Tröegs Rugged Trail 5K Run for Conservation

Celebrate with us at our annual Tröegs Rugged Trail Run for Conservation! We are geared up for making this another successful fundraiser in support of the Ned Smith Center's lands and trails system. The Center boasts a beautiful woodland setting with over 9 miles of trails winding through 500+ acres of land, a scenic bridge over the Wiconisco Creek, a children’s natural play area, three rotating art galleries featuring the art of Ned Smith and various national and local artists, a gift shop, and innovative educational programming for all ages. The Center is thrilled to partner with Tröegs Brewing Company for this exciting event!  All proceeds will support the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art. Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon

The Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon is held at Bear Lake State Park (Idaho) on the Idaho side and East side of Bear Lake. Bear Lake is often called the Caribbean of the Rockies due to its incredibly blue water set in high in the mountains. This race has four distances.  Half 70 1/3 Distance Long - Swim 1.2 Miles, Bike 56 Miles, Run 13.1 Miles Olympic Distance Intermediate - Swim 1500 Meters, Bike 24.8 Miles, Run 6.2 Miles Sprint Distance Short - Swim 750 Meters, Bike 12.4 Miles, Run 3.1 Miles (Full 140 2/3 Distance is not renewed for 2026. This distance causes us to have an extremely long day finishing the last racer around Midnight. We have to start as early as 7AM and this causes issues with set up and the sun only rises around 6:45AM. After 8 years of trying to grow this distance we have decided to not renew it for all the stress and lack of participation with around 30 to 40 racers. We are sorry it is not back)

The 17th Annual East End Sizzler “Stride to End Childhood Cancer” is a 5K and 10K in held in the small community of East End, AR put on by the Little Rock South Lions Club.      Registration for the race will begin at 7:00 am and ends 10 minutes before the race starts.   The 5K and 10K will both begin at 8:00 am.   This will be a chip-timed race.    There is a Course time Limit of 2 hours.    We are awarding the top 3 males and females in each age category: 19 and under , 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Event InformationEvent Description: You may compete in either a 8-hour or 4-hour race on a 1.65 mile loop course at Limestone Park. The course, mostly crushed limestone and partly asphalt, is about half flat and half hilly with one short-but-steep downhill and one short-but-steep uphill plus a couple of other small hills, with a maximum elevation change of 50 feet. NEW THIS YEAR - During the last half hour, you may switch to a 1/4 mile out and back loop (1/8 mile each way) if you don’t have time to do a full course loop. How it works: At the end of each loop you will check in with the scorekeeper. Then, take a break between loops or go right back out again; the choice is yours. Do as many loops as you can in the allotted time for your race. The scoring will be based on total loops completed. Join us for the 9th Annual Tiger 10 Miler Trail Race presented by Byron Bank!  This exciting race will take runners on ten miles of twists, turns, and hills within the Byron Forest Preserve and the more secluded Nardi Equine Prairie.  All participants will receive a custom finisher's medal, shirt and our unique age group awards go 3 deep in 5-year brackets.  Overall male & female winners and also male and female masters winners will receive awards and a cash prize.  Special awards will be given to five year finishers of the Tiger 10 Miler.  Those five years don't have to be consecutive, just five total finishes.  This is a "cup free" race so please bring your handheld water bottle or hydration pack as we won't have paper cups at our three aid stations in order to keep our trails clean and be environmentally friendly.  Following the race, the after party will be held at Hairy Cow Brewing Company from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  Race participants will kick back and enjoy

23nd Annual Groom Creek Classic: 1/2 Marathon, 10k, 5k Run

One of the most scenic and challenging 1/2 marathon and 10k courses in Arizona! This challenging course is located in the scenic and cool Ponderosa Pine forest of Groom Creek just 5 miles South of Prescott. The 5k and fun run courses stay on smooth pavement with rolling hills. The 10k and 1/2 marathon courses begin and end on pavement, but also wind through the forest on smooth, wide dirt forest roads.   Race is limited to 100 half marathon spots, 60 10k spots, and 100 5k spots.  Don't wait!We will have a cupless course.  This means that we will not have paper or plastic cups at the water stations on the course.  This is in an effort to reduce litter in our forest, and reduce the one-time use of paper and plastic cups.  All runners will be given a reusable and foldable hydration bottle at registration.  Alternatively, you can wear any hydration pack that works for you!  We WILL offer cups at the start/finish line stations.  There WILL be water stations throughout the course where
