About Trail Fest:FEAR Trail Fest is a 5 mile lollipop loop trail race in Lewis Morris Park in Morristown, NJ. The course is run mostly on the Yellow Trail in Lewis Morris Park. It’s a runnable course with a mix of rocks, roots, and some good climbs totaling around 600 feet of elevation gain. The course starts with a wide section on the Patriots Path before moving to single track for the full Yellow Trail loop before traversing the short section of the Patriots Path again back to the finish. The course is meant to attract runners looking to tackle their first trail race, or an experienced veteran on the trails looking to have a fun and fast race! Hikers are welcome too, with a generous 2:30 hour time limit. Additionally, we will host course previews (see dates below) on the actual course so no one needs to go into the race blindly. Mikey was a vibrant 19-year-old student athlete when diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) a deadly form of brain cancer. Mikey lost his battle with DIPG and we are holding this fun event in his honor on November 26, 2025. The run will honor Mikey and others lost to this deadly disease and raise funds to help others battle this cancer. The course is on the beach. Join us for our 34th Year! The YMCA Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day tradition that attracts runners of all ages and abilities to Fredericksburg, VA each year. Lights in the Parkway 5K  The Lights in the Parkway 5K is a fun-filled event and great way to kick-off the holiday season with the family.  This festive 5K takes place on the Wednesday evening prior to Thanksgiving at the Lehigh Parkway in Allentown.  Runners (and walkers) get the opportunity to preview the lights display up close and personal by foot.  After the race, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies as we cheer on the runners finishing up. Each year, the Newport County YMCA hosts the annual Pie Run on Thanksgiving Day. This USATF sanctioned race, originally founded in 1985 by the Newport Running Club, collects food donations for the MLK Community Center as well as raises necessary funds for the Y's Community Support Campaign. The Mighty Gobbler is a Thanksgiving tradition! A 5k race and 1 mile fun run/walk through a quiet Troy neighborhood. Welcome back to the D&I Fitness Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. We are so excited to be back on for 2025! Run the 5k or walk the 2 mile loop, either way, join us in this fun family event! The Woodbury Wobble 5K is a community event to encourage movement before the feast and a portion of our profits go to stock the shelves of our local food bank.  With your registration you will receive a race bib, gun timed race, fully marked course, post-race snacks, plus a swag item. Only the first 100 registered runners get the branded knit hat. (As of October 22, 2025 the first 100 hats are claimed. You can now purchase a hat with your race registration.) There will also be the turkey scavenger hunt along the course that kids can complete for a small prize. Kids ages 0 - 12 who would like a time, bib, and swag item will be $12, They will NOT get a hat. If your child is riding in the stroller or along for the run for fun they are free to run with you without charge. The Lake of the Ozarks Turkey Trot 5K is a family tradition held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School. 2026 will be the 17th year for this event. It's attended by many families who want to kick their holiday off with some exercise, friendly competition and camaraderie. This year we have a one mile fun run for kids and adults who don't want to do the full 5k course. The fun run begins at 7:45, the 5k at 8:30. Walk-up registration will open at 7:00am.
