Join us for the 9th Carson Valley Turkey Trot. This fun run takes place in the beautiful Carson Valley, starting at Minden Park in downtown Minden. Trot through this picturesque downtown neighborhood as a fun way to start the Thanksgiving holiday. Now in its 5th decade, the annual Helena Turkey Trot is a fun run / fundraiser to celebrate the holiday and support local charities. The chip-timed 4-Mile Wobble Gobble Run on Thanksgiving is a festive family event that welcomes runners and walkers of all ages to "wobble" their way through a mostly paved/sidewalk course in downtown Keene. Held annually on Thanksgiving morning, this run/walk has become a beloved community tradition for many, allowing people to kick off the holiday with a healthy dose of fun and exercise before they "gobble" their Thanksgiving feast.   Walkers begin at 8:30 am.  Runners begin at 9:00 am. This is a 5k race in memory of Drew Ceppetelli who passed away on Thanksgiving morning. This is an event that honors her life and raises funds for a scholarship in her name. This is a way for friends, family, and community members to come together and remember her while raising money for a fund used for people to better themselves, a cause that was important to her. The race is an untimed event, which means that participants can run or walk the course at their own pace. The course is designed to be beginner-friendly, with mostly flat terrain, and is suitable for all fitness levels. Participants can register for the race in advance below or on the day of the event between 8 and 9 AM. Donations for the scholarship fund can be made during registration or on the day of the event. New Hope Christian School, located in Smithville, Missouri, is excited to announce their inaugural turkey trail trot 5k on November 27, 2025. This self-timed event will be a fundraiser for the school to support Christian education in Smithville. All proceeds from the race will go toward the New Hope Scholarship Fund which helps defray the cost of tuition for deserving families attending New Hope who demonstrate a financial need. The Amy King 5K Run will be held on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026 at 9:00 am in Jamestown, NY.      Proceeds raised will benefit the Amy King Kids’ YMCA Summer Camp and Southwestern Central School Scholarships.Amy King was a flight attendant on United Flight 175. She was 29 years old on September 11, 2001 when terrorists hijacked her flight.
