A sweet treat in the summer heat! Join us on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 for the 2nd annual Watermelon Dash. This sweet race is the 3rd in a three-race series, all designed to keep you fit and refreshed this summer. The Summer Dash Series includes the Lemonade Dash, Popsicle Dash, and Watermelon Dash. All are great family events!

Enjoy an early morning 10k, 5k or 1k run followed by brews at the NEW Katy Beer Garden in Katy, Texas. All runners will receive an event shirt and medal. World Relief Durham serves refugees and other immigrants who have settled in the U.S. through a variety of programs. Durham has long supported newcomers and their families through annual events like Durham Refugee Day, held every June. Join us for WRD's 3rd Run for Refugees 5K on August 22, 2026! Our annual 5K/10K Run or Walk to Support Higher-Ed in Uganda We'll be returning to Family Worship Center for the start and finish of this year's 5K/10K.  Our event will take place on August 22nd from 8–11am. Route: The course follows the Highland Canal, beginning at Clarkson Street and heading north to Orchard. This is a wide crushed gravel trail with both sun exposed and shaded areas.  Why We Run or Walk: One of the ways True Impact and our partners in Uganda are committed to helping our students become independent adults is by offering access to the best education possible. Your participation helps eliminate generational poverty. ALL proceeds from this event support our students enrolled in upper Secondary, Vocational, University levels of education through Susies Higher Ed Fund: As our students pursue these programs, costs rise. This fund help offset tuition, supplies, and other educational expenses.

Community celebration 5k favorite is back!  The Millwood Daze 5k returns this year.  From it's tree-lined start in historic Millwood, its a flat, fast loop course great for runners and walkers.  Join us for the Millwood Daze celebration after the run with a pancake breakfast, street fair with community booths, and a classic car show.
