The 2026 Cats & Bats 5K - Saturday, October 31, 2026     For 12 years, this has been the race of choice for your pre-Halloween fun! The Nailed It! Foundations For Hope 5K- October 31, 2026  8am-10am Chipped Time Event Run or Walk 5K Fun For All Jerry Can 5K Relay- will be a (3) person relay with both men's teams and women's teams welcome. Each team will run/walk the 5K with a Jerry can provided by Foundations 4 Hope. The Jerry can will be filled with 5 Gallons (42lbs) of water for men teams and 3 Gallons (25lbs) of water for women teams. Time results end when the last person of each team crosses the finish line. The Silver Comet Half Marathon & Full Marathon are out and back USATF Certified races held entirely on the beautiful Silver Comet Trail just outside Atlanta in Mableton Georgia the last Saturday of each October.  The marathon is a Boston Qualifier event.   Our grass root events are perfect for first timers or competitive runners seeking PRs.  The Silver Comet Trail is beautiful and provides a flat and fast course. Redeem Mi Run is the main annual fundraising event for the Redeem Mi Land project. Whether you run the half marathon, or run/walk the 5k, come out and have fun! We will have a great time getting together, running, and being part of the land redemption project for Redeem Mi Land in Montague, Mi.  This year the race will be on Halloween! Saturday, Oct 31st, and we will have a lot of fun with it! Costume contest, treats, and more. Get ready to have fun. Near the Start and Finish line you see the land itself that will be redeemed. On the surface, it looks fine...but below the surface is the remnants of an old civic dump, the refuse of a past generation simply covered over...like icing on a burnt cake. With the funds raised Redeem Mi Land will unearth this problem; sort and scrap and recycle all that can be, and remove that which can't into a proper landfill. The Boston Mini Marathon and 5K races are certified and professionally timed. They start in downtown Boston, wind through our farm land community and out into the fresh October country air. The entire route is paved, lined with refreshment stands every 2.5 miles and porta-potties at miles 2, 5, 7, and 11. The rolling hills are not extreme, though the final stretch can be a nice uphill challenge. At the finish line are healthy eats and drinks for each participant designed to speed your recovery. After that, roam around the downtown area and enjoy the festival of food, drinks and family-style southern hospitality!

In an effort to help raise awareness and resources,  DA Racine is inviting you to support the annual Trek or Treat 5k Justice Run!   Douglas County District Attorney Dalia Racine partners annually with the ATIR-Wellness Community Inc. to raise funds for local domestic violence support organizations. This year SHAREHouse, the Trinity Center, and the Douglas County Solicitor's Office has partnered alongside the Douglas County District Attorney's Office and the ATIR Community for the race. The 2025 race will take place at Boundary Waters Park located in Douglasville, GA. The course is USATF-certified and an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier! Check-in will begin at 8:30 AM, with the race festivities starting at 9:00 AM. New this year! Come join us for the 5th  annual running of The Boo! On Broad will be Saturday, October 31.  This race is the beginning of the excitement leading into the mayhem that happens on Broad St every Halloween. We will be giving prizes for best costumes, all participants are encouraged to dress up. We will have a 1K Fun Run that starts at 8:00am. The 5K begins at 8:30am. Both races start on Broad St and finish in front of the Statham Elementary School Gym. Proceeds from both runs will benefit the SES and Bear Creek Middle School Running Clubs. The running club at SES is for 4th and 5th graders and the earnings will go to much needed running clothes and apparel for the students. The running club at BCMS includes 6th, 7th and 8th graders. They are also in need of clothes and apparel as well as track and field equipment. Both clubs promote a healthy lifestyle and a source of self-confidence and accomplishment for the students.

Race Description  Join us on October 31th, 2026, for a scenic run through the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest on the historic Ice Age Trail. Participants can choose between 100k and 50k distances. Each finisher will have the opportunity to brand their wooden medal on-site, with the option to have their finishing time burned on the back. Enjoy the stunning fall colors and be part of this memorable event. 100k Elevation - 6,493 50k Elevation - 2,221 Race Course The 100k and 50 races will both start at DJ Mackie Campground, situated on the Scuppernong trails. Participants will navigate the green loop of the Scuppernong trail and proceed to join the Ice Age Trail westward to Emma Carlin. The 50k runners will turn around at Emma Carlin, while the 100k runners will continue on to Whitewater. A relatively new event to close out the Steamboat Springs Running Series season, bringing people of all ages together to celebrate Halloween in a safe, sober and fun way. The Foundry Treatment Center provides an opportunity for lasting recovery through an integrative body, mind and spirit treatment program. Comfortably located in the majestic Rocky Mountains of Steamboat Springs, The Foundry provides a safe and natural setting that encourages instinctive growth for the individual as they forge a new life in their own vision. The course takes place on a mix of trail and road that is guaranteed fun for the whole family.  Halloween costumes are highly encouraged! Leashed dogs are welcome to join too. There will be homemade Halloween treats after the race as well as fun for the whole family…bobbing for apples, face painting and games!
