The Christina Bohn Memorial 5K for PMDD Awareness is a timed run, or it can be walked at your leisure. It is hosted by the Christina Bohn Foundation. The Christina Bohn Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising awareness of and supporting those with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Premenstrual Exacerbation (PME).  This is the third annual Christina Bohn Memorial 5K for PMDD Awareness. We are celebrating the third anniversary of Missouri's PMDD Awareness Day, which is on Christina's birthday, October 2. On November 3, 2021, Christina died by suicide. She was 33 years old, the mother of two young children, had been a thoracic ICU nurse, and was a classically trained vocalist and pianist. The Headless Horseman 5K is BACK and SPOOKIER than ever! This dusk event will be in-person and kick-off at State and Clinton Streets in beautiful Downtown Howell. Costumed participants will wind their way through the historic neighborhoods and through Scofield City Park. Participants will receive a long-sleeved 50/50 blend shirt if registered by the end of the day on September 27th.   Early Packet Pick up will take place Oct. 14th -16th at the Oceola Community Center 1661 N. The 12th Annual Suffolk County Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, Sunday, October 18th, and the 5K will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2026. Sunday's races will start in the Village of Babylon and Finisher in Gardiner Park, located at Montauk Hwy W, Bay Shore, NY 11706. Athletes running the Half & Full Marathon will run one of the most scenic courses on Long Island, as they cross the Robert Moses Causeway. Saturdays races will start and finish at Gardiner County Park. Everybody has a story. Just listen. You never know what is going on behind their smile. Approximately 22 veterans take their own lives PER DAY. At 22 Too Many, they are committed to increasing public knowledge and awareness of PTS. 22 TOO MANY is also devoted to honoring the memory of the fallen who have been lost to suicide, as well as providing comfort and support to their mourning families. Suicide is not only a military issue. A 2024 National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report, 131.2 U.S. adults died by suicide PER DAY. Oktoberfest at Lake of the Ozarks is back with a .5k and a 5k. Yes, you read that right.  In addition to a traditional 5k, we have a one-half K (roughly .31 miles for you non-runners). Starting and finishing at the Sanctuary Brewery in Osage Beach, this will be the 5k of the year! 5K 5k registration is $40 and includes a shirt, a piece of swag, and a coupon for a free beer at The Sanctuary!  There will be an aid station at the turnaround. .5k .5k registration is $15. The Ivoryton Pumpkin Chase is a 5K Road/Trail Race and a Kiddie Pumpkin Fun Run (age 7 and below) to benefit the Ivoryton Library and takes place in peak foliage season of southern New England. The course begins along North Main Street for approximately ½ mile before turning left down Falls River Drive. At the one mile mark, the course enters the Falls River Preserve for a 1.1 mile trail loop that meanders along the Falls River. The trail is double track for about ½ mile before it turns into hilly and rocky single track. Care must be taken on the trail due to the presence some jagged rocks and roots. Please be aware that the trail can be slippery in wet conditions.   Participants will receive a free t-shirt with registration before September 18. Nebraska's Running Road Trip 75ish Miles from Omaha to Lincoln. The largest day-long relay in the nation, the Market to Market® Relay Nebraska takes teams from the Omaha Metro to Downtown Lincoln. Over the course of 75ish miles, teams take on running stages, each stage varying in distance from 3 to 5 miles.  The course follows trails, paved streets and gravel back roads through a diverse and scenic slice of Nebraska. Combine the running with outrageous costumes, memorable van rides, and a lively finish line and it all adds up to 1 unforgettable day. Space is limited and the relay sells out every year.

Commencing just before sunset, run through Red Rock Canyon while enjoying the stunning sunset as day falls into night. Sun is replaced by stars and moonlight guides the way.
