The Thriller Lake Endurance Run is a 12, 6, and 3 hour timed loop event on the 2.2 mile loop around Miller Lake at Little Mulberry Park in Gwinnett County, GA. The Trick or Treat Fun Run is for kids and adults of all ages looking for a trick or treat experience in a fun, safe, and positive community setting. Join us for our 1st annual Legacy 5K in honor of the late Pastor Frederick T. Anderson. Pastor Anderson is the founding pastor of Covenant Christian Ministries and a leader in Marietta for over 30 years. He and his wife ran a private school, Covenant Christian Ministries Academy, in Marietta for 25 years, which matriculated numerous students who were not only native to Georgia but came from various parts of the world. Since 2016 the church has been meeting at various locations Cobb Galleria, McEachern Auditorium, The Mansour Center, but we settled at Smitha Middle School in 2019. It was Pastor Anderson's goal to build a permanent home for Covenant Christian Ministries, and all proceeds from the 5K will go toward making that vision a reality. The Pumpkin Pacer is a fun 5k trail run/walk/hike through scenic Wrentham conservation land and White Barn Farm property and is the final race in the Farm to Table 5K Series!  It is open to all ages and skill levels.  The Pumpkin Pacer rolls around just in time to celebrate the year's bounty. Celebrate the fall colors and changing seasons with a trail run through Secor and Wiregrass Metroparks!! There will be two races - an 8 miler and a 5K (full disclosure...due to the need to use existing trails, the distances are actually about 7.7 and 3.3 miles. So you have the opportunity to set PR's in a new distance!!). Both races start at Secor Metropark on the all-purpose trail. Runners in the 8 miler will start adjacent to the Secor Room at Secor Park, follow the all-purpose trail counter-clockwise, connect to the Moseley Trail and follow it to Wiregrass Lake, then do a loop around the lake and return on the Moseley and all-purpose trails to the finish at the Secor Room. Runners in the 5K will run one loop of the "long version" of the Secor park all-purpose trail. Both courses are flat and non-technical. Walkers are welcome in the 5K.
