The 17th Annual East End Sizzler “Stride to End Childhood Cancer” is a 5K and 10K in held in the small community of East End, AR put on by the Little Rock South Lions Club.      Registration for the race will begin at 7:00 am and ends 10 minutes before the race starts.   The 5K and 10K will both begin at 8:00 am.   This will be a chip-timed race.    There is a Course time Limit of 2 hours.    We are awarding the top 3 males and females in each age category: 19 and under , 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. This will be for both the 5K and the 10K.   T-shirt Deadline: September 5, 2025. We will do our best to get everyone a shirt in their size if you register after the deadline! We will provide beverages before the race and also at the water station  at the halfway point for participants. We will provide orange paper cups for water and purple paper cups for sports drinks. Event InformationEvent Description: You may compete in either a 8-hour or 4-hour race on a 1.65 mile loop course at Limestone Park. The course, mostly crushed limestone and partly asphalt, is about half flat and half hilly with one short-but-steep downhill and one short-but-steep uphill plus a couple of other small hills, with a maximum elevation change of 50 feet. NEW THIS YEAR - During the last half hour, you may switch to a 1/4 mile out and back loop (1/8 mile each way) if you don’t have time to do a full course loop. How it works: At the end of each loop you will check in with the scorekeeper. Then, take a break between loops or go right back out again; the choice is yours. Do as many loops as you can in the allotted time for your race. The scoring will be based on total loops completed. In the event of ties, the person who finished his or her last loop earliest will be the winner. Partial loops will not count. Use your own judgement about when to start a final loop. NEW THIS YEAR

Join us for the 9th Annual Tiger 10 Miler Trail Race presented by Byron Bank!  This exciting race will take runners on ten miles of twists, turns, and hills within the Byron Forest Preserve and the more secluded Nardi Equine Prairie.  All participants will receive a custom finisher's medal, shirt and our unique age group awards go 3 deep in 5-year brackets.  Overall male & female winners and also male and female masters winners will receive awards and a cash prize.  Special awards will be given to five year finishers of the Tiger 10 Miler.  Those five years don't have to be consecutive, just five total finishes.  This is a "cup free" race so please bring your handheld water bottle or hydration pack as we won't have paper cups at our three aid stations in order to keep our trails clean and be environmentally friendly.  Following the race, the after party will be held at Hairy Cow Brewing Company from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  Race participants will kick back and enjoy

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. One of the most scenic and challenging 1/2 marathon and 10k courses in Arizona! This challenging course is located in the scenic and cool Ponderosa Pine forest of Groom Creek just 5 miles South of Prescott. The 5k and fun run courses stay on smooth pavement with rolling hills. The 10k and 1/2 marathon courses begin and end on pavement, but also wind through the forest on smooth, wide dirt forest roads.   Race is limited to 100 half marathon spots, 60 10k spots, and 100 5k spots.  Don't wait!We will have a cupless course.  This means that we will not have paper or plastic cups at the water stations on the course.  This is in an effort to reduce litter in our forest, and reduce the one-time use of paper and plastic cups.  All runners will be given a reusable and foldable hydration bottle at registration.  Alternatively, you can wear any hydration pack that works for you!  We WILL offer cups at the start/finish line stations.  There WILL be water stations throughout the course where

Join the Honey Brook Community Partnership to experience a 5K like no other! Set in the heart of the Lanchester Landfill & Reclamation Center, where nature and sustainability meet. ARC RUN 2026 Please join us for our largest fundraiser of the year to support our mission and community impact! The Arc Run 2026 includes two on-site races on September 19, 2026, as well as a virtual race spanning August 19 - September 19.  The on-site 5K and 10K races utilize our USATF-certified course beginning and ending at 200 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT. For us, our course passes through portions of Meriden and Wallingford to emphasize our deep roots and decades of service to both communities. For you, our course allows your race to be a marathon-qualifying time (stay tuned for details)!  Want to support the Arc Run but don't want to actually run? This is a unique race with multiple route options empowering and celebrating each participant from the avid to adaptive runner and everyone in between. Whether athletes walk, run, jog, or wheel to the finish line, they will be given a medal; they are champions for finishing their race at their pace. The route consists of a 1.5 mile loop and 3 mile loop (approximate distances).  Participants can choose to complete one or both loops as many times as they wish and what pace they choose to reach their goals. Lace up your sneakers and join us for our 4th Annual 5K and Fun Walk, supporting this year’s beneficiary, Neighborhood Emergency Aid Response (NEAR).  NEAR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2022 to provide rapid emergency assistance within the Amblebrook community. When a medical emergency occurs, every second matters. While Amblebrook is served by the regional 911 system—including Adams Regional Emergency Medical Services (AREMS), the Gettysburg Fire Department, and the Pennsylvania State Police—the large coverage areas for these services can sometimes lead to longer response times. NEAR was created to help bridge that gap. When you dial 911, NEAR is dispatched at the same time as the ambulance. As a Pennsylvania EMS-certified Quick Response Service (QRS), NEAR volunteers are often able to arrive quickly to provide critical care until professional emergency responders arrive.
