Run or walk on this certified course at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton in honor or memory of someone who has been impacted by breast cancer. Proceeds to benefit Sharsheret and other community outreach programs to increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection and provide support and resources to those in our local community. The Sun City Barry James Memorial 5K and Half Marathon are put on every year by the Hard Core Running Club of Central Washington. They take place on the second Sunday of October at Volution Fitness, this year at a new location on University Parkway in Terrace Heights, Washington, just east of Yakima. The 5K and half marathon both start and end at Volution. There will be aid stations at miles 3.5, 7, and 10. The half marathon is a favorite race of many participants with rolling hills alongside orchards. Race fee is $15 for Hard Core Runner Members, $20 for non-members, and youth under age 12 are free.  Costs go up to $22 on October 1st. Day of race entries will be $25.

On October 11 St. Mary’s and Bates College are teaming up for a 5K Run/Walk and Kids Obstacle Course. The event is aptly named Steps for Hope. Our collective goal is to raise funds to expand the spaces available for behavioral health hospitalization and bring awareness to the mental health crises affecting our youth and adults from our community and every corner of Maine.

The 15th Annual Nantucket Half Marathon! Sunday, October 11th, 2026 at 8:00 am The Nantucket Half Marathon is one of the most scenic half marathon courses on the East Coast!  Runners' World recognized the Nantucket Half Marathon as one of the nation's top ten beach town races!  Set on iconic Nantucket Island, the course travels through sandy beach roads, bike paths, lightly traveled neighborhood streets, a few patches of sand, and features incredible ocean views. The 2025 race was challenging with high wind and an impending storm.  The route begins and ends at historic Bartlett's Farm and highlights the Nantucket Land Bank's Smooth Hummocks Coastal Preserve.  The Preserve is a globally rare sand plain grassland ecosystem.  There is also a free kids fun run!  Each kid gets a treasured Bartlett's Farm pumpkin!  There will not be a Quarter Marathon Option this year, so start training- you will have to run the entire course!  This is one of the best half marathon's

Rather than end the multi-sport season with a bang, these athletes end their season with a SCREAM!  Monster Triathlon 2026 marks year 21 and will sell-out early with over 700 athletes! The distances are FAST for the experienced athletes and just right for the beginner. At Monster Keller, you will enjoy the beautiful indoor pool of the Keller Natatorium for a 300 meter swim; jump on your bike for 14.3 miles, and finish strong with a 3.1 mile run. Each event is a little different at the finish line. Some have live bands, but ALL of the events are filled with energy and WONDERFUL costumes which are ENCOURAGED! This is a great race to end your triathlon season!   WEATHER POLICY In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Registration is Live! We are excited to be hosting year 4 of a sprint triathlon in the Bryan/College Station area benefiting the local nonprofit First Win in honor of John C. Webb. The Marathon is a Boston qualifier. The race starts and finishes at the Dyerville Bridge.

Set PRs and qualify for the Boston Marathon on this fast, downhill course! Total net downhill loss for the marathon is 929 feet making it the PERFECT course to qualify on! Per official B.A.A. confirmation, there will be no time penalties assessed for this course. All races in 2026 will be Sunday, October 11. The marathon and 50K start at 8:00 AM at Mason Station Trailhead on McCoy Road with an out-and-back before jumping onto the Bizz Johnson Trail at Mason Station where the races travel through scenic Lassen National Forest. The first few miles of the course climb approximately 280 feet through the forest to Westwood Junction, then it’s downhill to the finish at Susanville, with a 1300-foot descent over the final 20 miles. The trail follows the route of the old Fernley and Lassen Branch Line of the Southern Pacific Railroad, built in 1914. Welcome to the annual Latitude-Fall Triathlon (previously known as the Bolivar Live) at Fort Travis Seashore Park located on the Bolivar Peninsula. This beautiful and historical property will the site for the Latitude Triathlon on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The swim will take place in the Gulf of Mexico with a protected barrier on both sides, the bike will take place on Hwy. 87 with an out and back route (Two loops for Olympic and one loop for sprint) and a run through a local neighborhood with beautiful views of the gulf.
