The 5th Annual LOVE NEVER ENDS TRAIL RUN is back in Oklahoma! Join us for a weekend of outdoor adventure and community spirit at the Eagle Nest Ranch (YL Ranch) in Atoka, OK. Home of Reba McEntire!  For all my Texas folks, the drive is so easy and pretty. Straight up Hwy 75, a left turn on W. Boggy Depot Rd. and a right turn on S. Carr Pen Rd (by the rodeo) and 1.5 miles down, you are there. (I'll have signs out to guide you) This privately owned 1,000 acre ranch is filled with old growth trees, lakes, and wildlife. The 26th Annual North American Wife Carrying Championship® returns to Sunday River on Saturday, October 10, 2026, as part of our Fall Fest weekend. It’s weird, wild, and wildly entertaining—this one-of-a-kind event draws competitors and spectators from across the globe to see who has what it takes to carry their partner to victory. Teams race on foot through a 278-yard obstacle course that includes log hurdles, a sand trap, and the fan-favorite “Widow Maker” water hazard. The fastest two teams from the qualifying rounds will advance to a final heat to compete for the championship title—and some pretty quirky prizes, including the wife’s weight in beer and five times her weight in cash. Not Married? No Problem.Couples don’t have to be legally married, but teams must consist of one man and one woman, and both must be at least 21 years old on race day, to qualify for the world championship.

Join us for the 12th Annual Express Your SuperPower 5K/10K, Tot Trot, and Fun Run—presented by the Northwest Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition and Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition. Annual fundraising event for the Community Dinner Table and the Blackfoot Rotary Club 5k and 10k run or walk for all ages, kids have their own event, a half mile run. Held the 2nd Saturday in October at Jensen's Grove in Blackfoot Idaho.

Experience one of North Idaho’s most picturesque settings, with courses winding around the crystal-clear waters of Hayden Lake and through forests of towering pines.

The first donkey race in Idaho! 3, 6 & 9 mile burro race. Walkers and hikers are welcome. You must have your own donkey-no "rentals" will be available. The course will be run as an out and back along the Weiser River Trail following the Weiser River through canyons and open farm land on the old Pacific and Idaho Northern railroad corridor. There is very little elevation change on the course.  What is Burro Racing?  First, let's talk about what a burro is. “Burro” is the Spanish word for donkey. “Pack burro racing is a sport in Colorado, Arizona, California, and New Mexico that is rooted in the various western state's mining histories.[1] In the early days of the mining industry in Colorado, miners would take donkeys (burros in Spanish) through the mountains of Colorado while prospecting. Because the burros were carrying supplies, the miners could not ride the animals and so they would walk, leading the donkey. Burro races are held throughout small towns in Colorado,

The 2026 River Roux Olympic Triathlon will be held on October 10th!   River Roux features a 1.5K swim, 40K bike ride, and a 10K run in historic New Roads. The race has aquabike, duathlon, and relay divisions.  It wraps up with awards and a finish fest in the greenspace across from transition. ​ RKF is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create and sustain active, fit and healthy children, families and communities through programming, advocacy and education, as an effort to fight childhood obesity through multisport events and camp scholarship and grant programs.  RKF also gives back to local schools/clubs in the cities that welcome us there, such as Boy Scouts, parish and city programs, 4-H, local schools, and more.   Entries are limited to 300 competitors.  SWIMThe swim course will be a double loop clockwise swim that begins and ends at the floating dock. The AthHalf packs all that Athens has to offer into exciting half marathon and 5K courses! The half marathon course includes a run through Athens’ historic districts, downtown, and the UGA campus, with local Athens bands performing live throughout the course. The 5K course explores downtown Athens and the Boulevard neighborhood with a live band at the start and finish line to help you celebrate your accomplishment. Athens residents come out in force to cheer on and entertain runners along the way, adding to the fun energy of these popular events. We will spend the hours from 4pm-6pm connecting and then at 6:30pm we will begin lighting the luminaries and begin the moment of silence as we walk amongst the lighted names of those whose lives were unfairly cut short from this diagnosis. The Tails & TaTas Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Run/Walk in partnership with Swope Family of Dealerships will be held in a hybrid format allowing both virtual and in-person participation. The start/finish line for the dog-friendly run will begin at the Swope Toyota Dealership and wind through Freeman Lake Park. We have also added a 1-mile fun run for the 12 and under group. As in the past10 years, all funds will be given to the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin.  For the 5k Run - Awards will be given to the overall 1st place finisher male & female runners.  For the 1 mile fun run - Awards will be given for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place male & female runners. The Race for the Golden Helix 5K (GH5K) is an annual 5 km (3.1 mile) open-road race around the beautiful campus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. The GH5K is professionally timed.  All parking on the Tennessee Tech University campus is free and available to the public on the weekends. You will not be ticketed unless you park in a spot that is specifically reserved. The best parking for the race is behind the TN Tech STEM Center, along Stadium Drive, near the Laboratory Science Commons (LSC) and Stonecipher Auditorium. The race is organized by the Student Affiliates of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) with the assistance of the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) and the Chem-Med Club. Enjoy the Hill Country that surrounds this stunning ONE THOUSAND acre ranch. We can't wait to see you out there!  The Mammoth - Glen Rose, TX is a multi-distance trail running event located on the trails High Hope Ranch and Eco-Retreat. Distances offered are 100K, 50K, 25K, 10K, 5K and The Mighty Mammoth 1K FUN RUN. There will be two sections of the course: a 3.5-mile loop and a 7-mile loop. Both loops combined equal a 10.5 mile lap. The event will run from 7 am on Saturday morning until 9 am on Sunday morning. The starting line and Main Race Hub will be the main lodge on the Ranch. There are two aid stations on course: the main lodge at the starting line, and Matazamo ranch house. Aid stations are approximately 3.5 miles apart.

It is time for our 16th Annual event!  Year 15 for our event was amazing and we hope this year is just as successful.  While we are so blessed with all of the support we have received over the, we are also reminded that it has been 16 years since we lost our beloved Julia.  She touched so many lives while she was with us, and is still touching so many lives today, through this event.   We are so excited to continue Julia's legacy by holding this race for the 16th year, while raising and donating money to some amazing organizations and individuals.    Once again, we will be holding our event at SMITHVILLE LAKE !    We will start at finish the race at the Little Platte Beach area - this will allow for plenty of parking, a section of road running, then hitting the paved trails to see the beauty of the lake on a beautiful fall morning !   As always we will pray for a beautiful fall morning for the event. The Second Annual Backyard Ultra marathon in New Town, Missouri will be held October 10th, 2026. Event registration will start at 7:00 AM, and the race will begin at 8:00 AM. The event will consist of a 4.17 mile loop and runners will have up until the next hour to be back in time to start the next loop. Registration for the event is $25 to cover costs, but to run each loop you must put a dollar into a race jar. The winner of this last person standing race will receive half of the jar, while the other half will be donated to MSMDS charity. If you just want to come run some laps but can’t start at 8:00 AM, we would love to see you come out and try to PR at any hour time slot. (you just won’t be able to win the overall money jar prize.)
