The Great Turkey Escape 5K road race and 3/4 mile kids run. In 2024 we were able to give over $401,571 in financial assistance to our Westside Community. The Hendricks Regional Health YMCA strives to make a difference in the lives of people in our community every day. The Gobble Gallop 5k is our largest fundraising event for our Annual Campaign. This past year, the donations we received towards our Annual Campaign helped provide over $401,571 in financial assistance to qualifying Westside families. We were able to provide children with the opportunity to attend preschool, take swim lessons, and play in our youth sports leagues. The Woodbury Wobble 5K is a community event to encourage movement before the feast and a portion of our profits go to stock the shelves of our local food bank.  With your registration you will receive a race bib, gun timed race, fully marked course, post-race snacks, plus a swag item. Only the first 100 registered runners get the branded knit hat. (As of October 22, 2025 the first 100 hats are claimed. You can now purchase a hat with your race registration.) There will also be the turkey scavenger hunt along the course that kids can complete for a small prize. Kids ages 0 - 12 who would like a time, bib, and swag item will be $12, They will NOT get a hat. If your child is riding in the stroller or along for the run for fun they are free to run with you without charge. We are a cashless race this means we do not accept cash for registration on race day signups. Please register before you arrive.

The Lake of the Ozarks Turkey Trot 5K is a family tradition held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School. 2026 will be the 17th year for this event. It's attended by many families who want to kick their holiday off with some exercise, friendly competition and camaraderie. This year we have a one mile fun run for kids and adults who don't want to do the full 5k course. The fun run begins at 7:45, the 5k at 8:30. Walk-up registration will open at 7:00am. Bring the whole "Flock" and run or walk together on Thanksgiving morning! 2025 marks the 14th year that the event benefits both the Boise Rescue Mission and Camp Rainbow Gold. As Boise continues to grow, so does the need for the services these organizations provide. The Mighty Gobbler is a Thanksgiving tradition! A 5k race and 1 mile fun run/walk through a quiet Troy neighborhood.
