Join us for a thrilling, chilling Halloween 5K like no other. This October, something spooky is coming to the storied grounds of Fort Monmouth. Join the skeleton army as it runs (or walks) through a winding path filled with surprises at every turn. A skeleton suit will be provided for all runners, but don’t let that stop you from getting in the Halloween spirit. Costumes of all kinds are highly encouraged for all participants. All participants will receive a skeleton suit, closed course, chip-timed results, and a celebratory beer or soft drink at the official after parties at Baseline Social and Birdsmouth Brewing with live music from Ocean Avenue Stompers. SWIM (Half): 1.2 Miles (Ocean/Channel)BIKE (Half): 56 MilesRUN (Half): 13.1 Miles   The Edisto Island Triathlon Pro-Am is a half iron distance triathlon and is moving into its sixth year in 2026 after five wildly successful events!  This triathlon is held entirely on Edisto Island and Edisto Beach, South Carolina.  This soon to be world famous race features a "with the tide" channel swim and two loop bike that is flat and fast.  The run course is a two loop out and back course along the island's "interior" roads and is one of the flattest run courses you will find.     The swim starts at Live Oak Boat Ramp and will be a with the current, point to point, channel swim which will be wetsuit legal. The course will be fast and will finish at The Marina adjacent to Bay Creek Park.  A very short run off the boat ramp will bring athletes in the transition area.  We will stage the swim based on the tide so swimmers will be swimming WITH the current.  THIS SWIM IS FAST!! The city of Orangeburg will be a hotbed for excitement, energy and enthusiasm.  Join us on October 24, 2025 for the 6th Annual Bulldogs on the Run 5K & Bark.  The mission of the event is to promote health and fitness, while providing financial support to students attending South Carolina State University.   The 5k is a 3.1 mile course that will occur in the downtown area of the Garden City.   The Bark is a 1.0 mile out-and-back route that will stretch along the outskirts of the 5K route. Whether you’re an experienced mountain biker or new to the sport, we’ve got a race you will find enjoyable and challenging. Many are familiar with triathlons competed on paved roads; however, fewer athletes have challenged themselves with an off-road duathlon. The transition area will be set up in the grassy field near the main park office. You’ll start and finish each leg of the duathlon from here. The first leg will be a 5k trail run that will wind through the trails going to the boat ramp. The trails are wide single track and should be a pleasant trail run. You’ll circle back to the transition area and get your bike for the second leg. The bike leg will enter the trail system from the beach to the left/east of the main office. Your ride will take you along the water's edge and through the woods over towards the camping area and Persimmon Beach. The Hot Mess Trail Races take place at Parvin State Park in Pittsgrove, NJ, offering two awesome options: a classic half marathon and a choose-your-own-adventure-style 6 hour ultra. Whether you're here to push your pace or your time on feet, this race is all about trails, community, and getting a little dirty in the woods.The course starts and finishes at Danna Farm Fields, using a mostly flat and fast lollipop-style loop. Big Sur River Run is a benefit race for two important Big Sur community organizations, Big Sur Health Center and Big Sur Fire. There are two races, a 10k and 5k. Both courses are all flat, black-top road loops alongside Big Sur River, through Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park's redwood and oak grove campgrounds. The 10k is a certified course. The Arkansas 20K will start and end at the River Center in Benton. All turns are marked with large signs with arrows. The race will be chip timed. The course will remain open until 11:00am. Temperatures can range from the mid-50s to mid- 80s. Humidity can sometimes be high. The 20K is an excellent test/training run for a fall marathon as well as a challenging race in its own right.
