This race is a beginner friendly twist on the traditional trail run.  It will be held at 1North Adventure Trails in Blanchard. TTTTP is a different format than your traditional race.  It's designed to make running fun by utilizing a game you've known since childhood....tic-tac-toe.  You will be timed and your distance will be recorded but there will be no age groups and no overall winners. The goal is 3 O’s in a row but there will be other ways to win as well.   The Rules:  Each runner will compete in a game of skill or chance at the completion of each lap. For example: the runner will roll a 6 sided die that has an equal # of X's and O's.  If the player rolls a O, then the player gets to decide where an O is placed on their tic-tac-toe bib.  If a player rolls a X, the worker puts an x on the tic-tac-toe bib. course is always x, player is always O. Yes, they will be instructed to block you and no amount of begging on your part will dissuade them.  Second loop for examp

The 19th Annual 5K walk/run presented by Buena Vista Regional Medical Center begins and ends at the hospital and runs along a portion of Storm Lake's beautiful lake. Proceeds support those in treatment for cancer at BVRMC. Donations are welcome and can be made through the event website at time of registration.  No dogs, in-line skates, skateboards, scooters or bikes on course. No registration necessary for children in strollers.

Half Marathon and 5K trail races located in Mountwood Park - 15 miles east of Parkersburg, WV on U.S. Route 50.  Take the Volcano Road exit and the main parking lot is about one half mile by the boat ramp.  The half marathon has a 4 hour time limit - any participant over 2 hours at the halfway point will be routed to the finish.  T-shirts guaranteed if registered by September 6.  Runners must be at least 15 years old to participate in the half marathon.  Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall male and female in all races.  One age group award in all 3 races for the following age groups: Under 15 (5K only), 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk? The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Bringing this fun and challenging race to WV!!!!   You are invited to this unique race experience that has something for everyone. From new runners to experienced ultra runners, the start will be a cinch. But the longer you last, the more the Countdown will demand from you. And all we ask is that you demand the most of yourself, holding off your own "Final Countdown" as long as possible.   The course is a 1.33 mile loop located on the property of Amani Brewery. Their grass path is taken care of and mowed all year round. It is a smooth, fast trail, with a small hill or two. "Hyatt's Run With the Angels" 5K course is a beautiful 3.1 mile out and back course at the base of the Laurel Mountains set at Pine Springs Camp in Somerset County, PA.   This Annual Event is being hosted by the "Hyatt's Angels" Foundation, and all net proceeds will go to help provide need based financial and emotional assistance to families who have suffered the loss of a child.  Early registration runs through 11:59 pm on Monday, August 23rd, and includes a FREE RACE TEE.  Late registration is from August 24th through 11:59 pm on September 18th.  Race Day registration will be from 7:30 am to 8:30 am on Race Day, Saturday, September 19th.  No shirt guarantee for late or race day registrations. We will be hosting the 16th annual “Half Marathon”, 10k, and 5k run/walk in recognition and remembrance of the nineteen brothers and one sister from its ranks who made the ultimate sacrifice since September 11, 2001.  The race course is located in Oklahoma City, OK, at the OKC river trail, to facilitate a larger participant population.  The twenty fallen heroes will be honored individually with recognition beginning at the Starting Line, then at each mile marker along the 13.1-mile course, and finally at the finish line.  A banner will be placed at each of the 15 points highlighting one of the warriors with a photo and a brief bio detailing their lives and sacrifices. *This is not a sanctioned race.*

The Swazi 5K is a popular event in its 18th year. People from all ages over central Oklahoma come to participate in a walk/run to raise funds for needed ministries in Eswatini, Africa (formally Swaziland) and in Bethany. Bethany First Church of the Nazarene is an active local church serving its community as well as the world in an effort to bring hope and healing to the nations through Christ.   Eswatini Partnership The Eswatini Partnership is a cooperative effort between the Eswatini Church of the Nazarene, Eswatini Nazarene Health Institutions, NCM Africa, Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, and Southern Nazarene University. Our goal is to come alongside Eswatini in their efforts to combat HIV/AIDS, TB, noncommunicable diseases, and the domestic abuse of women and children.

Parkinson’s Steady Strides 5K Dedicated to the physical, mental, emotional and social needs of those living with Parkinson’s disease in the Greater Dayton/Cincinnati metroplex, Parkinson Support & Wellness exists to help those with PD learn about the disease, which empowers individuals to take control and make connections with local resources like support and exercise groups. Join the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, at Fort Indiantown Gap for the 15th annual March for the Fallen event on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Fort Indiantown Gap. This event is rain or shine!
