The Sixth Annual Cape Fear 24 Hour endurance run (previously known as Dia De Los Muertos 24 Hour) will be held on a USATF certified, 0.5918-mile asphalt paved loop. The trail surrounds Lillington's Parks and Recreation baseball fields. Most of the trail is flat, except for one small incline. There is plenty of parking and space to setup a site close to your car. Tents will be allowed during the event, but no open-air fires will be allowed. The restrooms are just a few steps off the course. When it gets dark, the Town of Lillington will turn on the park lights so a headlamp will not be necessary. This course will offer you the opportunity to run as far or as little as you want with maximum support.

The City of Salem, known as "Virginia's Championship City", has hosted numerous NCAA National Championships as well as many other national and international sports tournaments. Please join us for a fun race and the opportunity to encourage everyone to #MoveWhatYouCan because "CommunityIsOurSuperpower! Powered to Move’s mission is Putting Christ’s Love in Action by providing people with intellectual and physical disabilities opportunities for physical fitness, social interaction and community connection. All proceeds and donations will be used to support our Adapted Fitness, Wingman and Handcycle program, as well as the activities and events at the Powered to Move Community Center. OCTOBER 10, 2026. The Lake Somerville State Park is unique in that it is actually two parks linked up. The trail that links the two parks is a gorgeous path full of natural habitats and wildlife called The Trailway. For this year, we will run the entire race in the Birch Creek Unit. But we are excited about the future as a huge washed out bridge is expected to get re-built that will gain us access from one side of the lake all the way around to the other side to the Nails Creek Unit (over a marathon of trails one way!). The rest of the park’s trails flow through really fun, canopied, rolling terrain right next to the lake! The start/finish is at a sweet spot on the edge of the lake with a huge grass lawn to relax and play on post-race. While every racer will get some cool swag, September 15 is the deadline to get a shirt. During registration, we are collecting $10 for one day of access to the park. The Sandusky County Park District will be having a 5K and Youth Race on the PK 5K Trail named after local runner Pam Graver- Koenig located on the grounds of Creek Bend Farm- Wilson Nature Center 720 South Main Street, Lindsey, Ohio 43442.   All proceeds will be donated to the Sandusky County Park District. Participants are bused approximately 6 miles east of Estacada to the North Fork Lake start. The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K presented by Riverwalk is a running event that takes place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is a fun-filled event that combines running with music and beer.
