Giant redwoods dominate the landscape in our Santa Cruz Trail Run. Aside from coiling single-track that opens up to expansive roads and paths–and even sand–participants will enjoy the ocean breezes pouring in from the Santa Cruz coast. This race delivers everything from river crossings to high ridges with aid stations every 5-6 miles for refueling before tackling the next beautiful, albeit strenuous, section. Nicole was a supporter and champion of mental health during her life, both personally and professionally, as a social worker and community volunteer; in the wake of her untimely death, the First We Live Foundation was created in recognition of the special person she was and the connections she made with so many; and as a result, the Nicole Moniz Memorial 5k has become an annual event in her honor to raise awareness and fund our mission to support and cultivate access to integrated mental health programs and services for those who encounter societal barriers in identifying and attending to their mental health needs, especially youth and those engaged in helping professions.

The course starts and finishes in Estabrook Park at the beer garden. Join us for the popular Athens Fair 5K Run/Walk that takes place in downtown Athens as part of the Annual Athens Fair.  This year is the 16th running of the popular mid-summer run. The 5K starts at Memorial Park, (in front of the Beer Tent) routes through the scenic Erbach Park trails and finishes on Kreutzer Street at in Downtown Athens, next to the grocery store, Main Street Market.  The race is made possible by the following local businesses and organizations. Lake Run Club, established in 1982 is hosting a summer trail run competition consisting of the following events: * This event is part of the Lake Run Club's Trail Run Series, which includes Run the Woods 5K/8K in October and Deer Run 8K in December. 12 Hour Sunrise to Sunset, which will be ran as a last man/women standing competition. Will be 51 miles if you complete each of the loops. The course consists of a 4.1 mile long course, measured with Garmin GPS watch.   This event you have exactly one hour to run the course. If a runner completes the loop in less than an hour, they are free to relax, refuel, hydrate, and use the facilities. So, if a person does the lap in 45 minutes, they have 15 minutes to wait around. If a runner finishes the 4.25 mile loop in 58 minutes, they have 2 minutes to use at their own discretion. The 4th Annual Standing Rocks Enduro Mountain Bike Race at Standing Rocks County Park in Stevens Point, WI.  The Expert category will have 8 Stages, the Sport category will have 6 stages, and the Youth category will have 4 stages (subject to change).  Overall finish positions will be determined by the racer's total cumulative time after completing all 4 Youth stages, all 6 Sport, and all 8 Expert runs in their category. All race stage runs need to be completed in the allotted time period (subject to change) after your race category starts.  This includes racing all the stages and riding transfers back to each stage start. Experience the 15th Annual Wausau Marathon! Join us on Sunday, August 23th, 2026, for a wonderful race experience. The Wausau Marathon features a Marathon, Half Marathon, and a free 5K, offering something for every runner. The course takes you over the stunning Wisconsin River and through some of the most scenic parts of the region. Runners from across the country join us each year, making this a truly special community event. The course is USATF certified and can be used as a Boston, Chicago, and New York Marathon qualifier. The cutoff for the Boston Marathon is the middle of September, making the Wausau Marathon one of the last opportunities to qualify for next year's race. 9.5% of our field qualified in 2025!

Fleet Feet Athens / Oconee presents the Fleet Feet Firefly 5-Miler as a fund-raising event for the Firefly Trail Race Series.  This distance fits perfectly into Half Marathon and Marathon training plans.  Come run with us!

Sugar River Triathlon

The RVA Sprint Triathlon is Richmond’s only pool sprint triathlon. Hosted by the Rockville Center, this race is set in beautiful Rockville, VA. Participants will enjoy a short pool swim, rolling rural bike, and fun out-and-back run course.  This event includes a classic sprint triathlon, kid’s splash & dash (swim-run), and new this year we will also have a shorter beginner-only race for first-time triathletes only.  Prefer to not swim or run?  No problem as we have both duathlon (run-bike-run) and aquabike (swim-bike) options.  The RVA Sprint Tri will feature a “seeded” race start with the top 12 seeded women starting approximately 7 minutes ahead of the top 12 seeded men to set up an exciting battle of the sexes to cross the finish line first! All Live Red Foundation events provide the funding for Live Red Foundation’s free fitness programs which teach life skills to children in low-opportunity communities.  Learn more here!
