ABOUT THIS EVENTThe 10th Annual Bobcats Turkey Trot 5K is an event organized by the Beaver Bobcats Girls Basketball program. There are two options for this 5K. (1) A chip timed Run/Walk, (2) untimed Fun Run/Walk. Timing provided by Wolf Creek Race Management. COURSEThe 5K course is a beautiful run through the streets of Beaver along the Ohio River. Please note, streets will remain open to traffic.  The route will have signs and volunteers directing the way. A water station will be located at the halfway point of the 5K course. The 2025 Millersville Turkey Trot will be the 53rd running of the family-fun 5K. This event is Lancaster's largest and longest running Turkey Trot and the 53rd event is slated to be a run to remember!   Register Today!

The Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot 5K   EVENT INFORMATION Event date is Thursday, November 26, 2026 at beautiful Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, RI! Participants in the 2026 race will enjoy an epic on-field finish inside the Stadium. After the race, we hope you’ll join us at the AAA Insurance Market Plaza inside Centreville Bank Stadium for a post-race drink at the bar (credit card only, no cash) overlooking the Stadium and finish line!   This year’s race will be capped at 3,000 participants.   Youth run for kids aged 12 and under starts at 9:00 a.m. The kids race will be completely inside the stadium, starting and finishing at the 5K finish line. Thanksgiving Day is all about family, food, fun, football... and 5Ks! Come out to City Park for the first Hawkeye Turkey Trot, the only Thanksgiving Day 5K in Iowa City! Start your Thanksgiving off right with a fun 5K for the whole family before you indulge in a delicious Turkey Day meal!  The Herky Turkey Tot Trot race will begin after the conclusion of the 5K around the Iowa River Corridor Trail near Shelter #6 at City Park! A portion of proceeds from the race will be given to the Food Bank of Iowa. The Murphy Scholarship is Leesville Road High School's first endowed scholarship. Founded in 2011 in memory of Leesville's first principal, Richard J. Murphy, it seeks to inspire incoming students by recognizing the best of our graduating senior class. The major fundraiser for the scholarship is the Leesville Community Turkey Trot, presented by Murray Moyer. Our USATF-certified 5K race takes place on local neighborhood roads and serves as both a great volunteer opportunity and an informal reunion for Leesville alumni and families. We are back on the Boone Greenway Trail for the 16th Annual High Country Turkey Trot! Choose from a 5K or 10K timed race or an untimed Fun Run/Walk. Taking place on Thanksgiving morning, The High Country Turkey Trot is open to competitive runners, casual joggers, walkers, and fun runners. Far from just a race, the event is fun for the entire family and includes a live DJ, photo-staging area, costumes, and a picnic shed full of food and hot drinks. NEW FOR 2026: We've updated the course route by reducing elevation gain and improving the terrain. That means less hill climbs and more stable footing! Choose from a mellow 2-mile course featuring paved paths, grass, and smooth trails, or take on the more rugged 5K — or the all-new 10K — with  plenty of roots, rocks, and rolling hills.  An untimed fun run option is available for the 2-mile course.
