Come join us on Thanksgiving morning for a 2-mile fun run! The event will be held at Mehaffey Park. We will have a fun course, music, and more! Come dressed in your best Turkey Day outfit. Every participant will receive a memorable campfire mug and bib. Shirts can be added on during registration. This event will benefit KidsPak. We will be accepting food donations to help fill their shelves and a portion of the proceeds will go to them too. Groups of 3 or more get a discount at registration! Start is at 8am! This year we will have two race starts! You can choose 8am or 8:30am. Pre-race day packet pickup will be at TBD, Wednesday evening. We will be updating you with all the info soon. Stayed tuned…. The Great Turkey Escape 5K road race and 3/4 mile kids run. We will spoil our runners with a long sleeve tech shirt, an embroidered winter beanie (hat), embroidered running gloves and a finisher's medal along with 3 deep 5 year age group awards. The race begins and ends at the Redding Community Center on Lonetown Rd (RT 107) and all proceeds will be donated to our beneficiaries.

Come join us for a fun 5K run/walk through the beautiful Gatewood neighborhood on Thanksgiving Day starting at 8am!  Online Registration ends Monday 11/23 at 6pm!!!! Kids under 10 are free!  Sign up early for the lower cost of $25.  We will have sign up available on race day at the start beginning at 7 am for $30. Please bring cash or check.  This race features stunning autumn views passing the peaceful ponds and magnificent woods of Gatewood subdivision.  The course is paved and rolling in terrain with minimal traffic. The NCMC Turkey trot is brought to you by the Weld Legacy Foundation and the CardioVascular Institute of North Colorado. The 14th Annual Stuffing Strut helps prepare you for your Thanksgiving feast before you have it! Join us Thanksgiving morning for a 5K walk/run through Chester Frost Park. All paid participants will receive a race t-shirt to show off at the Thanksgiving table. The inaugural Coalinga Turkey Trot is happening on Thanksgiving morning! Trot your way through the 5K course or walk the 2K (1.2 miles) before you head home to feast.  The event is family-friendly, so make sure to sign up your all of your kids, cousins, aunts and uncles!  The event takes place rain or shine at the Coalinga-Huron Sports Complex on Cambridge Avenue. We are back on the Boone Greenway Trail for the 16th Annual High Country Turkey Trot! Choose from a 5K or 10K timed race or an untimed Fun Run/Walk. Taking place on Thanksgiving morning, The High Country Turkey Trot is open to competitive runners, casual joggers, walkers, and fun runners. Far from just a race, the event is fun for the entire family and includes a live DJ, photo-staging area, costumes, and a picnic shed full of food and hot drinks. The Turkey Trot is a professionally timed event (you'll receive a race bib and chip timing device at packet pickup), but don't let that deter you from coming dressed in your favorite Thanksgiving-themed running gear! The Gobble Gobble Kids Dash is a can't-miss tradition for kids on Thanksgiving. They'll be energized by the roar of the crowd and feel the freedom of wind in their face as they run through the closed-down streets of Court Square in Harrisonburg. The race starts and finishes next to Albemarle High School and features a neighborhood course with flat stretches and gentle rolling hills, totaling 133 feet of elevation gain. Ample parking will be available at Albemarle High School, Journey Middle School, and Greer Elementary. The race proudly supports two local beneficiaries: the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, both of which provide critical food resources to individuals and families in need. The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank serves Central Virginia and is an affiliate of the national organization Feeding America. Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, located directly on the race route, is the largest distributor of food from the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in the Charlottesville area and provides free groceries to families and individuals up to two times per month, with nearly one-third of households

Join us at Smith Mountain Lake State Park for the region's only Turkey Trot - 1 mile and family friendly 5k on November 26th (Thanksgiving) at 9 am! Hosted by LAT Wellness Studio, this race is located on a scenic, asphalt route and welcomes walkers and runners to participate. A portion of proceeds is donated to the state park. The Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot 5K   EVENT INFORMATION Event date is Thursday, November 26, 2026 at beautiful Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, RI! Participants in the 2026 race will enjoy an epic on-field finish inside the Stadium. After the race, we hope you’ll join us at the AAA Insurance Market Plaza inside Centreville Bank Stadium for a post-race drink at the bar (credit card only, no cash) overlooking the Stadium and finish line!   This year’s race will be capped at 3,000 participants.   Youth run for kids aged 12 and under starts at 9:00 a.m. The kids race will be completely inside the stadium, starting and finishing at the 5K finish line. Founded in 1907, the 119th New Orleans Athletic Club's Turkey Day Race stands as the 5th oldest continuous race in the United States. The race begins and ends at Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans City Park, featuring a 5-Mile and a Kids' Half-Mile run/walk. It has become a cherished holiday tradition for families from across the nation, with several generations returning annually to participate. ABOUT THIS EVENTThe 10th Annual Bobcats Turkey Trot 5K is an event organized by the Beaver Bobcats Girls Basketball program. There are two options for this 5K. (1) A chip timed Run/Walk, (2) untimed Fun Run/Walk. Timing provided by Wolf Creek Race Management. COURSEThe 5K course is a beautiful run through the streets of Beaver along the Ohio River. Please note, streets will remain open to traffic.  The route will have signs and volunteers directing the way. A water station will be located at the halfway point of the 5K course. The Gratitude Run is bigger than 3.1 miles. It's a chance to support a local family who is in need. Our Peters Township community nominates a different family each year to benefit from the race. The Murphy Scholarship is Leesville Road High School's first endowed scholarship. Founded in 2011 in memory of Leesville's first principal, Richard J. Murphy, it seeks to inspire incoming students by recognizing the best of our graduating senior class. The major fundraiser for the scholarship is the Leesville Community Turkey Trot, presented by Murray Moyer. Our USATF-certified 5K race takes place on local neighborhood roads and serves as both a great volunteer opportunity and an informal reunion for Leesville alumni and families. OLY TURKEY DAY 4 MILER Start your Thanksgiving morning with a fun and festive tradition at the Oly Turkey Day 4 Miler Run/Walk! Gather your family and friends and enjoy a great 4-mile course that’s perfect for runners and walkers of all levels. It’s a wonderful way to get moving before the holiday feast while celebrating community, health, and gratitude. All participants will receive a chip-timed race bib, finisher medal, and after-race snacks. Registrants will also receive a custom Junk Brand headband with their registration. We are asking that everyone register as soon as possible so that we can have our ducks in a row come race day! Registration will be capped at ~250 people and I will NOT accept race day signups like we have in the past. I'm also asking this year that we do not register kids in strollers, on bikes, or anyone/thing not planning to complete the entire 5k course on their own. This is to help ensure that we leave as many spots open for other racers as possible.
