On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Citizens Medical Center will host the10th Annual Citizens Run Against Cancer Half-Marathon and 5K in Victoria, Texas! All proceeds from this event benefit local patients who are battling cancer. As the proud home of the Kathryn O’Connor Regional Cancer Center, Citizens Medical Center cares for a large population of the region’s cancer patients with a comprehensive cancer program, expert physicians, a compassionate, knowledgeable staff, and advanced screening and treatment technology. Since its inception in 2017, more than $150,000 has been raised to benefit local cancer patients through the Citizens Run Against Cancer. Get ready for The Mammoth Race Glen Rose FALL migration. This multi-distance trail run welcomes families and runners of all skill levels. Enjoy the Hill Country that surrounds this stunning ONE THOUSAND acre ranch. We can't wait to see you out there!  The Mammoth - Glen Rose, TX is a multi-distance trail running event located on the trails High Hope Ranch and Eco-Retreat. Distances offered are 100K, 50K, 25K, 10K, 5K and The Mighty Mammoth 1K FUN RUN. There will be two sections of the course: a 3.5-mile loop and a 7-mile loop. Both loops combined equal a 10.5 mile lap. The event will run from 7 am on Saturday morning until 9 am on Sunday morning. The starting line and Main Race Hub will be the main lodge on the Ranch. There are two aid stations on course: the main lodge at the starting line, and Matazamo ranch house. Aid stations are approximately 3.5 miles apart.

Lick Skillet Farm hosts its fifth annual end-of-season fall fundraiser and farm celebration: rides at every level followed by a great party at the farm! Four totally new scenic back-road routes: 12-, 25-, & 40-mile options, a re-mapped metric century, AND a brand new 75 mile option. The twelve-miler is flat and family-friendly, with extra SAG, perfect for kids or anyone who wants an easy day on great roads. The Race for the Golden Helix 5K (GH5K) is an annual 5 km (3.1 mile) open-road race around the beautiful campus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. The GH5K is professionally timed.  All parking on the Tennessee Tech University campus is free and available to the public on the weekends. You will not be ticketed unless you park in a spot that is specifically reserved. The best parking for the race is behind the TN Tech STEM Center, along Stadium Drive, near the Laboratory Science Commons (LSC) and Stonecipher Auditorium. This trail run is so special and so different from what you will experience in the city. Run through the hills and knobs of the Beautiful Forkland Community. Your registration includes your ticket to the Forkland Festival pancake breakfast and of course a T shirt. Then plan on spending some time at the festival enjoying the crafts and music. The run starts with a grueling quarter mile uphill trek followed by open meadows and woodland trails and finishing with a downhill run to the finish line. The unique handmade awards will be presented at the pancake breakfast in the shelter behind the Community Center. Once you've experienced this unique trail run you will want to return every year. If you're not into running, enjoy a walk through the countryside with friends. The Run The Ridge 5K, 10K, and 25K Trail Run is a culturally and historically significant event as runners will be traveling some of the same dirt roads and beautiful overlooks that Father of Bluegrass Music, Bill Monroe, and his beloved Uncle Pen did. This will be a fun but challenging event with steep inclines and declines to navigate going up to the top of the Ridge and coming back down. The scenic course winds “high in the hills of ‘ol Kentucky,” as Monroe put it. The race will start and finish at the celebrated Bill Monroe Homeplace and will feature plenty of great bluegrass music, including live bluegrass on the course. Run the Ridge coincides with two other Bill Monroe Foundation events, “Pickin’ on the Porch” and “Camping and Jamming.”  A live bluegrass band will perform free-of-charge Saturday evening on the Homeplace porch.  Runners are encouraged to stay and enjoy the show.  Dinner at 5:00, music at 6:00.  Bluegrass pickers and enthusiasts will be camping throughout the week

Lori’s Voice 5k: Pathways to Possibilities, a meaningful and family-friendly professionally timed 5K trail race co-hosted by Lori’s Voice and the City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department. The race begins at the Kentwood Community Center and guides participants along beautiful portions of Kentwood’s neighborhoods and trail system. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to walk, roll, or run in support of an incredible cause. All proceeds from the event will provide financial assistance to families of children under 21 living with neuromuscular and degenerative diseases. Funds help cover the cost of adaptive equipment, travel for medical care, therapies, and other essential needs not fully covered by insurance—giving kids the chance to move beyond restrictions and embrace new possibilities.

A fast, fun and challenging course utilizing Fort Custer's red, green & yellow trails awaits you!  Whether you're looking to keep up your conditioning as Iceman awaits or perhaps attempting your first Mountain Bike race, Custer's Last Stand is a great race for you. Welcome to the 2nd annual Anderson Lake Backyard Ultra.  This is a 24-hour capped backyard ultra.  Join us for a fun-filled day (and night) of running and camaraderie.  We can’t say enough that this race is for just about everybody. This isn’t your typical ultra-marathon. We emphasize doing your best, rather than strict competition. Runners will run one 4.167-mile loop every hour, on the hour, for up to 24 hours. As long as you can make it back to basecamp and the start corral before the next hour, you’ll get to do another loop. The goal is to have fun, enjoy the company of fellow runners, and push yourself as far as you’d like. October is the peak of fall colors at Independence Oaks, so you will be running and walking through some of the most wonderfully decorated hardwood forests in southeastern Michigan, as well as on wood chip trails. Choose from any of three races of varying lengths - all beginning and ending at the same location. The 2.5 Mile race makes a single circuit around Crooked Lake, with rolling hills. The challenging 5.5 Mile race continues a second time around the lake and branches off onto Rock Ridge Trail. The longest 8.5 Mile race includes a third lap, continuing onto Spring Lake Trail, and is not for the faint of heart.

Join us for the 12th Annual Heroes 5K run /2K walk, a charity event hosted by Shields of Hope that aims to spread hope, love, and encouragement to those impacted by cancer in the West Michigan community.  We remember Shauna Smith, who bravely fought cancer, and honor Thoe Kok, who is currently battling brain cancer. The event is open to everyone, including public safety, EMS, and military personnel, who are encouraged to participate in full gear. We invite those affected by cancer to join us in honor of or in memory of a loved one who has faced or is facing this challenging fight. Remember, NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!
