The Second Annual Backyard Ultra marathon in New Town, Missouri will be held October 10th, 2026. Event registration will start at 7:00 AM, and the race will begin at 8:00 AM. The event will consist of a 4.17 mile loop and runners will have up until the next hour to be back in time to start the next loop. Registration for the event is $25 to cover costs, but to run each loop you must put a dollar into a race jar. The winner of this last person standing race will receive half of the jar, while the other half will be donated to MSMDS charity. If you just want to come run some laps but can’t start at 8:00 AM, we would love to see you come out and try to PR at any hour time slot. (you just won’t be able to win the overall money jar prize.) The Cloquet River Run is a fun, family-friendly event organized by Churchill Elementary Partners In Education to promote health and wellness for the students and families of Churchill Elementary. The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K presented by Riverwalk is a running event that takes place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is a fun-filled event that combines running with music and beer. The Sixth Annual Cape Fear 24 Hour endurance run (previously known as Dia De Los Muertos 24 Hour) will be held on a USATF certified, 0.5918-mile asphalt paved loop. The trail surrounds Lillington's Parks and Recreation baseball fields. Most of the trail is flat, except for one small incline. There is plenty of parking and space to setup a site close to your car. Tents will be allowed during the event, but no open-air fires will be allowed. The restrooms are just a few steps off the course. When it gets dark, the Town of Lillington will turn on the park lights so a headlamp will not be necessary. This course will offer you the opportunity to run as far or as little as you want with maximum support.

Come run or walk the Best Dam Run! This point-to-point 10K course features views of pristine waters, shading forests, interesting geology and bald eagles, osprey and colorful waterfowl. Participants are bused approximately 6 miles east of Estacada to the North Fork Lake start. The course meanders along the wild and scenic Clackamas River for most of your journey to the downtown Estacada finish line.   Post-race food and awards will take place near the finish line at SE 4th Ave and Broadway.  After your event you can also stroll along the shops and venues of Estacada. The Sandusky County Park District will be having a 5K and Youth Race on the PK 5K Trail named after local runner Pam Graver- Koenig located on the grounds of Creek Bend Farm- Wilson Nature Center 720 South Main Street, Lindsey, Ohio 43442.   All proceeds will be donated to the Sandusky County Park District. Online Fee : 5K $20 by 10/4/26, Youth 1 K $8 by 10/4/26. Pre registered runners will receive a soft style shirt and participation ribbon. There is an upcharge of $2 for Adult 2Xl sized shirts. Race day shirts are only available while they last on Race Day. Race day registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the barn area. 5k race will start at 10 am with the Youth 1k around 11 am. No dogs or other pets permitted on course during the race. Race will be held rain or shine. No refunds. We reserve the right to cancel if deemed unsafe to proceed due to weather or unforseen circumstances.

OCTOBER 10, 2026. The Lake Somerville State Park is unique in that it is actually two parks linked up. The trail that links the two parks is a gorgeous path full of natural habitats and wildlife called The Trailway. For this year, we will run the entire race in the Birch Creek Unit. But we are excited about the future as a huge washed out bridge is expected to get re-built that will gain us access from one side of the lake all the way around to the other side to the Nails Creek Unit (over a marathon of trails one way!). The rest of the park’s trails flow through really fun, canopied, rolling terrain right next to the lake! The start/finish is at a sweet spot on the edge of the lake with a huge grass lawn to relax and play on post-race. Swim The Loop starts and finishes at the Dockside Restaurant, which is located on Airlie Road (Wilmington side of the Intracoastal Waterway). The race will start at a high tide to ensure an even, but challenging tide pattern throughout the 3.5-mile swim. Don’t be fooled though; there will be times of incoming tide, falling tide and some slack tide. Mott’s Channel Sprint starts at the Trailborn Surf & Sound, located on Wrightsville Beach, and finishes across the intracoastal at the Dockside Restaurant on Airlie Road. The course is approximately 1.3 miles long and is a point-to-point swim. The race will start at a high tide to try and ensure a slight incoming to slack tide throughout the 1.3-mile swim.
