The road course(s) are extremely flat (see elevation map- link below) and will take you along the south side of Oneida Lake, New York State's largest inland Lake with many scenic views of this impressive lake. If you are looking for a fast (PR) for your Half Marathon,10K pr 5K, look no further. The Start/Finish area will be at Bridgeport Fire Department in Bridgeport, NY.  All finishers (13.1, 10K & 5K) will receive a finisher medal.  The race event benefactor is Cancer Connects- a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides programs and services to facilitate the cancer journey for cancer patients throughout Central NY State (http://www.cancerconnects.org/). Enjoy the stunning views of Red Rock Canyon while helping us preserve and protect your beautiful public lands!   Tortoise Trot 5K Walk/Run A 5k-ish trail run/walk starting and finishing at the Visitor Center, the scenic Tortoise Trot course gives you a 360 degree view of one of Southern Nevada’s most spectacular vistas. Part road, part trail, this event encompasses the Moenkopi loop and will be scenic and fun for the whole family. Participants 5 to11 years old must be accompanied by an adult for safety.  No on-course jogging strollers or dogs are permitted. Dino Dash is back and bigger than before!  Last year, we proudly raised over $7,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wichita County. This year, we're aiming to double that amount, and we need your help! Join us for the Dino Dash 5K Fun Run on October 11th at SIKES LAKE. Expect to see dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes as you run! The Big Pig Cancer Foundation is proud to present the 2025 Ray Porter Memorial 6 Hour Endurance Race and Fundraiser. This event features the Ray Porter Memorial 6 Hour Endurance mountain bike race.  The Big Pig Cancer Foundation cooking trailer will be serving the traditional favorites cooked up on the Flying Pig BBQ machine. All proceeds from this event benefit local patients who are battling cancer. Get ready for The Mammoth Race Glen Rose FALL migration. This multi-distance trail run welcomes families and runners of all skill levels. Enjoy the Hill Country that surrounds this stunning ONE THOUSAND acre ranch. We can't wait to see you out there!  The Mammoth - Glen Rose, TX is a multi-distance trail running event located on the trails High Hope Ranch and Eco-Retreat. Distances offered are 100K, 50K, 25K, 10K, 5K and The Mighty Mammoth 1K FUN RUN. There will be two sections of the course: a 3.5-mile loop and a 7-mile loop. Both loops combined equal a 10.5 mile lap. The event will run from 7 am on Saturday morning until 9 am on Sunday morning. The starting line and Main Race Hub will be the main lodge on the Ranch. There are two aid stations on course: the main lodge at the starting line, and Matazamo ranch house. Aid stations are approximately 3.5 miles apart.

The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K presented by Riverwalk is a running event that takes place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is a fun-filled event that combines running with music and beer. Join us on October 10th, 2026 for the Frackville Fright to benefit the Hillside SPCA of Pottsville. The Frackville Fright will begin and end at the Elks Lodge, Frackville. This will be a night run so bring your flashlights and glow sticks! The course will take you through the rolling streets of Frackville. Our annual Walk For Life 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026. This is a timed race starting and finishing at Doodle Park in Pickens, SC. The race will be ran on a Certified Course. The 5K Run/Walk is family friendly for all ages and a great way to involve your family in supporting the sanctity of life! We are a pregnancy care center serving families in Pickens County and surrounding areas during and after pregnancy. We believe that life begins at conception and that salvation comes through belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All proceeds from this race will go directly to Hope Women's Center in supporting their ministry. The race will begin at 9:00AM.  Awards will be presented around 10:00am. Join us on October 10th, 2026 for the Frackville Fright to benefit the Hillside SPCA of Pottsville. The Frackville Fright will begin and end at the Elks Lodge, Frackville. This will be a night run so bring your flashlights and glow sticks! The course will take you through the rolling streets of Frackville. There will be gentle inclines, some not so gentle inclines, with a downhill finish. This event is open to all ages and abilities. Walkers are welcome! Come dressed in your scariest, funniest, or group costumes for a chance to win some prizes! Top 3 overall runners will receive unique Frackville Fright awards as well as the top 2 in each age group. Location: TVA Melton Hill Dam area, directions below. Race walk through Friday at 6 PM at race site. Arrive at site Saturday no than 7 AM EST for ample time for parking, packet pickup and getting ready for event starting promptly at 8 AM EST. The Race for the Golden Helix 5K (GH5K) is an annual 5 km (3.1 mile) open-road race around the beautiful campus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. The GH5K is professionally timed.  All parking on the Tennessee Tech University campus is free and available to the public on the weekends. You will not be ticketed unless you park in a spot that is specifically reserved. The best parking for the race is behind the TN Tech STEM Center, along Stadium Drive, near the Laboratory Science Commons (LSC) and Stonecipher Auditorium. The race is organized by the Student Affiliates of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) with the assistance of the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) and the Chem-Med Club. Lick Skillet Farm hosts its fifth annual end-of-season fall fundraiser and farm celebration: rides at every level followed by a great party at the farm! Four totally new scenic back-road routes: 12-, 25-, & 40-mile options, a re-mapped metric century, AND a brand new 75 mile option. The twelve-miler is flat and family-friendly, with extra SAG, perfect for kids or anyone who wants an easy day on great roads. OCTOBER 10, 2026. The Lake Somerville State Park is unique in that it is actually two parks linked up. The trail that links the two parks is a gorgeous path full of natural habitats and wildlife called The Trailway. For this year, we will run the entire race in the Birch Creek Unit. But we are excited about the future as a huge washed out bridge is expected to get re-built that will gain us access from one side of the lake all the way around to the other side to the Nails Creek Unit (over a marathon of trails one way!). The rest of the park’s trails flow through really fun, canopied, rolling terrain right next to the lake! The start/finish is at a sweet spot on the edge of the lake with a huge grass lawn to relax and play on post-race. While every racer will get some cool swag, September 15 is the deadline to get a shirt. During registration, we are collecting $10 for one day of access to the park.
