The first donkey race in Idaho! 3, 6 & 9 mile burro race. Walkers and hikers are welcome. You must have your own donkey-no "rentals" will be available. The course will be run as an out and back along the Weiser River Trail following the Weiser River through canyons and open farm land on the old Pacific and Idaho Northern railroad corridor. There is very little elevation change on the course.  What is Burro Racing?  First, let's talk about what a burro is. “Burro” is the Spanish word for donkey. “Pack burro racing is a sport in Colorado, Arizona, California, and New Mexico that is rooted in the various western state's mining histories.[1] In the early days of the mining industry in Colorado, miners would take donkeys (burros in Spanish) through the mountains of Colorado while prospecting. Because the burros were carrying supplies, the miners could not ride the animals and so they would walk, leading the donkey. Burro races are held throughout small towns in Colorado,

Come run or walk the Best Dam Run! This point-to-point 10K course features views of pristine waters, shading forests, interesting geology and bald eagles, osprey and colorful waterfowl. Participants are bused approximately 6 miles east of Estacada to the North Fork Lake start. The course meanders along the wild and scenic Clackamas River for most of your journey to the downtown Estacada finish line.   Post-race food and awards will take place near the finish line at SE 4th Ave and Broadway.  After your event you can also stroll along the shops and venues of Estacada. This event is limited to 750 entrants so don't wait and register now!

Join us on October 10th, 2026 for the Frackville Fright to benefit the Hillside SPCA of Pottsville. The Frackville Fright will begin and end at the Elks Lodge, Frackville. This will be a night run so bring your flashlights and glow sticks! The course will take you through the rolling streets of Frackville. The Sandusky County Park District will be having a 5K and Youth Race on the PK 5K Trail named after local runner Pam Graver- Koenig located on the grounds of Creek Bend Farm- Wilson Nature Center 720 South Main Street, Lindsey, Ohio 43442.   All proceeds will be donated to the Sandusky County Park District. Online Fee : 5K $20 by 10/4/26, Youth 1 K $8 by 10/4/26. Pre registered runners will receive a soft style shirt and participation ribbon. There is an upcharge of $2 for Adult 2Xl sized shirts. The City of Salem, known as "Virginia's Championship City", has hosted numerous NCAA National Championships as well as many other national and international sports tournaments. In 2016, we decided to branch out and bring that "Championship" mentality to running! The races start and finish at the Salem Farmers Market in downtown Salem, VA and take you on a scenic tour of Salem through neighborhoods, Roanoke College, and the downtown business district. We have partnered with Blue Ridge Racing, the area's leading road race management organization to produce these events. The event will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 taking off from Chickahominy Riverfront Park. The run will start out going over the Chickahominy River Bridge, out on the Capital Trail and then back in to the park for a full 5K or 10K. The entire run will take place on the well maintained Capital Trail. This is a Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix event, and awards will be given for various age groups. The Grove Trotter 5K/10K Bridge Run is a fundraising event to support Grove Christian Outreach Center. Experience an adventure race unlike anything else—paddle, pedal, and pace your way on the Conemaugh River to the West Penn Trail in the scenic, historic town of Saltsburg, PA. Solo racers must be at least 15 years old. Participants ages 12–14 may compete as part of a team, provided they do not complete the paddle segment on their own. E‑bikes are not permitted. Experience an adventure race unlike anything else—paddle, pedal, and pace your way on the Conemaugh River to the West Penn Trail in the scenic, historic town of Saltsburg, PA. Solo racers must be at least 15 years old. Participants ages 12–14 may compete as part of a team, provided they do not complete the paddle segment on their own. E‑bikes are not permitted. Early registration opens April 1, 2026, and closes at 1 p.m. on October 8, 2026. Note: The paddle course will be finalized closer to race day based on river conditions.

The Race for the Golden Helix 5K (GH5K) is an annual 5 km (3.1 mile) open-road race around the beautiful campus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. The GH5K is professionally timed.  All parking on the Tennessee Tech University campus is free and available to the public on the weekends. You will not be ticketed unless you park in a spot that is specifically reserved. The best parking for the race is behind the TN Tech STEM Center, along Stadium Drive, near the Laboratory Science Commons (LSC) and Stonecipher Auditorium. The race is organized by the Student Affiliates of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) with the assistance of the Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) and the Chem-Med Club. Lick Skillet Farm hosts its fifth annual end-of-season fall fundraiser and farm celebration: rides at every level followed by a great party at the farm! Four totally new scenic back-road routes: 12-, 25-, & 40-mile options, a re-mapped metric century, AND a brand new 75 mile option. The twelve-miler is flat and family-friendly, with extra SAG, perfect for kids or anyone who wants an easy day on great roads. Experienced riders will find both the Metric Century and the 3/4 century to be enjoyably challenging.  The 4 longer rides start at 10am, with the 12 miler starting at 10:05am.  Parking, registration, and ride start are at New Market Elementary, 1559 Old A.J. Dino Dash is back and bigger than before!  Last year, we proudly raised over $7,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wichita County. This year, we're aiming to double that amount, and we need your help! Join us for the Dino Dash 5K Fun Run on October 11th at SIKES LAKE. Expect to see dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes as you run! The Big Pig Cancer Foundation is proud to present the 2025 Ray Porter Memorial 6 Hour Endurance Race and Fundraiser. This event features the Ray Porter Memorial 6 Hour Endurance mountain bike race.  The Big Pig Cancer Foundation cooking trailer will be serving the traditional favorites cooked up on the Flying Pig BBQ machine. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Citizens Medical Center will host the10th Annual Citizens Run Against Cancer Half-Marathon and 5K in Victoria, Texas! All proceeds from this event benefit local patients who are battling cancer. As the proud home of the Kathryn O’Connor Regional Cancer Center, Citizens Medical Center cares for a large population of the region’s cancer patients with a comprehensive cancer program, expert physicians, a compassionate, knowledgeable staff, and advanced screening and treatment technology. Since its inception in 2017, more than $150,000 has been raised to benefit local cancer patients through the Citizens Run Against Cancer.
