat terrain, and is suitable for all fitness levels. Participants can register for the race in advance below or on the day of the event between 8 and 9 AM. Donations for the scholarship fund can be made during registration or on the day of the event. New Hope Christian School, located in Smithville, Missouri, is excited to announce their inaugural turkey trail trot 5k on November 27, 2025. This self-timed event will be a fundraiser for the school to support Christian education in Smithville. All proceeds from the race will go toward the New Hope Scholarship Fund which helps defray the cost of tuition for deserving families attending New Hope who demonstrate a financial need. This first-ever turkey trot in Smithville will be held in the Smith's Fork recreation area with ample parking near the soccer and baseball fields as well as overflow parking at Grace Community Church, just a cross MO Hwy DD. A family tradition that helps folks in need. The scenic race course loops Hinckley Lake within the Hinckley Reservation.  Start/finish and parking (same as last year) We'll Start/Finish at the South Ball Field parking lot. We will run the course on the paved path around the lake as usual (CCW). Parking will be limited so we're capping registration at 1000 at this point. We highly encourage carpooling and arriving early. We'll provide detailed parking instructions as we get closer. In addition to views of the local flora and fauna, you might see participants in their best Thanksgiving-themed costumes.  (Turkey and cranberry suits are welcome!) What started as a Thanksgiving morning run has turned into a tradition. Come build that Thanksgiving appetite by running the 6.2 mile certified course through the beautiful Golden Springs community. This ARC event benefits the YMCA. Walkers are welcome! Come and participate as a family. Overall male and female winners receive a Turkey Breast from The Honey Baked Ham Company. Overall 2nd & 3rd male and female receive Yummy Pies.
