Hello everybody.          I am Gabriel and I am proud and happy to introduce to you my very first 5 K run/ walk.  This race was inspired by the struggles that mother faced with a horrific disease called diabetes. My mother was an amazing woman who had taken care of herself and health the best way that she could while she was living with this disease.  However, sadly she died last year August of 2024   due to diabetic complications. This was very traumatic for our family.         I’ve personally seen how hard it was for my mother to be able to afford her diabetic medicine when she really needed it, even with the  insurance that she had . Having to pay for medicine while Paying bills and taking care of other household necessities can all be a lot to anybody. What a lot of people don’t know is that unfortunately, whatever insurance won’t pay most have to pay a remaining balance out of pocket.   So, when I think about what she went through with this disease, and I think about how many othe

The Miles for Mary 5K Run and Walk began in 2013 to honor the memory of Mary Park and a growing number of other beloved members of our community. It also serves as a fundraiser for brain cancer research while raising awareness in a scenic and fun setting. This year, we are observing the 14th series of Miles for Mary, which has raised over $850,000. Community education leads to greater awareness of brain cancer and the importance of raising funds for more effective treatments.

Be a part of a celebration of the parks in beautiful Queen Anne's County, Maryland. Just over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, this straight forward event will be a great way to end your season!  Come experience the Matapeake Beach area with a 1/2 mile swim in the Chesapeake Bay, a 12 mile out-and-back bike ride along the straight and flat Route 8 (Romancoke Road) corridor, and then it's back out for an out-and-back 3.1 mile run on the South Island Trail. 2025 Results Link   Trail run 5K at the Leelanau State Park trails off Densmore Road by the Woosley Airport in Northport, Michigan. Expect a challenging and fun trail loop with professional timing and 5-year age groups. Join the Hyattsville Elementary School PTA for the 10th annual Zombie Run! The 10th anniversary Hyattsville Zombie Run will be held in Driskell Park on October 18th! This fun, family-friendly event includes three races: a 1K Family Fun Run, a 1 Mile Kids Run, and a USATF certified 5K, all of which raise funds for our neighborhood schools!  The Hyattsville Zombie Run is organized by volunteers of the Hyattsville Elementary School PTA.

Sean was the finest example of a student-athlete, friend, and teammate. In conjunction with the Dave Bork Classic, our annual Open / Alumni race is named in his honor. Whispering Hills Jellystone Park, located in Ohio’s Amish Country, offers a beautiful and varied terrain including rolling hills with a mix of challenging inclines and relaxing downhill stretches. Wind through the 220 acres, taking in the picturesque fall foliage and views of the countryside. Proceeds from this event will benefit the American Heritage Girls Troop OH-3125 chartered by Ripley Church of Christ in Big Prairie, Ohio. Our mission is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. Funds will be used for supplies, uniforms, activities, and trips. We are a faith-based character-building program for girls in the Shreve and western Holmes County area.

The 2026 Chemin-A-Haut 4 Mile Trail Run and 1 Mile Walk will be the 10th year for the event to take place.  The event is for all that enjoy the beauty of nature. ABSOLUTELY EPIC! No other way to describe our inaugural event. As a result, we are setting the stage for the 2nd Annual Lizard Peak Scramble in Lake Havasu City, AZ to be bigger, better and rowdier. Needless to say, we were stoked at your response.  We had participants from the four corners of AZ, across the Southwest and as far away as Washington, Texas, Montana and Minnesota. Many racers brought the heat. From our 10k to our 5k fun run loop we had people leave it all on the trail.  We had a total of 263 registered participants across all events in 2025 including the Kids Dirt Dash which was an absolute homerun.  For 2026 we are preparing for a significant increase in racers, casual runners and hikers.  If you came last year, you know what a great time it was. The County of Santa Clara Reentry Resource Center and its partners are hosting a 5K run/walk to raise money to support the immediate needs of justice-involved people (clothing, food, hygiene, transportation, etc.). The in-person 5K will take place on Saturday, October 17th at Hellyer County Park with a race start time of 9:00AM. Participants who choose the virtual option can run or walk the race on the day and time of their choice between October 17, 2026, and October 31, 2026. The "March" was the brainchild of Jerry Edmundson, former director of the Dyersburg/Dyer County Union Mission.  Edmundson created the race in 1991 to promote the Mission's youth programs, and the race has been held on Dyersburg's Square the third Saturday of October every year since. In 2016, when the Mission relinquished sponsorship of the event, Sarah Alley and a committee of supporters renewed the race as the Autumn March for ALS Awareness. Proceeds go towards Tennessee ALS Chapter, local Senior Scholarships, and supporting Matthew 25:40, Inc. Sarah Alley has been living with ALS for 13 years. The Katina R. Levingston Tough Kookie 5K is an uplifting community run/walk that celebrates breast cancer survivors while raising awareness and support for those impacted by the disease. Hosted by the Tough Kookie Foundation, the event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages to come together in strength, remembrance, and community.

Matthew, a brave young boy who lost his life at just 9 years old after a valiant fight against leukemia. Throughout his battles, Matthew exemplified incredible resilience and positivity. He continued to attend school, play, and bring joy to those around him with his humor and determination. His unwavering spirit and courage are the driving forces behind Miles 4 Matthew. Matthew's parents and friends established Miles 4 Matthew to offer financial assistance to families facing pediatric cancer while raising awareness and fostering a positive mindset. Matthew, initially diagnosed with ALL at age 4, beat cancer but faced a rare relapse in 2022. Despite his struggles, he remained upbeat and determined. His story inspires us to support others and continue his legacy. We invite you to join us for the Miles 4 Matthew 5K taking place on Saturday, October 18th at No Label Brewing Co. Grab your girl friends or daughters, bring the family and plan for a great weekend at the beach. This is our fourth year for the Beach Girl Triathlon and we have moved it back to the Seaside Resort, in Galveston on Saturday, October 17th.  The swim is a 200 meter pool swim followed by a 8 mile bike and a 2 mile beach run in on the Holiday Inn property. Enjoy a great after party with beverages, great music, food, and more.  This property offers something for everyone; beach, pool, games for the kids, and more. On Saturday, October 17, 2026, enjoy a beautiful run through Sakonnet Vineyard in Little Compton, RI.  Grab some friends and enjoy a trail run finishing amongst the vines.  After the race, there will be dinner, wine, and music in the vineyard.  Race participants will receive a souvenir wine glass as a memento of their experience. The course is approximately 3 miles along varying trails.  It is important to note that this course is uneven, with rocks, ruts and other terrain typical on a trail.  Please go slow and watch your step.   The race begins at 1 pm with bib pick up starting at 11 am, all at Sakonnet Vineyard.  Please plan on arriving at least one hour before the race starts to get checked in and settled for an on-time start.  ***New - Join us for the Wine Run tour!  Sign up for both the Sakonnet and Westport Wine Runs and SAVE!  Select the bundle option. We'll be bringing back this this spooky 5K to the Rochester area. The Rochester Boos & Brews 5K will be heading to Mendon, NY for 2026. The 5K will take place on the Lehigh Valley Trail. Costumes are not required but highly recommended. We will have a costume contest to go along with the Overall Winners and Age Group Winners!  This is truly an event where fun and run collide to make ONE! This event will be a proud partner with David's Refuge (Rochester) as they raise funds to provide respite, resources and support to parents and guardians of children with special needs or life threatening medical conditions where they will be refreshed, restored and renewed in their role as caregivers.
